As an avid coffee fan, I can attest the greatness of Brash Coffee. The remarkable simplicity of the coffee shop does not take away from it's gift to the world. The owner works directly with farmers in other countries and brings the coffee beans back with him. So it is definitely a fair trade company. You can taste the difference in the beans too. Their iced coffee is of amazing quality. They also make an amazing vanilla latte. There are only a couple of barstools inside so unless you go during off hours, you probably wont' find a seat, but I would recommend sitting outside on a nice spring/summer day and enjoying the Westside atmosphere. With Revelator, Chattahoochee Coffee Company, and Westside Provisions all within the mile there is high competition, but Brash proves to be one of the best in the area. I feel like all of these different coffee shops serve different purposes and Brash's has a focus on the coffee rather than the decor/atmosphere/food/other drinks. Check it out if you're in the area! In no world should it take almost 30 minutes to get an iced coffee. Ever. I get that it's "crafted" or whatever...but still. If the coffee came out not bitter and actually iced and not just warm, I'd consider giving it another shot. However, to spend 30 minutes waiting for a coffee (no idea why it took so long, btw) and to have it be mediocre was totally a downer. There was just an overall air of pretense I can't get behind. Would I give it another chance? Maybe....if someone else were paying :) read more

Great little coffee shop in west midtown. They roast their own coffee and offer a great selection from central and south america.

This place has the best coffee in the area. It is the real deal. Lotta bootleg coffee shops around which charge way too much and don't do it right. Brash does it right. All the baristas are well trained and make the coffee with care and consistency, very important. The coffee is always hot, tasty, and doesn't vary. The baked goods here are definitely a cut above standard coffee shop fare. They have some of the best bagels in Atlanta, really cool bialys, excellent, fresh brownies, cookies, scones and cakes etc. The staff is friendly and not snooty like most boutique coffee shops. They remember me and my order even though I never snoot around with them. This is a small place with no place to sit except for some stools and a small counter, so it isn't really a wifi hangout like some coffee shops, it is all about the coffee. read more

Small spot- not really a great place for laptops, BUT GREAT FOR COFFEE. The coffee is delicious, I didn't need any sweetener. They only use whole milk- they said its from a small farm in Alabama who treats the cows with a lot of integrity :) I'll be back for sure. read more

Coffee and espresso is great. But muffins and such are waaaay overpriced. Also pretty deceiving how they display massive croissants, muffins, scones and such but have the actual, smaller portions under the counter. I ordered a cinnamon sugar muffin thinking it was this massive muffin (softball size) I saw in the display, the cashier pulled out one the size of a golf ball. $4 for a golf ball sized muffin....ridiculous. Also, I was unable to find any prices on the food before I ordered. read more

Best latte I've had in Atlanta. I live in the area and love having options of two great coffee shops within walking distance. Highly recommend if you're looking for a caffeine while waiting on West Egg. Good catch up place - as mentioned by someone earlier, not someplace I'd plan to stay all day, but a great in and out. read more

No fuss. Modern. Quality. Whenever I get my coffee here, I know that it will be prepared with heart and with quality in mind. The location is perfect for grabbing a cup of coffee and then strolling around the area afterwards (AKA I like to bring my out-of-town friends here to show them how cool the area is with coffee, scenery, and shopping...). There is a free parking deck nearby in the back, or you can try to find 15-minute parking spots along the street. read more

I'm not a huge coffee drinker but I'm a sucker for decor and Instagram opportunities so I had to try Brash. The box is cute and the coffee is good (but as I said before I'm not a coffee connoisseur). They also sell pastries from a local bakery (I want to say proof but not too sure). They have seating outside and it's great to grab a cup and people watch. read more

The staff knows a ton about coffee i learned so much from the barista here. I had the nitro cold brew and it was really smooth and intense. Very minimal seating. Would highly recommend for a coffee to go. read more

The staff was nice and service was quick, but the drip coffee tasted like they needed to descale the coffee maker.

I totally admit that my opinion of this place is still in development before I continue. My friend's latte was pretty great but my almond milk cappuccino was not my favorite. I don't want to attribute what we both thought was a pretty gross drink to the shop, because it's totally possible that the almond milk was the culprit. Based on my friend's drink, I'll definitely give this place another chance sans almond milk and update this review. The place itself is adorable and the barista was very friendly and helpful. I came here a couple weeks ago on a rainy day. I was assuming it was going to be impossible to find seating since from the outside it looked really small but when you walk in, the coffee shop itself it kind of small but right next to it, there's this big common area that I think they share with the company upstairs so that opens up a lot more seating. I can tell the baristas there really know about their product and brand and they were both really friendly. I had a two latte's and the last one he made with a different kind of coffee and I don't remember what it was called but it was SO good. Will definitely come back when I'm on that side of town. read more

Not everyone cafe you could find a bunch of 'coffee people' as regular customers, not to mention three at a time. The barista gave the most detailed description of two espresso currently provided in the shop in my last three months' cafe tour and delivered as said. I'm basing this review on the coffee alone. Not the specialty or custom made drinks. I'm also far from a picky eater. There's nothing I simply refuse to eat/drink. That said, this is THE worst coffee I've ever had. If you like a simple cup of coffee, do not waste your time and money at Brash. I don't know how the Brash folks tasted that coffee and said "yeah let's open shop and sell this." It tastes fruity, it's translucent and has no boldness to it at all. I've had Brash coffee in three separate locations now. At first I thought one place just wasn't making the coffee properly, but no, that's just how their coffee is. If you want an authentic espresso this is the place. Takes a couple of minutes but worth it. Very cool space - converted shipping containers but has an open feel with seating outside. Owner imports his beans directly and it shows. If you are in the westend and need a pick-me-up give Brash a go! read more
