Update - 6/10/2026, 9:46 AM…read more Amber followed up with me again and called in an oral antibiotic, which was my preferred treatment option. I am hopeful that once the infection begins to clear, the pain and discomfort will also improve. I am grateful that she took the time to listen to my concerns, follow up, and help address this issue. Small acts of care and communication can make a significant difference in a patient's experience, especially when they are in pain. Because of this follow-up and willingness to help, I have updated my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars. ------------------------------------------------- At 9:17 AM on 6/10/2026, I received a follow-up call from Amber regarding my appointment. During our conversation, I shared the same concerns I had previously expressed--that I had not yet experienced any relief from the gel that was placed in my ear canal during my visit. Amber was professional and explained that relief may take anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. My review is intended to be honest, transparent, and reflective of my real-life experience.I have only been back in Dallas for three weeks and am still getting established with healthcare providers in the area. Like any patient, I came seeking help, relief, and guidance. My sincere hope is to be happy, healed, and thriving, and I look forward to feeling better soon. ----------------------------------------------- I want to start by saying that Amber was very professional and helpful. She worked with me to get an appointment scheduled for the very next day, which I truly appreciated. The medical assistant who checked me in was also kind, professional, and even offered me Tylenol because she could see that I was in pain. Unfortunately, my experience after seeing the doctor left me feeling disappointed. I came in with a swollen ear canal and severe throbbing pain. The doctor asked a few questions, applied some gel in my ear, and the visit felt very quick. I left feeling much the same as I did when I arrived, with little understanding of the treatment plan and no immediate relief from my symptoms. My appointment was at 1:15 PM, and as I write this at 5:26 PM, I am still experiencing significant pain. My blood pressure was elevated during the visit, which is unusual for me, but I believe it was due to the level of discomfort I was experiencing. I chose this provider because of the excellent reviews, so I was hopeful that I would receive more relief and guidance. At this point, I feel discouraged and uncertain about whether I should return for my follow-up appointment or seek care from another provider. I also feel that the $84 visit did not provide the value or relief I was expecting. I appreciate the professionalism of the staff, but I hope future patients with acute pain receive a more thorough evaluation, clearer communication, and a treatment plan that helps address their symptoms more effectively. One additional consideration for patients is that there is no courtesy parking available in parking lot 3.

I was in so much pain from impacted wax and accidentally yelled the f word at one point during the procedure. AMBER the front desk lady, came in the room immediately out of nowhere, held my hand and was extremely reassuring. I squeezed the heck out of her hand and she was a rock for me, truly above and beyond bedside manner. Everyone was sweet and understanding towards me also, ZERO judgment just acceptance, patience, and understanding. I HIGHLY recommend this place!

My experience with Dr. Pandit and his staff was extremely disappointing. During my first visit, I…read morecame prepared with my blood results from my PCP, which I had already emailed to his office prior to the appointment. When Dr. Pandit came in, he asked where my thyroid and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results were - which made it clear that neither he nor his staff had thoroughly reviewed my labs. My thyroid results were clearly included in what I sent. Despite that, I proceeded with the visit. Later that same week, I called his staff to follow up and asked them to review my blood work again. They told me they would submit a request to my PCP to get all my results, even though I had already provided them. When I checked in the following week, they said they still hadn't heard back from my PCP. By that point, I had already received my Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results and wanted to send those over as well. I repeatedly asked the staff to review my original blood work because my thyroid results were already there, but they kept brushing me off. After several calls, they finally reviewed it and admitted that my thyroid results were indeed included. I then asked them to confirm whether the Chronic Fatigue Syndrome results I was about to submit were the correct ones Dr. Pandit needed to review before my next visit -- because he had specifically mentioned that he needed to see those results before proceeding. Instead of helping, two different nursing members raised their voices at me, saying they didn't know because the doctor wasn't in. I politely asked if they could confirm with him later and get back to me, but they both said the doctor "didn't have time for that" and that I would just have to wait until my next visit. I explained that I wanted to be proactive and make sure I had all the necessary labs ready ahead of time, but they dismissed me again, saying the doctor would "probably be fine with it." When I asked if they could review the doctor's notes, they said they didn't have access to them but somehow insisted the doctor already had everything he requested - which felt dismissive, confusing, and inconsistent. The staff's tone and attitude made it clear that my health concerns were not a priority to them. If this is how the staff behaves toward patients, I can only imagine how things are handled behind the scenes with the Doctor. After reading other reviews, it now makes sense why many people have shared similar frustrations - and it's hard not to believe that this office may be buying positive reviews for marketing purposes. My health is my top priority, but it was evident that it isn't theirs. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for a doctor or staff who truly care, communicate clearly, or take the time to review patient information properly.

