We decided to fly home over Memorial Day weekend to surprise my dad for his 80th birthday, which required boarding our dog from Friday through Monday (they wouldn't allow pick-up Sunday or Monday). He had previously stayed at Puppy Palace during a cruise, where he was placed in a suite. During that time, we were less concerned as my friend picked him up each morning for daytime playdates, ensuring he was well cared for. This time, however, was different. To provide context, our dog is on a consistent schedule: walks at 3:30AM, 10:30AM, 3:30PM, and 8:00PM, and he is fully house-trained. On Sunday morning at 5:53AM, I checked the suite camera and noticed feces in the room. It remained there until 8:30AM, which was concerning given our dog's routine and hygiene. Additionally, after the room was cleaned and reset, I observed that both his morning and evening meals had been given to him at once. By 6:00PM, all the food had been eaten, leaving him without food until 8:30AM the next day. Additionally, I had paid for the X-Night Walk, which was supposed to last 10 minutes. However, the walk was cut short; our dog was returned to his room in only 4 minutes. On Monday at 4:20AM, again feces in the room, not cleaned up until 8:30AM. Once again, both of his meals were placed in the room together first thing in the morning. We had also purchased the "Pamper My Pet" (PMP) service for the entire weekend, but I never received any pictures or a report for Monday. On Tuesday at 2AM, again feces in the room, not cleaned up until 6AM. Typically, staff are scheduled to arrive at 6:30AM, but no one notified us that there would be a delay until 8:30AM. As a result, our dog was locked in his room for a total of 11.5 hours. Who would subject a pet to this kind of treatment? It's beyond comprehension that a facility entrusted with caring for animals would allow such neglect to happen. What I find most concerning is the way our dog was treated by one of the male attendants. On both Sunday and Monday, he was returned to the room at 8:44AM in a distressed state. In the video footage, the attendant appears to toss him into the room while still attached to a leash, and our dog's tail is visibly tucked between his legs, cowering in fear. In stark contrast, when a female staff member returned our dog from his walk on Monday night, he was visibly happy, wagging his tail. This behavior suggests a troubling inconsistency in the care he received, which I find deeply unsettling. Jennifer called to discuss my concerns, and asked to speak with Alicia, which is not my name. During our conversation, she claimed that our dog had relieved himself on the shortened walk, which is why it was cut short. She did not offer an apology for the fact that we paid for a 10-minute walk and received only 4 minutes. Furthermore, she insisted that there was nothing concerning about the way the male attendant handled our dog. When I asked about the PMP service, she said someone had sent it, but she couldn't provide any specific details or resend the report. Obviously, the report was never sent, as I did receive the others. When I mentioned that I would be leaving a public review with supporting photos and videos, Jennifer's response was, "it will get buried." To make matters worse, Jennifer accused me of only out to seek compensation when she said, "I know where this is going, I know what type of person you are, you want a handout." This is not the case. My sole request is for an apology and acknowledgment of the fact that, instead of enjoying quality time with my family, I was forced to spend the entire weekend worrying about my dog's well-being. If you are truly committed to ensuring your pet's well-being do not entrust a pet to this facility. The care my dog received was nothing short of disgusting, and the level of customer service was absolutely terrible--further reinforcing my decision to never trust this facility with my pet again. My sister help me out by putting the dogs here while we went on vacation. This pet motel is legitimately high quality to. They also offer grooming options for those that don't have time or the energy to bathe their pets. They offer daily to weekly stays, they have play areas, meals schedule that you set up, a pool for them to play in and they give you a password to go through the page to access the cameras and you get to check on them. They kept my two dogos in the same room. They were ok and a bit shook cuz one was a rescue and the other never been to "jail" before and the thought we abandoned them, but they did a phenomenal job with them. They smelled cleaned and looked healthy. I was gone for a whole week, it was about $700 it was worth it, can't put a price on safety n health. I highly recommend this pet hotel. read more

At first I LOVED puppy palace. I was a huge advocate for my dog going every week to play at day care and getting socialized with other animals. I love how they post pictures of the dogs playing at day care and they even made a little gift for Mother's Day. Unfortunately I will never return after the boarding incident my family experienced. I had to leave town for a funeral (unexpectedly) & thought of Puppy Palace immediately. I paid for the upgraded suite, day care & extra walks (roughly $280 for Friday - Monday). The staff left my dog in its suite (that has video) for over 12 hours holding his bowl movements. My dog was jumping & whining to be let out only to have to wait another 2 hours to be let out while others are attended. I had prepackaged my dogs meals as there would be 6 consumed on their watch. My dog was returned with 1 meal left over so was not fed 1 of his meals. On my dogs back paws they have cuts that were bleeding that the staff did not warn me about. I spoke with Jennifer who claimed