The Store is quite adorable, I like seeing all the little knick knacks on sale along with the candies, but I was surprised to deal with a rude and stressed staff member, which instantly took away from the quaint atmosphere. I asked for a couple of samples before I spent $30 or so dollars on the chocolates, but was denied samples, and felt very unfriendly vibes coming from her. I've only been to the Chambersburg store one other time, which was a quick but good experience. I was disappointed at my most recent visit to the Hagerstown store.

The sign on the side is big, but coming from the East, you can easily miss this small place. I'm a big fan because they can get the fresh-raw chicken necks that I need for our three dogs. We also picked up some rib-eye steaks cut to order, smoked sausage, Italian sweet sausage, baby-back-ribs, goat meat (chunks), rabbit, and soft-shelled crabs (frozen). The variety is amazing, and the pricing is in line with other retail stores (e.g. grocery stores). Their personalized service goes a long way.
