Read some other reviews: I don't know why people get wrapped around the axel about being coddled at a salvage yard. This is the worst place I've ever been to. They had my car for 2 days, supposed to fix my ignition coil and told me that they put the new parts on my car but couldn't get it to run. They said I could keep the parts and pay $500, or they can put the old parts back on and still charged me $250 for labor. I hope this place gets shut down and if you are in the Brandon area, don't ever go to them. You'll regret it! Worst place ever! read more

Awful customer service. They advertise 2 day handling and t's been 7 days since I placed my order with them. I tried canceling it, since it's not even shipped, and they are trying to take $20 from me for a restocking fee! Everyone I've talked to has been rude about it, as if I was supposed to know it wasn't going to be shipped when advertised. Definitely avoid them. read more

If I could leave 100 stars I would! I can't believe the AMAZING customer service I received at Brandon Auto. Let me start from the beginning: I was in FL for my sister's wedding when another car ran a stop sign and t-boned us on the passenger side (we live in VA)- per my Uncle's recommendation we had my car towed to Brandon Auto, where it was smooth sailing from there. JR & his assistant Natalie were beyond helpful with the whole entire process; constantly emailing/calling me with updates, letting me know where they can reduce cost on certain things without diminishing the work, which I definitely appreciated since I was 900+ miles away back in Virginia. After 3 weeks my car was then hauled back to VA, and I was ECSTATIC to see how beautiful my car looked. I couldn't even tell that it was ever in an accident. They did such an amazing job and I could not be more happy with the service they provided, outstanding doesn't even cover it. If you need quick service and good affordable parts, this is the place to go! The sales staff is great and knowledgeable. Poor customer service! I buy (from them!) a used rim for a Honda for $30! and then they want charge another $20 on top of that to mount MY tire on it! $20 for a 5 minute job? Was able to get the mounting and balancing done down the road for only $10! Brandon Salvage needs to be more competitive! Based on this experience I will probably never use them again. read more

I see what everyone says about the customer service here. I walked in and I got the vibe of I was interrupting their conversation that they were having. I asked if they had my part after a few clicks of his computer. All he said was no and then just looked at me. I was never a good morning sorry we don't have your part nothing. The fact that you took 8 months to read and respond is great! And the same response as another review even better. I didn't need to feel "loved" but if in your in the business of selling parts to customers you would think customer service is something you would like to be raved about not bad reviews. we just took our van to Brandon auto salvage last week because we were leaking transmission fluid and my experience was absolutely horrible we took it in and explained what was wrong I come from a family of mechanics unfortunately they don't live near me so I thought I would trust Brandon auto salvage with my vehicle considering two years ago I had a good experience well that was the WORSE mistake I made they called me and told me my seals were broken and needed replacing that's what was causing the leaking I asked them if they were 100 percent sure because I had been told it was the bearing in my transmission that was messed up they said yes they were sure it wasn't the bearing that it was the two seals and it would be $180 dollars and it would be under warranty for 90 days that their mechanic checked it an is absolutely sure that's the problem so I took a leap of faith and had them do the job ,they called me and told me my vehicle is ready to be picked up I go pick it up and on the way home as I pull into my drive way my brother in law asked me what is leaking I look and sure enough its transmission fluid!!!! I call them right back let them know what's happening they tell me to bring it back and they will check it on Monday. Monday rolls around and they call me and say its the cv axle leaking that they didn't see it because it was dirty under the car but (cv axles DO NOT LEAK transmission fluid !!!) so I called them back after speaking to my mechanic in new York and explained to them again that cv axels do not leak transmission fluid so they say no its the cv axel seal and I said that's what was fixed the two seals and they said no their is another seal on the axel and I tried to explain those are the two seals that they fixed their is no third seal .but they are adamant that their is a third seal when I asked to see it they said it was a liability for me to go and see it and that the car had already been taken down from the lift so now I'm stuck with a broken car still leaking transmission fluid while they sit back and enjoy my money with an incomplete job when I asked if they would give me a partial refund they said no that the job was done absolutely ridiculous and horrible customer service so disappointing we work so hard to have a place like this care so little and brush us off I would definitely not recommend friends family or coworkers to go here. read more
