From the moment I arrived, they made me feel completely comfortable and welcome. I had my toddler with me, and they immediately noticed and offered her crayons and a coloring book to keep her entertained while we waited. It's the little things like that make such a big difference as a parent. I don't usually handle the car maintenance myself--my husband typically takes care of it--but I had to bring it in this time. As a woman who's not well-versed in mechanics, I've often felt uneasy in the past with other places that pressure you into upsells. That was not the case here. Ace was completely transparent, never pushy, and explained everything clearly without any upselling or unnecessary "extras." I really appreciated the honesty. When my daughter started having a mild tantrum, they were incredibly patient, letting me take care of her without rushing or making me feel awkward. I will definitely be returning for all my future car service needs and highly recommend this Jiffy Lube to anyone in the area. A huge thank you to Ace and Brenna for their fantastic service, kindness, and patience!

I visited this location without my male partner, and I believe I was upsold products and ripped off…read moredue to my gender. The technician was both pushy and dismissive at the same time. He indicated "you will need to change your oil pan but it can wait to your next service." He upsold me on filters and tried to push new air and cabin filters on me despite the fact I had labeled them the last time I changed them and they are perfectly fine. A simple oil change was $146. I returned home and the car immediately started leaking oil. I contacted the manager and was again treated in a dismissive mananger: Samantha, The advice provided was based on our technician's (who are not mechanics), opinion. When the salt and brine attack the rust, there is no way to know how long the metal will hold out. Our technicians don't offer 100% assurances as there is no way of knowing. We are sorry your oil pan did not make it to your next service but will not be offering any compensation as this was not the result of a failure of our parts or workmanship. If you have any questions or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to call. Regards; John Gooding Manager This is disturbing and disgusting and sadly happens a lot in car repair. Studies have been done to demonstrate the misinformation and sexism in the industry: In 2012, Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management teamed up with AutoMD to conduct an experiment on why different customers receive different quotes. AutoMD's agents called 4,603 auto-repair shops to get a quote for a radiator replacement. The experiment presented three conditions: The customers indicate that they have already done research, and know the market rate for the replacement The customers indicate that they have no clue about pricing The customers indicate that they think the price is higher than market rate The results of the study found that customers in group 3 did indeed receive higher quotes. Customers in groups 1 and 2, however, received approximately market price. That was, if you were a man. However, when researchers broke down these results by gender, they found something troubling: women are worse off when they indicate that they have no clue about pricing. In the study, women were quoted an average price of $406, while men were quoted $383. According to Meghan Busse , one of the study's authors, this difference comes from statistical discrimination: "Shops believe, rightly or wrongly, that women know less about cars and car repair. In the absence of information to the contrary, they will be offered a higher quote." AVOID LIBERTY LUBE AT ALL COSTS. Long story short: upsold me on everything, car immediately started leaking premium oil, and then dismissed me and offered absolutely no compensation. I now require expensive repairs and a brand new oil change after Liberty Lube staff touched my car.

The techs assumed no accountability for it even though my last 6 oil changes were there. Left emails and attempted to contact supervisor but seemed to never be there. Had to get all 4 bolt holes rethreaded to reinstall the skid plate at my own expense. Prices are reasonable and employees are present just disappointed in their lack of accountability in this case.
