He was very efficient and even managed to do a workaround when the new Toto tank I had ordered came with a broken push button - he replaced it with the old push button which was not an exact fit but he adjusted it patiently until it fit and worked. I was having a strange bathroom issue where the shower faucet was not really allowing me to choose between temperatures; somehow the mechanism must have been so old and decrepit that you could turn it to warm and get cold, warm, or hot, and could not maintain that state. Scott asked for a photo of my shower faucet knob, ordered new parts, and showed up and replaced it. Now the water temps work as expected! He also told me a tip about making sure the water diverter was allowed to let the water drain so I wouldn't get weird dripping. Thank you Scott! read more

I had a slowing moving drain for several weeks. I tried all the usual home remedies. None worked. I then realized I needed to call in a professional and Brandt Plumbing was my first and as I see it, best choice. Prices are reasonable as far as the usual per hour rate. And, service and attention to detail is outstanding. Not only did Brandt attend to the clogged bathroom sink, Scott also checked my toilet and the "running water" problem at no extra charge. No doubt Scott is an excellent plumber with good people skills -- very responsive as well. However, he charged me $140 for a very simple fix that took him 15 minutes. As a first time customer, this didn't sit right with me. He also never mentioned to me over the phone that his minimum charge was $140. Good service, way overpriced. read more

They came out and did a minor repair. Charged us $50. I've requested an invoice about ten times and all of my requests have been ignored. No one has ever called me back. I'm not big on companies that aren't organized and don't follow through. read more

Nobody ever looks forward to having a plumbing issue, but I never stress out about them any more because I know I have Scott to rely on. He's been at my house for so many different issues: water heater, sewer drain back up, leaky toilets, installing water filters, fixing fireplace gas starters, installing gas line for a gas fireplace, adding an emergency shut off valve to my gas main (in case of earthquake).... Honest, reasonable and gets the job done even for smaller jobs like leaking faucets in old houses. Scott of Brandt Plumbing is "the man". I am extremely happy of his work which has been extensive a couple of years ago. He replaced the piping from the street meter to the house as well as other paraphernalia such as to control water pressure. Replaced the pipes under the house to copper as well as the ones inside the walls. Replaced my ancient H & C water valves in the shower and tub to a single valve as well as the pipes inside the wall that were associated to them. (This job alone was estimated BY OTHERS at $2,200 not including the pipes inside the wall). Replaced the hose bibs, installed a new water heater and extended the gas line to receive a gas clothes dryer. He upgraded the piping from my clothes washer so that it would not back up onto the adjacent utility sink. He dealt with all my sinks in a way or another. He tuned up my sprinklers "I do not do sprinklers" he said, but he helped me out anyway. All the work above including parts, like the water heater, was about $3,xxx. He is 98% punctual, clean worker and a very respectful human being. I GIVE HIM 10 STARS. BRAVO! read more
