Watching my mom sing and dance with such happiness and freedom was a moment I'll not soon forget. It was a moment of pure connection and joy--not only for her but for everyone there. The atmosphere was warm, inclusive, and full of life. The activities director approached my mom, hugged her and told her how much she enjoyed my mom's singing (mom was a singer). My mom's face lit up, and that moment of pure happiness on her face, let me know we were home. We were also impressed by how well the staff knows each resident--not just their medical needs, but their personalities, routines, and histories. This personal connection makes all the difference in memory care, and it's clear the team takes pride in creating meaningful moments every day. I visited my friend's mom with her. I was impressed both when I drove up and when I entered. Beautiful chandelier, artwork, and decor. The individual rooms are nice, spacious and clean. However, the care is subpar in some aspects. Poor "J" hasn't had a phone in days and my friend is getting the run around in regards to it. . . Not acceptable!!! Hopefully once she's settled in more, things will be improve! read more

I have worked at Brandywine Living at Voorhees for almost two years now. I love what I do and I love how rewarding it is to work in this community. The residents are great and so much fun to be around. Overall a great place to work with great people, residents and staff alike! After my mom passed away my dad came to stay with me temporarily. What started as a month long stay as renovations were done to make his home more accessible, quickly turned into a year. I work nights and weekends and always felt bad coming home to find my dad plopped in front of the television. My co-workers mom lived at a Brandywine and I always heard rave reviews from her. It took some convincing to even get my dad out of the car on our first visit. We finally were able to get him into the building when lunch was mentioned. After lunch, dad decided he might as well take a look around. He recognized two residents from his Greek Orthodox Church and the rest is history. I visit my dad for lunch twice a week and sometimes will join him on Saturdays when they have an entertainer come in. Brandywine Living at Voorhees was the best choice for my tough dad and I wish we could have moved him sooner! read more

It has been a stressful few weeks but the staff at Brandywine has helped make it a little more bearable. We visited with my parents who both suffer from dementia. The staff were so accommodating and helped us to find the setup that best fit our very specific needs. Compared to some of the other places we visited, this was an easy sell to mom and dad. The building is beautiful and the food was delicious (we came for lunch to try everything out). It's been just over 3 weeks since they moved in and I can already tell they feel right at home.
