The first time he texted me to cancel due to a family emergency. I figured ok things happen so I gave him another chance. The second time he texted in the morning when he was supposed to be here at 7am and asked to come at 7:45 since he "has 9 kids and isn't really a morning person." I agreed and later received a text that he was en route but would be arriving at 7:51. That time came and went but during that time he was already trying to refer me to a friend of his who is more reliable in the mornings. I did not ask for the referral but he texted me the info anyway. At about 8:15 I asked if he was still coming or not at which point he said not. Then provided me with a few different excuses why not yet he never bothered to say he wasn't coming until I asked. I then informed him that he may want to reevaluate his ability to run a business. Based on my experience I wonder how he was able to manage so many 5 star reviews on other review platforms. He clearly had zero respect for my time as a person and customer. If he actually does well by you that's great, but you may want to schedule in the afternoon since he's not motivated enough to show up for the appointments he makes in the morning.

I should have taken that as a sign on what was to come. I had this monthly service for approximately 10 months, and the reliability was very frustrating. Every other month, I'd receive notification on the day of the service they needed to reschedule because they were too busy. I am reasonable and can work with an occasional reschedule, but every other month? Really? I was made to feel I was a burden and adding to their stress load. That really was unacceptable. And the service was very bare bones with an exterior spray by the owner and his son for 6-8 minutes at a rate consistent with marketplace pricing. I can appreciate a local business, but this place needs to be better. If you're that busy, add to staff so the fabric of your business - the client - doesn't feel like how I felt.
