Very rude sales associate upstairs with dressing rooms. You don't want to experience that when you're ready to buy a lot. Do better.

The customer service here is absolutely horrible -- literally don't think I have ever had a worse experience in my life. We walked in, were told to order from a screen and no actual human would help give us advice on dress selection, and when we asked for their help were told by a rude staffer that this is just a "tech store" and "we are busy because we are understaffed during the holidays" (when there were only like 5 other people in the store, who the staff were also not helping). It's like they are actively trying NOT to sell clothes. Will never spend a dollar here again. read more

The staff at this location flat out does not care. They do not know their products and cannot follow up on the most basic requests for specific sizes and styles. They leave each other alone to manage the entire try on process while other associates pretend to help and do not. Just close the store already and move on. For the price of the clothing one would think they would try. read more

It was my first time shopping at this location. I usually go to Oakbrook. I wont return here again. To be treated and spoken to such why by a "manager" was so unprofessional. I simply wanted to make a return only for Audra to accuse me of taking the tag off the item. I let Audra know this was how I purchased the item from the Oakbrook location. Audra then proceeds to tell me that she cannot offer full refund and only store credit. I then called the Oakbrook location, where they confirmed that they do infact take off the initial tag but keep the tag "do not lose me!". Upon speaking with manager Audra again she said that I shouldve mention that to begin with, which I did, and then proceeded to tell me she doesnt have time do reverse my return. I received a phone call and was discussing what just occurred to which Audra responded with a rude tone" Do you not see whats going on right now". I was absolutely stunned by that response. As the only person of color in the store who was receiving this type of service I couldnt believe it, I felt so embarrassed. Never have I received this attitude at the other location ive been too. Especially not this type of behavior and response from a "Manager" at that. I later had someone else come and speak on my behalf because my daughter was crying in the car. To which Audra then started crying to the person speaking on my behalf. This was the worst experience. read more

As one who is slowly coming up to speed with influencer style....baby steps...I am familiar with the brand Reformation based on the styles that show up on my feed. This is the fashion brand's first standalone store in the Midwest, not counting the in-store location at Nordstrom. This location, on the shopping strip of Walton Street, encompasses three light-filled stories. The first level consists of racks of clothing (not all sizes are out, and customers are encouraged to use the touch screen monitors around the store to browse the collection and select items to be placed in a fitting room. The second floor, more of a mezzanine, includes bridal styles. I took a peek and could easily see some of these styles working for evening/cocktail events as well. The third floor is home to the fitting room and features a window onto Walton Street, as well an additional touch screen monitor. The store was not crowded on my visit during the week, early afternoon but I have a sense that the crowds will pick up once word of this location spreads. The woman working here (didn't catch her name) mentioned that about 900 people showed up to the store's opening party a few weeks ago. Wowzer! Although I did not purchase anything on this visit, I admired the brand's aesthetic and can easily see working some of the midi skirts and dresses (this season's standouts) and cozy knitwear into my fall wardrobe. Having seen some of the items in person, I also have more confidence in ordering online, as a picture doesn't always do the clothing justice. Overall, this store promises to be a great addition to the shopping lineup in this area. read more

I frequently pass by the store and I decided today to check it out. I did purchase a dress online already and was waiting for it to be shipped to my home. I told them I am recently engaged and was looking for a white or cream dress for my future wedding events such as for bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, engagement party, etc. I picked a couple that I liked and then they also hand selected other dresses that I may like as well. They even picked some heels to try with the dresses. I had such a great experience and they were so friendly. So helpful! Thank you! read more

I love reformation and shop there a lot in LA. I'm in Chicago for a wedding and needed a few things for events. This location is chaotic... period. The staff seems annoyed and bothered if you ask them for help. I wanted to buy a pair of shoes and they couldn't find the other matching size on the display and I waited for a long time. Here is a customer trying to give them money and it was a huge inconvenience for them. Didn't even try to recommend something else. I left after waiting for some time. I still needed the shoes for the wedding so I went online the next day and it said they were available. I went back today to be greeted with the same annoyance but they magically found the other shoe - sigh. This place needs to do better hiring as the LA & NY locations have amazing customer service. read more

Clothes are cute and on-trend but expensive for the low quality fabric. They only have 1 of each item on racks - you request your size from a salesperson and then wait for a dressing room to open (waits can be long when store is busy) read more

I was in the Oakbrook Mall Reformation Store on Saturday, April 27 with my daughter. She was looking for some white outfits to wear to her upcoming bridal showers, bachelorette party, etc. for her upcoming wedding. She found a top, skirt and 2 dresses that that she purchased for just under $1,000. This is the most money she has ever spent on clothes for herself. After she paid for the items the sales girl proceeded to fold them quite messily (almost balling them up) one on top of the other. I was shocked at how carelessly she was handling clothing that my daughter had just spent her hard earned money on. I asked if we could have the clothing put into a garment bag. She replied that the store hadn't gotten any garment bags in for over a year. I then asked if she could at least put some tissue between the garments. She blithely replied that the store was "paper free" and proceeded to stuff the four garments into a small cloth bag! I work in a women's clothing store. Our price point is lower than Reformation's is but we treat each customer's purchases with respect. Each item is wrappped in tissue paper before being placed into a paper shopping bag with handles. If the item is a dress or blazer we automatically hang the garments in a garment bag. We will happily hang any item in a garment bag for the customer - no matter if the item was several hundred dollars or was on sale for $39.99! We do this to show our customers that we respect their purchases and themselves. This level of care also ensures the customer will shop at our store again and again. I have already told a couple of the sales associate that I work with about our disrespectful experience with the Reformation store. We will most certainly NOT be shopping at Reformation again. read more

I shop at Reformation stores in other cities all the time and it's usually a pleasant experience, so I don't understand why the people in this store in particular are so rude. The girl on the floor seems so uninterested in helping customers. Super disorganized, had to wait 20 min for a room even though I was the only customer in the store. Of course when I got to my room, they forgot where they out my items and couldn't find them. read more

I went into the store on Walton and a wonderful sales associate, Muriel Woodland, helped me pick out some clothes to send to my daughter for her birthday. She was attentive, knowledgeable and answered all my questions about fit and size. It was a fantastic shopping experience and I would highly recommend stopping in to see Muriel. read more

The strap on my dress broke after one wear, and Reformation will not repair or replace. Your clothes are not "sustainable" if they're lower quality than fast fashion. read more

When you spend $300 on a mini dress you expect the employees to be decently pleasant with you. Not the case at this store. There was only one other customer in the store and they made me wait 15 minutes to try on one dress. Giving there was one other customer the fitting rooms were open. Lastly, the dress I bought was silk and the woman folded it up really small and put it in a bag so now I have to get it pressed. If my event wasn't this weekend I would not have given them the commission. read more