to be the manager to whom was very combative during our conversation. She tried to explain that they did not want to waste food and throw out my dogs food. I explained that is not their call on what to waste as I am the owner and purchaser of said food. Mind you my dog eats chicken, rice & cheese. He does not eat dog food that can sit out all day. I explained how disgusting it is to leave food out all day for my dog to try and eat later. Jennifer was non remorseful and clearly does not have your fur babies best interest. Rude staff. Unhinged owner. Ridiculous prices. I wrote down everything terrible about this place, and Yelp said it was too long... sigh. This place used to be great: A- at BBB, 5 stars on Google, and a much better rating here. Now it is C+ at BBB, 4.3 (and dropping) on Google, and you see how they are doing here. The good staff have all left, replaced by more of the awful staff that used to be the exception, but are now the rule. They have no manners, no customer service skills, and several of the youngest ones don't even know how to properly handle the dogs from what I have witnessed. If you point out their shortcomings, the owner will call you in an unhinged, screaming rant and then hang up in a cowards move to avoid having to hear from you. She also slandered us by falsely asserting we were aggressive and threatening and falsely stating we were trying to bully them into taking an unvaccinated dog. All are 100% demonstrably false. She even threatened to perjure herself by filing a false police report with those lies. Even if you are in the mood for that abuse, their prices are ridiculous. I just picked up my black lab from 10 days here. I will NEVER take my dog here again and I would advise others to search elsewhere for care. The Suites show a dog bed in them. We paid a lot of money for a "Suite" plus the extra day care play time. After viewing the camera, we noticed a cot, not the bed shown on the website. (Even if he knew what the cot was for, he wouldn't have fit on it.) We called and they gave us some excuse about beds being too hot. We overnighted a bed from vacation so he wouldn't have another night on a concrete floor. The last night, his new bed disappeared from his room, and he was in there for another 24 hours with NO BED, sleeping on the concrete floor. They didn't inform us that they are stuck in the room all day on Sundays because no one is there. No playtime, stuck on the floor. You also cannot pick up on Sundays which we were not informed of. From what we saw on the camera, they don't go out again at night. Early evening is their last potty break. You get the camera access with the suite package but it only shows the room when your dog isn't having fun. You can't watch him swim and play. When we picked him up, his eye was oozing and red. He has had an untreated eye infection for who knows how long. He didn't have it when we left him. We paid $800 for subpar care. We have taken our dog to Brandon Puppy Palace for more than 2 years. We paid a month at a time as there is a discount in doing so. As our pup matured and I began to work from home there was no longer a need to take her on a regular basis. We had just paid for a month in advance. With working from home and COVID our dog has had only a few stays there in the past 15 months. She always gets groomed there though and we used to leave her there all day. With COVID we have been picking her up after she was finished. Recently, we made an appointment for grooming and told them she would be there all day. We were told that the days we had in credit had expired and we would have to pay for this visit. When we paid in advance for the entire month we were never told that those credits expire. We're never received any notification that credits were about to expire. When attempting to contact the owner, the coward refused to return our calls instead leaving his manager to deal with it. She stated there was nothing they could do and that it was posted on their website about the expiration. When checking the website it is posted now but this is not the same website as before. The only thing BPP is out for is your money. Next call is to the BBB to let them know that I paid for services and did not receive them. My dog will never return there for grooming or any other service from those crooks. read more

Unfortunately I made my last visit to Brandon puppy palace today. I take my min pin, chihuahua there to have his nails clips because he is a rescue that was abused and is afraid of new people. I had a young lady named Renee do his nails over a year ago and did an excellent job with him, so I have been going there since. Last year when I started going there it was four dollars and has been increasing ever since. Last month It was nine dollars and today it was raised to twelve. It took all of nine minutes to do the job. Its pretty obvious to me that because I only go there to have his nails clipped, they are not interested in that business. It's really unfortunate as Renee did such a good job with him and I really trusted her and liked going there. But it seems to me that twelve dollars borders on price gouging, so I guess its time for me to find someplace else to have his nails done. Denise & Alejandro were wonderful and got us all set up with a last minute schedule change that made me need to get my dog, Neo, in to run while I worked in the area. I love that they created a report card and summary of his visit! And within 20minutes of picking him, he's passed out!!!! This place is THE WORST! I boarded my dog here for three days, while on vacation. I received a message from a female employee stating that he had a wound on his side, that he was playing and dogs can get aggressive. I thought ok, it happens. I pick him