The Showmanship was great. The birds were very cool and nobody got any special deliveries when the flew around the auditorium! The whole show was worth every bit of admission. Although this was on a Monday I felt bad that there were not more tickets sold in the theater. If you love 80s rock this is the show you will want to see.

If shows are your scene, then this venue has a lot of discount and season pass programs. If you lived close enough to take advantage of it then it's a good deal. There's drinks and snacks for purchase but you'll have to deal with the challenging situation of wrangling kids and no cup holders. They have boosters for kids which is good because the gradient of seats is very gradual. I'm an adult and couldn't see a thing over the person in front of me, I missed several parts of the show, so it didn't feel worth the purchase. We watched the pet show. We spent around $200 for a family of six. Couldn't leverage the family pass with mom as a third adult. The first 25 minutes was inviting the audience to tell jokes and going over show rules. I could do without the host's political, gender diversity, pet death and mental health and cognitive jokes in a show meant for kids but I'm not a Midwest native so this might be area normal? It was cringy. I would have picked a different show if I knew ahead with two neuro diverse children. When the pet handler, Valari, conducted the cat and dog show it was very entertaining and he did a good job. The first part lasted eight minutes and later a three minute costume and country themed pet segment, interspersed with the host. Then intermission. I will say thank you for merchandising on stage. I have been to shows where staff walk around and literally put toys in your kids face before you agreed to purchase them creating a frustrating situation. So thanks for not doing that! There was a parrot fly by with beautiful macaws for 1.5 minutes and a husky dog segment for 3.5 minutes. There was a pretty funny parody song of Home with lyrics about car trips and family life. There was fun final cat show for about 7 minutes. It's a good show for little kids albeit a bit long for them to sit. Wouldn't want less of the 25 minutes of pet show in an hour and a half time slot but there are other opportunities to cut back some time.

We saw the live radio show which was being recorded live then it would be broadcasted at a later date. It was interesting to be part of that and the behind-the-scenes for a taping like this. Tickets for this particular show were $10 for adults which was not bad. We sat towards the middle and on the right side. The view was still good and I was still able to see the band and singers perform. The volume was just right and not too loud. I enjoyed the show which lasted about one hour. Come check it out!

When I went to pick up my tickets from the box office the woman was very rude and told me someone made a mistake and charged us for 3 teenage tickets instead of 3 adults. She then increased the amount I owed...DOUBLE what I was quoted. I had a certain amount saved back for this show and when she tried to double it, that's a lot of extra money owed!! I argued with the lady about it and said it's not fair to double my price just because someone here made a mistake. It's not my fault. She was VERY rude and told me if you want to talk to the owner you can, but I can't make change the price. I said I would talk to him, so she told me to come inside. (The ticket both is outside the theater) When I got inside I explained to the owner the situation and he went to the ticket booth and came back and wasn't helpful either. I had a Buy one Get one Half off with the Branson Guest Card, which I told them about when I reserved my seats, and he said even if he honored that I would still owe extra money because we are adults and not teens. I once again told him that I never told them on the phone that we were teens!! He said well let's ask the show producer, who happened to be in the lobby, and she said just charge $10 extra dollars. This is still more than I was quoted, but $10 sounded a whole lot better than twice the price. So I went with it. So...I got back to the hotel and went on a Branson message board site to warn people of the trouble I had, and someone responded from the theater and acted very rude about the situation then. You'd think they would be appologetic, but no...they basically said you never know what people try and pull and they have to be careful not to lose money. At this point I was about ready to cancel my tickets and find a different show....BUT I'm glad I didn't!!! We went to the show not sure at this point what to expect, and it ended up being in my top 3 favorites on this vacation!! The singers and dancers were so much fun and were very talented!! The music was great and there were so many costume changes. I was sitting in the front row and a couple of the guys kept coming down to sing to me...even brought me on stage to dance! I loved the show!! I wish they'd have DVDs available of the show, because I would've bought one for sure!! Just wish I wouldn't have had such a hard time with the box office and the supposed business man behind the show. Oh...I bought a CD of the show music...and it's good, but it is a different cast than the current show cast, and in my opinion the current cast are much better singers than the group on the CD. So...box office and behind the scenes business....1. Show 5!!!! Great show! Just be careful when you're getting your tickets!

Seems as though they have preserved it pretty well. We saw The Carpenters Once More. She sounded so much like Karen and looked a lot like her too. Very enjoyable show. Lots of Christmas songs and lots of favorite other Carpenter songs too. Even a couple guest appearances from "Neil Diamond" too! See it now!!! Rumor that they will be on tour in another year or so. Great music and they rocked the house with music by The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and many more from that era. Brought back wonderful memories of my college days. Turns out, the tickets were for something called "Elite Cimema III" not IMAX. Had to cancel those and buy 4 tickets to see it in actual IMAX, which came to $100 with another non-refundable "administration fee." They should be paying ME $10. I did all the work.
