The screen size and sound of the theater was very nice! Seating could use a bit of an upgrade. While semi comfortable, reclining seats would improve the experience. We live in Branson and come here often. Yesterday after I bought my ticket I decided to get a large popcorn and a large soda. $27.00!!! I said did you say $27.00? He said yes, but it's free refills. This didn't include the price of the ticket. Absolutely ridiculous! Never again read more

We usually go to this theater at least twice a year when we visit Branson. It has always been very clean and not crowded, but then we go when kids are in school, so that's probably why it's not crowded. read more

I was concerned about going to this cinema due to some previous experience from other Yelpers. But it was the only place showing the movie we wanted to see. The theater is clean, restroom was clean. Showing room was clean and decent...not great but good. Didn't smell. Staff was helpful. Folks it's not a brand new facility...but it is not a dump! It's adequate for your movie going needs. This theater could definitely use some updating. I've never seen a whole lot of traffic there could be the reason for this. The matinee isn't bad at $6 and some change. I went to see a movie here in January 2013. This was pretty much the only place near where we were staying at Big Cedar Lodge. I ordered a large buttered popcorn, and about halfway through I noticed it tasted strange, like rancid oil, so I stopped eating it. After the movie I started feeling sick while we were shopping, so I headed back to the lodge. I was violently ill for most of the night after that, with vomiting and stomach cramping. I almost had my husband take me to the hospital. The next day I tried repeatedly to call the only number they had listed, but no-one ever picked up. I ended up being sick for 3 days. For locals this is the movie theater that most go to. If you are a tourist in Branson I recommend this move theater. It is the best theater in Branson and you aren't plagued with all the hassle tourists or most of the traffic. read more

This was a small theater in an older shopping center. Not very large screens. Even though it was running first run flicks it seemed more like a dollar theater. However, the popcorn was fresh and the seats were comfortable. I would go back. read more

This theater is not following the Americans with Disabilities Act that is over 2o years old. There were no places for disabled seating except in front of a foot bar but no place for a companion. In addition, they provided NO headsets or hearing devices for the film. There was no way to open the doors if you were in a wheel chair. The parking lot did NOT have spaces in front of the theater and looked liked they had added some spaces in the middle as an after thought. The theater is fairly new so there was no excuse for not providing these services. read more

I just have a couple of complaints about this theater. Number one is the seats. Very uncomfortable. They don't recline and have relatively low backs which means you have to slouch to rest your head on the seat back. They are very outdated. The other complaint was with the popcorn. I have never been to a theater with bad popcorn but this place managed to screw it up. The butter that they put on the popcorn tastes like pure oil. It was nasty and left a oily film on your hands and in your mouth. I had to trade mine in for some with no butter. Other then those 2 things, it was your typical, run-of-the-mill movie theater. Zootopia was out and we didn't want to pay a ton of money to see it, so we decided to go to Branson Meadows for a matinee. The place is not in a hopping part of town, and the theater was pretty deserted (although it wasn't a popular time of year in Branson). The theater was just A-OK. The staff were friendly and all of the prices were average in terms of both the concessions and the tickets ($7.50 for the matinee). The theater could either use some updates or it could use a price reduction if it wants a higher rating. read more

But to me, its run down and it smelled like a rest area bathroom as I walked to the theatre. The price is also more for a less quality place. My reccomendation, go to a different theatre. read more

Let me start by saying that this place does the job. It plays movies... BUT the cons outweigh the pros for sure. This place needs updated in a bad way. The employees are rude every time I go and there are always around 10 if them standing in the lobby doing nothing when the bathrooms are a disaster. The concessions are ungodly expensive.. $7 or $8 for a regular popcorn.. really? And a "combo deal" which is 2 drinks and a large popcorn is $18.50.. That number is pulled straight out of someone's ass. Bring a jacket or blanket, they turn on the A/C in December. read more

I've been here a few times for movies. The price is OK, so it's a popular stop for catching the biggest blockbusters with my younger in-laws, but the theater isn't my favorite. It kind of smells a little weird, and I have a terrible sense of smell. Maybe like the AC is on the verge of musty. It always seems to be a little dirtier than other theaters. The stadiums are small, which isn't a bad thing, and I haven't had an issue with the projector or sound messing up a movie, so there's not really anything to complain about that part of the experience. It's just a place to see what you're dying to see; not a place to really revel in an experience. read more

My husband and I went here to watch Ben-Hur in 3D. The matinee 3D price was $10.15 which is a little higher than I have paid in the past. There was only two people in the whole theatre with us! It was amazing for us, probably not amazing for the theatre's business though. Lol We got a jumbo soda and jumbo popcorn to share which was $12.50. That is the smallest jumbo popcorn I have seen, but at least it came with free refills. Lol. All in all a good experience. read more

This is a pretty basic movie experience, don't go in expecting a stellar atmosphere. I would say they get three stars because they replaced the projectors with new digital units so the picture is awesome in their smaller-design theaters. Basic refreshments, I don't get butter so I can't expound on previous reviews. Elite Three is a nicer spot and also do local discount even though prices are pretty close to the same as Meadows. I really just go for the closer-screen experience. read more

We went to see a movie walked into the theater it smelt like mold, it was more humid than any indoor pool I have ever been in. Told the 16 year old manager he said he'd look into it. Won't go back! Drive to spfd next time to see a movie. read more
