I have brought 5 dogs here to be boarded in the 6 years i have been coming here, they have ALWAYS provided excellent care going above and beyond, Respectful, kind you name it just awesome staff, they recently revamped their entire staff excluding Jenna and Leland both of which are amazing and very helpful. Since the staff change my dog has boarded 2x, during pickup they are not remembering toys brought with her, unused food being returned and forgetting her harness and leash, Not a huge deal except i live an hour and half away, still not a huge deal spoke with Leland (mgr) and he assured me that he would get issue resolved. Upon pickup this past weekend I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with their NEW receptionist, not impressed at all... While discussing what was being forgotten this time I asked about the ball forgotten from last visit and she got an attitude and rolled her eyes at me (of course facing away from the camera they have in the lobby) Well Im sorry that set off my bitch switch and for that I apologize but her eye rolling and attitude were uncalled for in a professional place of business, and when the OLD staff here were always so gracious and friendly no matter what then its unexpected and unacceptable, I work in customer service and would not have a job if i rolled my eyes at a customer. At any rate I will no longer be bringing my Tia to this facility. They really should do some customer service training with this individual as she clearly needs it . They grind our 27# Boston terrier's nails every 3 weeks probably in less than 4 minutes. He is a terror with his nails and we have taken him to over 4 sites including pet smart who were not able to trim his nails. It's a 30 minute one way drive for us but worth it. Thank goodness I found them! read more

She takes time to make sure they are relaxed and always talks so sweetly to them if they ever get stressed. I would recommend Stephanie to anyone who wants their dogs to get that extra attention. I've now used Happy Pets Inn twice, once for boarding and now for grooming. I am so happy I found this place. Luckily I saw them off S.R. 60 by chance one day driving to Brandon. I have two Siberian Huskies that I took here to board quite some time ago and that experience was wonderful and I know they were well taken care of. Now just yesterday I had my female husky brought here to be groomed. She has a wooly coat that is sometimes hard for me to maintain as she HATES being combed. Not going to lie the state of her coat was not in good shape but Happy Pets Inn did such an amazing job getting her undercoat out and she's as beautiful as ever! They treat your pets well and are very nice to their human customers too! We let them keep all 3 of our fur babies.

I have taken 5 dogs to Happy Pets for over 10 years and written glowing reviews because they have the best groomer in Plant City, a young man named Leland. Since the business has new owners, I have a totally different opinion of the place. I take my toy poodle in twice every six weeks, have sent around 15 friends with dogs to them, but will never go back after today nor recommend them again. The young woman at the desk (One I don't recall ever meeting) seemed curt from the minute I took my dog in this time. When I picked her up, this is what happened: In this tiny entry room there were four people, two workers, two customers and two dogs, none wearing masks in close quarters, so I went outside to wait. I had on a mask because I have asthma. Two of the women came out with their two dogs, laughing and talking loudly, one yelling right in my face. I said, "Don't yell in my face," then went in to pick up my dog. (and yes, I could have said Please .) The young woman at the desk said, "Don't be rude to people in this office." (I was outdoors at the time.) I said, "I have asthma, no one has on a mask, and she yelled right in my face." She then said, "Well, she didn't mean to and you can't be rude in here." I wasn't. I was trying to keep her out of my face and had every right to protect myself. At this time no one is even allowed in my vet's office without a mask, and this place was taking no Covid safety procedures whatsoever. I regret leaving because I really like the groomer, but it didn't smell as nice, look as clean, and certainly has a changed attitude. "Rude" at this time is not respecting other people's space, and I'd say it again. I won't go back and won't recommend it again because of the front desk crew now, not Leland. read more

I am a Wandering Celt & have moved quite a bit. One of the things that I dread when I move is finding a new groomer for my dogs. The other thing I dread is finding a place to board my dogs. On the suggestion of my neighbor I took my dogs to Happy Pets Inn to be groomed. Leah did a wonderful job! My dogs look wonderful! I have also boarded my dog at Happy Pets Inn. The staff & owners are kind & caring. I am normally a bit nervous leaving my dogs with anyone but, I have no anxiety about leaving them at Happy Pets Inn. My Pets are Happy & so am I. read more

I've had a very good experience with Happy Pets. Everyone has been very friendly and my dog practically drags me inside when we get there and he never pulls on his leash. I've utilized for boarding and daycare and have been satisfied. They always call to check on him after we get home. When we picked him up from being boarded Tuesday - Sunday we had no issues once we got home. He transitions easily back and forth and we can tell he's well cared for there. I would highly recommend. If you have any immediate needs or questions it's best to just call or stop by. I've found the center is not as responsive via email but that's ok. I recently had to board my dog for a funeral I had to attend out of state. I just moved to the area and found Happy Pets Inn by chance driving one day. I stopped in and was given a tour and a run down of the operation. I brought my dog Willie in and he was not feeling well when I dropped him off. When I picked him up though he was looking good and feeling good. I will definitely bring Willie back, Everyone was so nice to myself and most importantly Willie. read more

This place is a wonderful caring place where we leave our dog fairly regularly. They make a big fuss of Willard every time and he goes off with a wagging tail! Happy pets also does an excellent job cutting his nails. We know Willard is loved and well cared for. read more
