Well I was the first person to review. I've lived in the area for a decade. I've been to every liquor store in PTC. I still think this one is the best. Sure some things may be more expenses but by and large I find their prices are usually a buck or so less than others on wine and beer and in the ball park on liquors...I don't have a specific liquor that I am loyal too so couldn't quote price comparison with other places. I've never experienced BAD service. Sometimes something has happened or someone is having a bad day and they aren't as friendly as usual, but hey don't we all have bad days. 90% of the time they great me when I come in, ask me if I need help, will happily open a box if the wine I want us not in display, look up in a computer if the wine or liquor u want us not in the shelf and offer to order it, and even follow up with a phone call to let me know later they can't get something. I was worried with new owners, renovations and such, that they would jack up their prices. They have not. Prices I feel are the same. Kegs tend to be a little more than other places. They have really expanded their refrigerated beer, cider, spiked seltzer selection. The new whiskey section is off the chain. And best is their loyalty program...points accumulate for credits. Beware they charge a "service fee" for credit card usage but if you pay cash you get a "cash discount" that is always LOWER than the "service fee". Basically ripping off the consumer a few cents every transaction. When I called them out they blamed "the system" that they cannot change. Will NEVER shop there again, and I've been using them over a decade. read more

Horrible service. This is the third time I have encountered employees standing behind the register, who act as if I am bothering them by coming into their store to make a purchase. This trip was 9/2/2019 . Other times I have had to wait for the gaggle of the employee's behind the counter, to finish their conversations on how waisted they got the previous night, before they would do me the favor of taking my money. Since I work in the area I have asked people I work with have they had similar experiences and they have said it is well known around town that the employees have a reputation for poor customer service. read more

Good selection of liquor. Last time as was in the store they ran out of Gordon's Gin. The thing that annoys me the most is that none of the people that work their where a mask! Not sure if I want to catch Covid. Imagine all those customers coming in and out of the store... might take my business elsewhere. read more

Wow, haven't been Hera in a while and was surprised! The remodel is nice and professional. Really decluttered making a very pleasant shopping experience. Prices have always been great. Super knowledgeable about bourbons and made a great gift recommendation. New favorite! read more

Good selection of liquor, beer, and wine. Prices are reasonable. They seem to have a better selection than most of the stores around. I'm typically on the hunt for unique bourbons or beers. I can usually pick something up here. read more

They carry what I like, but the people who run it are pretty bad. I have to remind them, every time, that alcohol has to go in a bag before you take it out of the store. Plus, they have a promotion about how, every dollar you spend, you get points towards free shot glasses or flasks. Unless you remind them, they will not do the promotion, which is incredibly terrible service. If one of the enticements is something the customer has to remind you of, every time, you must not want the customer too badly. Disappointing. read more

Renovations are bringing this store up to modern standards. Selection is great for beer, wine and liquor. The staff is helpful and nice. Prices have been good and I'm hoping the renovations don't put pressure to raise prices. read more

This place used to be great, but something has gone terribly wrong. The customer service (especially the beer guy) is horrible. The employees rarely acknowledge you. If you dare to ask a question, you will either get a condescending answer or a very terse one. We have been told that they will let the regulars know when something is in stock. Apparently we are not regular enough or they never get stock. This store places NO value on customer relations. My husband and I have decided to take our business elsewhere after 15 years. read more

Don't waste your time. I pay $14.99 for a specific tequila that Brandon's charges $18.99. Exact same brand and size. The only reason I went to Brandon's was because they were open an hour longer than my normal package store on Sunday. read more

Good beer selection, horrible service. I just walked out of the store with a 12 pack of paulaner which the box had begun to seperate. 2 steps out of the door and the box came apart. 3 beers broke. Management refused to replace/exchange the box. "It's my problem" per them. I will never buy another item from them again. They lost a lot more than a $14 box of beer. Despicable. It's unfortunate that I pass by them everyday. I will deter all of my friends from shopping there too. Here's how economics is reflected by lack of customer service and appreciation. read more