up, they show me the wound, its a gaping bleeding hole. I asked them if they thought he needed stitches, they said "No, we cleaned it out, its fine, just put some Neosporin on it". I get home and show my husband, he said I would just take him to the vet to be on the safe side. Sure enough, he needs stitches. I called and spoke to the same female employee and asked when this happened, she had no idea, she said there was no incident, like attack, because of course they didn't want to be held responsible for paying the vet bill. I asked to see the camera footage to make sure it wasn't an attack, she said its company policy that the camera footage doesn't get released. YES, I signed a waiver. YES, dogs do get aggressive when they play. "Just put some Neosporin on a gaping bleeding hole, it will be fine!" What a joke! I DO NOT recommend taking your dog here! I would like to start this review by saying that nothing bad happened to our dog at the Brandon Puppy Palace. He has a great time when he goes for day care. Also I will preface that this review is for large dogs, I do not have a small dog and cannot speak to their experience. The problem is that Brandon Puppy Palace is not honest about the experience your dog will have. They take a lunch from 11-1. 11 to 1. A 2 hour lunch, and during that time your dog will be in a kennel. They can "only accommodate 15 large dogs outside" - so if your dog comes in the morning, in the afternoon he will be put in a kennel so other dogs can play outside since "he has had his play time". If it rains, your dog will be put in a kennel, because they have no indoor play pen for large dogs. And the worst part, when your dog is in the kennel, they will not even check on your dog. My dog had to pee so bad when we picked him up because he was in the kennel for so long unchecked. Long story short, there are significantly better places to take your dog. The fact that if any of the above happen means that your dog will sit in a kennel unattended, you are literally better off leaving your dog at home. read more

DO NOT BOARD YOUR DOGS HERE!!!!! I boarded Beanie here 11/25-11/30. I picked him up on 11/30 @4:30pm and the staff told me the groomer noticed some "slight irritation" on Beanie's paws. (see pics) does THAT look like SLIGHT irritation to you? If Beanie's medication was properly administered, his paws wouldn't have been nearly that bad. Beanie was severely limping, barely eating, and in so much pain. He was diagnosed with both pancreatitis AND dermatitis. Kennel manager swore to me he was properly medicated, but I was given attitude. I'd lose more money than I'd win if I were to sue, so I'm just exposing Brandon Puppy Palace for the LIARS they are. We are so happy to have found Brandon Puppy Palace! Our dog just loves to go to daycare every day and nearly pushes me out the door to go! The staff are kind and really care for the dogs entrusted to their care. They are personable, friendly and very helpful to us humans as well. They are conscientious and keep the center clean. It is so helpful to have the grooming services right there as well. We will be boarding our pup soon and feel comfortable that he will be well cared for in our absence. On July 3 I had my dog groomed at the Brandon Puppy Palace. The groomers always do an excellent job; my complaint is with management not honoring their own discount coupons. At their grand opening event, manager Bryan Balkwill gave me several $20 coupons, which I very much appreciated. Over the past few months, I have already used two coupons without any problems. However, when I presented a coupon on July 3, the new manager would not allow it. She said there was a limit of one per customer, a limitation which doesn't appear on the coupon or anywhere in the lobby. I explained to the owner that her manager had given me the coupons. She said that's one reason why he's no longer there. I didn't want to create a scene in front of other customers, so I paid the full price and wrote them a letter when I got home. AMAZING!!!! We are new to the area and took my small dog over for a nail trim. I have never seen a cleaner grooming salon! You can watch dogs being groomed through a large picture window, watch dogs out in their large swimming pool, or just relax and have coffee and watch tv. The staff was so wonderful!!! So I'm from out of state and was looking for a daycare for my sweet pitty. Drove over 30 minutes because I liked the look of the place in the internet. Get there and they don't take pits or pit mixes. NotuInc on their website says anything about that. If you are going to restrict then post it on your website. I took my dog to BPP for daycare while I was having some new flooring installed. When I picked her up she was wet on her hind legs... when asked they told me it was wet where she was kept. Then once I got her in the car, she smelled bad... I had to give her a bath the moment we got home. Then she kept trying to drink the bath water. Several times that evening she was at the water bowl drinking and drinking. She acted as if she didn't have any water all day. I wasn't happy at all with this... being wet and smelly and water deprived. I could have kept her at home in a crate and saved $27.00 and wouldn't have had a wet smelly dog. The prices are reasonable and grooming is done in the open behind a glass window. My pup came home smelling clean looking good and ready for bed lol! Will return! Brought my dog for the first time to daycare and the staff was extremely friendly. Received my first day Free, which was great considering I wasnt sure if he was going to like it. When I picked him up the staff remembered who I was and proceeded to get my dog without asking his name. They told me he had a great time, and he did.... He was exhausted