I did my research and chose Local Laundry on Middle Street. The prices were the best I found although I was not able to get much in the way of reviews about the actual service. Feeling pressured to get the laundry caught up. I called them and they came and picked it up the next day at 11 and returned it two days later again at 11. My clothes smelled great, were folded so well they look like they had been ironed, and my three giant bags of laundry were returned to me into very nicely folded packages. All the socks were matched then wrapped so they stayed together. The T-shirts look like they had just come from the store. Towels, sheets, you name it, perfection! I'm fairly certain that when our situation changes back, we will continue to have some of our laundry done through this company. It certainly has given me a new look on life without laundry! The cherry on top is that the people who work there could not have been nicer.

The washer didn't appear to fill up with much water or dispense much, if any, detergent. I wash in cold and dry on low, always. After drying for 72 minutes the clothes were almost as wet as when they were put in. I raised the temp and left it in for 40 more minutes. Clothes were dry. When folding them I noticed spots all over our shirts and pants! I now have to pretreat, wash and dry all the laundry again at a different location. The lady next to me had spots on her clothes too! They smelt musty after being dried. I hope I can get the spots out and salvage my laundry.

The dryers are the cheapest around too. Usually 25 cents gets you 6 minutes of drying time. These are 25 cents for 8 minutes!! Awesome! It's not the cleanest place, although the guy who does clean it in the early morning does a great job and is wicked friendly. My favorite time to go as it's not super crowded when it first opens but can get packed especially on weekends. You have to put money on a laundry card which isn't my favorite thing. What ever happened to just using quarters? Although, every once in a while you'll put your card in to add money to it and it will tell you that you won a dollar. Cool! Opens at 5 am and closes at midnight. Every day.

One employee walked around and wiped down the tops of the washers where people dripped the soap. They have all sizes of washers available. Their prices seem pretty standard for washing machines and dryers. I WILL definitely come back to do my laundry here again!
