We called eye plum to see about getting a tankless water heater put in our bathroom. When Steve came out, he looked at her situation and said that he he could install a heated pump on our hot water heater instead of the tankless water heater, which is much more expensive. The pump he installed and the work he did cost us $1800 tankless water heater would've been at least $5000. He was easy to work with on time very easy to get along with. We had him back again to put in a new showerhead and valve assembly and unplugged a sink. He response almost immediately when we call him we will be using him again I'm sure. read more

if You don't call Stephen for a quote with a plumbing issue, you are crazy. He is such an honest guy. Here is the story. I call another local plumber on a leak in my driveway. The guy comes out says the leak is under my driveway and he can fix it for 14k! I call Stephen from I Plumb and he is there in 30 mins. Looks really honest and nice. A local guy who grew up here. Drains the water, then goes to the shut off valve and finds my house sprinkler drain valve accidentally got pushed open a bit. Turns it and problem fixed. He refused to charge me. Saved me 14k! The nicest guy ever. He said by the way if there was a leak under the cement it would have been like $1500 not 14k! Is this guy the last honest guy out there? I wanted my main water shut off valve moved to a different location along the pipe. I contacted them on their website and sent a photo to their phone number. Got a quote in 1-2 days. Steve recommended replacing the old pressure regulator, and 2 old valves at the same time and quoted around $700. That's a good quote. It was roughly the same quote I had received a few years ago (no inflation?!) from another small plumbing company that moved out of the area. They had time the next day. Quality of work was very good. I think the name of the person who did the work was Spencer. At the start of the job Steve came and observed that there were some challenges that he did not see in the photos I had sent. The pipes were too close to the house wall. The stucco was added after the pipes were in place. They had use pipe elbows to route the section of the pipe away from the wall to accommodate the new pressure regulator. Another thing that Spencer later told me was that they had arrived with parts for 3/4" pipe, but I had 1" pipe. So Steve had to go to the store to get parts. These issues were mentioned to me only for my information. They did not whine about the extra work, bigger parts or ask to increase the cost. A few things Spencer tried didn't work out due to the limited length of the pipe and the closeness to the stucco. The final solution he came up with looks very elegant. He took his time (almost 3 hours) to do it right and explain things to me. This was far from a rush job to get on to the next job. He said it was a 4 person company. read more

We requested that I Plumb come out to our house to take a look at at a leaking toilet. The lid was impossible for me to get off because of the design of the fixture. Steve and his assistant (sorry I didn't get his name) came out the same day but didn't have the right part in his van. He came back early the next morning and fixed the issue with the correct part.
