Termites swarmed after treatment and they didnt mention this would happen but I put out bug lights with sticky pads to catch them. Caught a bunch with the pads but some got up in the voids between the cabinets that cant be accessed by spot treatment so there goes over $400 and have to tent anyways. To make it worse, 1 of the retreats they drilled holes in the front of the cabinets when could have easily gone in from the inside, making the cabinets look worse and still with termites. They quoted me over $3k to tent after all that, and got it done with a different company for well under $2k. Don't waste your time or money with guys.

They did $2552 worth of initial work back in July. Now that I'm ready to have the rest of the work done, I can't reach them on the phone - despite a week of calling. I tried emails as well. Probably left 12 messages total over the week. Finally, after I left a message on Yelp, they called me back - and told me they would be at the house on Wednesday morning November 11. I called them and also texted them to confirm the appointment. I had to pull an entire construction crew off the project for the day. And Brothers Environmental never showed up. And they never called me. Or emailed. Or anything. I don't know what's up with them. Perhaps they're out of business - I don't know, they won't return phone calls.

I choose TLS because the tech quoting the job and the customer service person assigned to us, where friendly, knowledgeable, and great with any follow up questions. Scheduling was very easy, 1-2 weeks out, and when they had an earlier opening they called and texted to check if I wanted to stay with the original date or was interested in moving to the earlier date. Install team were great, 2 knowledgeable installers. They took before and after pictures and showed me where there were low points in my current insulation. They spent about almost 2 hours installing blown insulation and cleaning up afterwards. Proving pictures with the invoice and offered multiple paying options: Check, Venmo, and Credit Card. Absolutely no up-charge or fees when used the credit card option. I super pleased to have done my research which allowed me to select this company. What a great experience!

We called out an AC / "Vent Cleaning" service who's tech "cleaned" the vent but spent the majority of the time trying to sell more services. Turns out the light came back on about 6 months later (for a service that should be annual). This time, we called VentSmart. Dryer vents are ALL they do. One price for a vent on the side of the house, another if the dryer vents to the roof. Wayne was super friendly and pleasant. He dispatched Chris in short order. Chris was even friendlier and worked hard to get the job done right. That first "Vent Cleaning" service never checked the roof, just "cleaned" from our air-conditioned laundry room. Chris got up there and removed a HUGE chunk of lint (attached pic), then high-speed brushed from top AND bottom. There was no BS, no trying to sell other services, no surprises with the cost. Just thoroughly cleaned the house vent, the vent in the dryer, and all around the dryer seals. Then cleaned up everything behind him. Professional, super nice, and a very reasonable price. We have caught 15 roof rats since July 2019 on our own before we decided this is not our job. I was tired of hearing the habitrail going on in the morning hours. My job as a buyer requires me to get 3 quotes. I contacted companies thru home buyer, google and yelp. I have to say that Taps and Alex did the most professional job from the start. Formal quote, pictures, at home meeting etc. The others verbal quotes, ceiling figures (you know what I mean, they look up at the ceiling and this is going to cost you...) I had to write them down myself. His estimate was the job. If there was anything else he found it was covered at no additional cost. They really hustled and worked to make sure all the avenues into our home were covered all in one day. Alex was there on the job, not just a boss overseeing the work.
