I had to call AAA to winch my car out of a ditch, and not only was the guy who came out completely…read morecondescending and unprofessional (I was a young female, alone, on the side of the road in the middle of the night in the pouring down rain and cold and he was extremely rude) - but he quoted me almost $400 for the service, since it wasn't covered by AAA. He said the sheriff's office would need to be on scene to block the road, which was fine, but then said they had an "extended ETA" and that it would be better for me if he left and I called AAA later to re-dispatch a tow company once the S.O. arrived. I stayed to wait and the S.O. showed up literally 5 minutes later, confused as to why the tow company wasn't still there, and then they had to wait another 30 minutes with me for another company to be dispatched (on a busy Friday night). The other company that eventually came out, Elite Auto, had a wonderfully polite tow truck driver who only took 15 minutes to get my car out, charged me $75 for the service (as opposed to almost $400), and was like night and day compared to Dusty's. I would NEVER recommend Dusty's in the future - I used to work for Durham 911 on the other side of the phone, dispatching tow companies to accidents, and Durham PD doesn't even use Dusty's on their tow rotation list, for a reason.

Don't normally write reviews, but my car wouldn't start yesterday. Called AAA hoping it was the…read morebattery, they sent someone and it wasn't. I'd just gotten new spark plugs and coils so figured I'd tow it back to the shop where I had the work done - 25 miles away. Dusty's came to tow it but gave a listen to the sounds when we tried to start it, and got the engine to turn over! Saved us time and money, and gifted us a functional car for at least a little longer. They could've towed it, no questions asked, in these strange times of a pandemic to make some money but did us a favor instead. Thank you!!

As a result, the owner of the gas station called to have my car towed off their property which is totally within their right. I ended up having to pay an impound fee to T and W who picked my car up to have it released over to AAA. Alot of people on here and in general are going to roast the tow company but in all honesty they couldnt have been nicer and they are just doing a job and towed my AWD car properly so I am super appreciative of their professionalism.

NC and tow it to another location in Henderson to be fixed. 3 days later they finally show to pick the vehicle up. At the time no one wsd home at the residence. A phone call was made and TW was told payment would be made in person the next day. Verbal agreement made. TW then decided to take the car to their impound lot. Not good business and a way to scam money. I would suggest using a towing company with much more integrity. The better business has been contacted and considering legal representation. I also feel the public needs to be aware of the scamming by this company

Immediately the car was totaled, my boyfriend was only 5 minutes out as y'all towed the vehicle, when neither of us gave permission. We originally asked if it could just get it towed out of traffic(because this happened in the middle of an intersection.) This was my very first car accident, and I never expected to be dragged down so bad by a towing company. If I had to recommend any towing and recovery in Roxboro NC, This is not it. Branns Wrecker service is my recommendation. When we asked to get our items out of the vehicle they told us "fuck off".