from playing all day. We and our 4 pups absolutely LOVE Brandon Puppy Palace! We have had to board our babies 4 times this year and they were taken care of so well. The suites are wonderful and we were able to watch them via the camera while we were away. They were able to play all day with their friends and looked happy and healthy when we picked them up each time. We also used the daycare service throughout the year, especially with our Aussie, Jasper. He LOVED going and would always run to the door happily, bursting with excitement to go inside. He had pool parties everyday with his furry friends there. The staff is incredible and the place is immaculate. We are sadly having to move and I know all 4 of my dogs will miss playing there. We boarded our dog at Brandon Puppy Palace over the weekend. Upon picking him up, I was told an incident between my dog and another dog had occurred at daycare. They said nothing about any injuries to either dog. I apologized for the incident and went home. When I got home, I noticed both the right side and bottom of my dog's neck were swollen and wet with what I later learned was infection. I made an emergency trip to our vet who told me my dog was bitten and the bite was seriously infected. He had a 1.5-2 inch gash with punctures on each end and an abscess underneath the skin I needed to drain and clean every hour. When I called to speak with someone about the incident and why I was not contacted, I was told the manager, Bryan, was at another store and would call me the next day. It was two days before I heard from him. When he finally called, he told me the incident happened on Friday, the day my dog was dropped off. When I asked why I was not notified he said he tried to call my wife and I but could not get through. He did not leave a voicemail. Neither my wife nor I had any missed calls from BPP. They have my wife's email on file but did not send an email either. In my opinion, two phone calls the day the incident occurred is not enough of an effort to notify us of our dog's injury. Especially when he was scheduled to stay there two more days. Had we been notified, his visit would have been cut short and he would have seen the vet immediately. Instead, he stayed in his boarding room for two more days allowing the wound to become infected. When I asked why I was not notified of the injury when I picked my dog up Bryan said he did not know. He said he put a note on my dog's file for them to tell me but it was not there anymore. He offered credit towards future boarding at BPP after we said how disappointed we were and that we would not be returning. My wife asked for the owner, Jenifer, to call us to let her know we felt the lack of notice by BPP (both at the time of the injury and when I picked up our dog) was unacceptable. We wanted her to be aware of the situation so she could take steps to ensure this did not happen to another dog. She contacted my wife and proceeded to call us liars saying we were exaggerating the injury and only after money. It would have been nice for them to offer to pay for our dog's vet bill since he was bitten and the bite infected while in their care; however, we did not expect it. What we expected was empathy to our situation which Jenifer clearly did not have. Unfortunately, we do not have much control on how places like this treat our pets once we sign the waiver that lets them get away with many issues. However, we can share our experience in the hopes this never happens to anyone else. read more

The only negative we have is that he came him with his skin broken out red bumps all over here not sure if it's a coincidence or what doctor says it may be allergies. My dog stayed at the Brandon Puppy Palace for several days. She is an older dog who was injured when she went in. We booked her into a suite. We loved the webcam access and enjoyed watching her enthusiastic greetings to various kennel personnel. They watched her injury for us and took excellent care of her. Their grooming staff did a wonderful job with her nails and coat. She looks and feels fabulous (and smells good too). They are probably a bit more expensive than other boarding facilities but I really appreciated the thoughtful approach to her injury. We also paid for the extra walks and she clearly enjoyed those as well. We will likely never board anywhere else and I highly recommend them as groomers as well. read more

Our 10 month old Sheltie, Faith, absolutely loves attending the Brandon Puppy Palace doggie daycare! She enjoys playing with the other dogs and enjoys the special treatment she receives from the personnel . Facility is very clean and personnel truly show an interest in the dogs . We first used the grooming side and were surprised that the poof on our poodles tail and head were cut low. We planned to let it grow out and be more specific of the cut next time. We then used the boarding side. We were not thrilled to learn we would have to pay for an extra day since they were closed on Sunday (the day we return to town), however, they gave us a great deal on daycare, so win-win. But when we picked up, we learned our dog had been given a full groom, which was an extra cost that they refused to correct. When we got home we discovered three wounds on our dog's abdomen. We contacted the palace immediately and were told it was scratches from either daycare or the groomer. We took pictures of the wounds and the vet confirmed, they were from clippers and they were infected. (Plus he contracted an upper respiratory infection; which we learned is pretty typical). So now we have a vet bill on top of the grooming charges and were told they would not pick up the vet bill since we "signed papers" well, no we didn't since we didn't ask for the full groom! read more
