Brash Coffee is a tiny coffee shop in West Midtown. It's its own building, with a few benches outside. There's actually more space outside than inside. The inside is basically the counter your order. You can't come here to work or study on your laptop. It's place to sit down, drink your coffee and leave. Brash Coffee is like any other cafe. They have coffee and a few baked items. They also have other items like T-shirts, if you want to buy them. They also have 2 sizes for their drinks. It's pretty simple. The people who work there are nice. They seem to know their coffee. The coffee I had was pretty good. I don't know if the barista played some mind tricks because he mentioned all the subtle flavors in the coffee, and I could taste them. It's not bad. read more

Everything you want from a coffee shop packaged in one little shipping container. I honestly can't get over how cool the design of the location is. The interior is bigger than it looks but they sell a surprising number of knick knacks (chemexes, French presses, t-shirts, etc) in addition to their core competency. Also, the coffee is really good. The menu selection is small but any coffee aficionado would be perfectly happy with the offerings. I've also had a cranberry scone there before and it was delicious and made fresh from a local bakery. The only downside is the price, but if you're in the area and you love coffee, it's definitely worth the visit. read more

I am always in search of the next cool hip coffee shop and Brash checks all of the boxes. Cool West Midtown location, check. Cool baristas, check. Uber cool space located inside of two storage containers, check. Cool vibe, check. I met a friend for a coffee and really enjoyed the visit. It's small -- like maybe seats 10 small -- and not in the vibe of set-up-your-Macbook-and-study-all-day cool, but a great place to grab coffee. I had the cortado, half milk and half expresso, I think. Tasted great and had a great chance to really observe the streetscape that Howell Mill has transformed into. (You can also access it through the parking lot next to Star Provisions and take the bridge over. I'd strongly recommend that for folks looking to explore and then grabbing a quick coffee here.) My first time here and I was thoroughly impressed at how compact this cafe was yet still very effective with space! The baristas were super friendly and the drinks were good. There is also a nice display of baked goods I'll definitely be back to try a few. Parking can be difficult if you want a spot directly in front for free. They might have decent coffee, but the staff is super snooty. The first time I went there I had the temerity to ask for decaf and was treated like I had a disease. We t in today and discovered that they now have decaf, but non-fat milk was totally out of the question. They said that the serve a special whole milk and no customer had ever requested skim. Menu is limited to just java. No fancy fru fru pumps of vanilla or a dash of cinnamon. Limited assorted pastries are offered. No waste, no haste. Yet, the simplicity feels gimmicky. Small, modern lil coffee shop. Simplistic. Came in and was greeted by a friendly female. She answered my questions, very pleasant to deal with. Ordered a mocha latte with a peach danish. The latter, great. Was perfectly spiced. The latte, one of the best I have had. The perfect amount of espresso bitterness and mocha make this coffee delightful. This may sound odd but the latte felt as if it was made 'fresh'. Some businesses offer a product. All businesses offer a service whether customer service or otherwise. Disappointed in this place. Went here to get a matcha latte because I heard that it was good. The barista convinced me to get oat milk instead of almond milk. There wasn't anywhere near enough matcha powder. It ended up tasting like oatmeal that had matcha sprinkled on the top of it. Such an awesome concept. Spotted the place while eating at the patio of Yeah! Burger. A converted shipping container that looked oh so chic. After lunch we walked around the area and couldn't help but take a few steps inside. With no line and a no frills menu, we couldn't help but order. Husband got a coffee with milk and it was delish. Aesthetically very adorable. It's located inside a shipping container so the space is small with very limited seating but the big windows make it feel very airy and bright. The coffee is amazing, some of the best I've had and their latte art is on point, but I didn't care for their matcha in the slightest and found it grassy, poorly mixed, and overpriced. This is one of our favorite morning spots, and buy here often living next door. My only ask is that you please make the appetizing and appealing pastries and bagels in your front display case representative of what you actually sell from the back room. I understand that you may want to display your best examples, but my bagel today was half the size of the one on display. I was buying one to take home and share. If the one in the case had been representative of what you were putting in your to-go bag, I would have ordered two rather than one. We enjoyed the bite that we had tho. We'll be back. With Brash Coffee being the closest coffee shop to work, I have gone in on occasion when I need a caffeine boost and I'm short on time. I still stay far away from their iced coffee (have tried it a second time with the same results), but their espresso drinks are tasty. It is a little steep cost wise, but for the location I would say it's fairly priced. If you add a flavor to your espresso drinks still expect to taste mostly the espresso (which I enjoy). This isn't Starbucks where a vanilla latte tastes like vanilla milk with a splash of coffee. If you are looking for "sweet" drinks ask for extra syrup. read more

I love the ambiance of the shop, and can't wait to come here and chill for a little longer! My only suggestion would be to have a trash can available to customers. This place is what you would expect, a small no frills coffee shop with friendly servers. Not alot of room inside maybe 8-10 bar type seats, but cozy. It is located in whats trying to be a quaint up and coming area in ATL. The traffic and construction is a little bit of a turn off though. I ordered just coffee and a hot chocolate. Coffee was a little weak and only two sweetener choices and coming in at just under $8 for smalls, so thats the reason for only 4 stars. I've come to this shipping container coffee shop a number of times now, while either shopping at one of the nearby stores or as the last stop of a weekly group bike ride. I've gotten drip coffee, iced coffee, and cappucinos here. I've also tried some of the pastries from Proof Bakeshop. The bagels are from Emerald City Bagels, but I haven't tried any of those. I think that the coffee is always ok and hits the spot, but Brash doesn't strike me as a destination cafe. I do like how Brash is supportive of the cycling communty and that they deliberately source their coffee beans, though. The small shop also has a few seats and some goods for sale, like a gooseneck kettle with a built in thermometer, cycling jerseys, and coffee beans. We popped in here after lunch yesterday. The service was lacking. It's a very small spot, so a "hey how's it going" in such an intimate space can go a long way. We ordered two iced coffees. Their iced coffee isn't prepared as a cold brew, but rather brewed and poured hot over iced, diluting the flavor and leaving it more on the room temperature side than ice cold due to the majority of the ice melting. My boyfriend liked the flavor, but it just didn't work for me. Overall disappointing, considering it's a super cute spot in a trendy location. read more