After numerous back and forth calls to Aspire confirming that my insurance was accepted and the provider was covered I was informed everything was good to go for my appointment and had my referral from my PCP. The woman on the phone who works with Aspire called my doctors office to confirm the referral and I checked twice with Aspire to confirm and received my appointment confirmation text. I showed up to my appointment 15 minutes prior and went to check in. The morning of my appointment, when I went to my appointment, I checked in at the front desk and the woman told me that the provider isn't accepted by my insurance!! Why would Aspire lie to me and tell me everything was good to go when in fact it wasn't?!? I took off a day of work for my 'allergy testing'. Terrible customer service, why straight up lie to potential clients?! Very disappointed and appalled that I was lied to, why wouldn't anyone from this office contact me and let me know before I spend 45 minutes drive time just to the location to find out the provider isn't covered?! An additional 45 minute drive home and frustrated. Why, just why?! Please learn to provide better customer service to your patients. My allergies have been terrible and I've suffered at minimum a sinus infection every month. I'd only like to get allergy tested and start treatment. Not sure how hard that can be??

I was having some issues around my vocal cords and was told he was great. He is. I had to have a few surgeries around my vocal cords for about 5 years. 8 total surgeries and 6 by Dr Truelson from 2002-2006. He is a caring, considerate and comforting expert in his field. He quickly builds trusts. He's very open to ideas and thoughts. My recent visit was for something I thought might be happening again. He was concerned about that plus some other items that could be more serious. He suggested another ENT for the previous issue that was occurring again and made sure we ruled out anything new and more serious. The UTSW Medical School is very lucky to have Dr Truelson and I would strongly recommend him.

My wife had been a patient of Dr. John M. Truelson for 12-13 years, after she had been diagnosed…read morewith two cancers: colo-rectal and esophageal. The first 8-9 years were fine. She would see Dr Truelson for her annual check-up after having completed her Radiation and Chemo Therapy treatments and been declared cancer free for 6+ years. Because of the intensity of my Wife's throat radiation she had been unable to swallow and eat ever since the completion of the treatments. During this time, she would see another Doctor, Dr. Burdick, who would perform monthly esophageal stretching's to help with her breathing and the "long shot" expectation that she would be able to swallow and eat again(rather than her daily Peg Tube feedings). Last fall while performing a stretching, Dr Burdick discovered an infection in my wife's throat and said we should consult with Dr. Truelson to determine a course of action for a cure. Dr Truelson examined my wife and scheduled a surgery in order to be able to take a culture and biopsy to determine the cause of the infection and how to get rid of it. He determined that it was Not Cancer Based upon the results of the biopsy and culture, Dr Truelson recommended a two prong approach: 1. Antibiotics 2. 40 Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments Dr Truelson referred us to the Infectious Diseases Department where my wife underwent an antibiotic program and once completed, Dr Truelson said we should start the Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments. I asked Dr Truelson for a referral and he said "You'll have to find your own company and once you have, I'll send over a referral" WHAT??? I found a Company after hours on the Internet and numerous phone calls and we started the treatments is November 2020. After two or three treatments, my wife was having some ear popping issues so I called Dr Truelson and explained the situation and his response " Well if you'll get the plastic tubing, I'll put them in your wife's ears". WHAT??? After a few more treatments the popping in her ears went away so we didn't have to inconvenience Dr Truelson to insert the plastic tubing! After approximately 10-12 treatments my wife was experiencing a considerable amount of sputum and was going through a box of Kleenex and 1/2 can of Saline Solution EVERY DAY. I called Dr Truelson to see how my wife could get some relief and his answer " There's nothing we can do and maybe I misdiagnosed Your wife and the cancer had returned" WHAT??? I talked with my wife and told her we should go see another ENT doctor and get a second opinion. She didn't want to and just wanted to continue the treatments and hope for the best. I continued to bring up getting a second opinion and finally after her 20th treatment on December 18, 2020, my wife agreed to get a second opinion. The next day, December 19th, my beautiful wife of 47 tears passed away.