I called over here to inquire about their selection of beers at the time and the guy who answered the phone was more than happy to tell me what they had in stock. However when I asked about the particular beer that they get in limited quantities he told me that unless I am a regular I won't get access to that beer because I'm not shopping there enough. Well I don't plan on shopping there enough to ever get to be a regular because I was completely turned off to this place as a result of this interaction. I will not be going back. read more

i just saw a previous comment about the same situation.. I called yesterday to inquire about a specific beer I've been trying to find all summer.. the man that answered told me that is a specialty item and they only get limited quantities of it and he lets his regulars know about it first. and that if not I'm not a regular he's not going to tell me over the phone if he has it of not... which made it seem he had it in store but after that conversation I'm surely not going to even go in and try to find it. Called to see if they had Elijah Craig 18yr. They said they did. Drove 2.5hrs to pick it up. MSRP on this bottle was $120. Brandon's wanted to charge me $239. I am no sucker nor am I willing to be robbed. This store price gouges. read more

I love the vast selection of beverages(St. Bernardus Abt.12) this place carries as well as it's location (around the corner from my house). However the customer service leaves much to be desired. I visit this place at least once if not twice a month, and depending on whose running the register my retail merchant to patron interaction has been disappointing at best. I can only speak for myself, but the overall vibe that I get feels as if I am not welcomed. Or "hurry up and buy! Spend your hard earned $$$ on our stuff and leave! No time to browse buddy or a I will ask you 15 times, 'Can I help YOU with something!" Having lived in Fayette County for several years this is something I could never get use to. If I am not of your desired demographic please post something outside of your business establishment as to what is. I can't read hearts but I can determine by someones actions their intent. Sadly we live in world where people assume the worst in others due to political, religious, and media propaganda. I chose to stop feeding at those tables 18 years ago, but I do appreciate that not everyone moves at the same pace. Best service and selection in Peachtree City. I drive past 2 other package stores to get to this one just for the personal, friendly service. The staff is knowledgeable and eager to help with both selection and carrying items to the cars. If I ask for something they don't have they're happy to order it for me, take my information, and call me when it comes in. And they do it all with a smile. read more

This place is horrible!! It was the only place to go in town 15 years ago. Now, when you go in, the guys are so busy playing on their phones they will not greet you. They are soooooo unhelpful. Rude. The shop is dusty and gross. Go else where my fellow PTC folks. Over priced and such a bad experience every time I've been the past couple years. I'll never return. read more

I have gone to Brandon's for over 10 years, they would take checks from regular customers and discount my bulk purchases. They have become increasing rude over time stating they can't take checks now because so many have bounced....even tho I am a regular customer. I was last in there with my husband, he asked for a particular product, the manager told him "we don't have that" no offer of another similiar product or sorry about that. When we left he couldn't believe how rude they were to both of us and told me not to go back they obviously didn't want our business. My 88 year old mother went in the other day and told them how rudely she had been treated at her last visit, she stated there is always a nice way to say something.... no apology just more rudeness! With the exception of Shannon (who is no longer there) and Andrew who is always very nice and helpful (I used to try to go only when he was working) the rest of the staff is horrible. Obviously they don't care about keeping long term customers so we will not be back! read more

Very good beer selection, but service is poor. I'm a local that comes in on a regular basis, so my review is from a many visits perspective. It's definitely a trend. The staff tends to congregate behind the counter and " bs" about all of their problems in life. I hear the same things over and over. Not every time, but enough where I'm looking for a new place to shop. read more

There's more than meets the eye at Brandons... the facility is very basic but out of many options to purchase beverages in the area, we always choose Brandon's. We're always greeted with a friendly smile and offered assistance. If we need a suggestion the staff is always ready to provide information or give an opinion on a product. We buy beer the most because they have a nice selection of craft brews, as well as fun seasonally and of course all the staples... And they can make special orders for products not in stock. Overall the selection is very good and the best feature that sets them apart is their customer service. Keep it up and you'll always have my business!!! read more
