I had set them down the first time I visited and then hiked it back to the Gold Coast to get them. I browsed the store. It was pretty crowded, but we are still having warm weather in Chicago, as expected. Plus, Glossier opened up next door. They had a freaking line to get in (like a nightclub). I did not get that, honestly. ( I went inside there... I am left confused as to their appeal.) Back to Madewell. I really like their clothing selection, and their pricing was quite decent for the nice quality. The cashier was super friendly and quickly signed me up for their rewards program. The customer service was excellent by all of the staff especially Cam I don't know if its spelled with a C or a K but he was knowledgeable and very hospitable both times we came in and remem our names and where we reside at and even gave us a recommendation to a Cuban restaurant when we asked him. I bought a Chicago t-shirt from the location and I will definitely be back to visit again and make sure Cam gets a raise and I want to commend the entire staff for making our experience a valuable one.

The space itself is a bit dark for my taste, but it fits the aesthetic they're going for. Service was very attentive. Almost too attentive. Multiple check-ins asking if I needed help which isn't a bad thing, just felt a little over the top if you're someone who likes to browse in peace. That said, the staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly trained well. Still a fan of the brand and the store. Even when I say I'm "just looking," Kith somehow convinces me otherwise.
