WOW!!! My favorite antique mall ever for sure. I had this place on my list and finally was in the area for dinner so decided to walk it off afterwards with a visit to this shop and wow. We were there for 2hrs and maybe went down a total of 3 rows? That's not even 20% of the mall. Definitely going back!!! So many items, at great prices mind you. You just don't know what you're going to find. I loved it. I don't live close but will definitely make a trip out there again especially since I found a couple restaurants up that way I'd like to go back to again, this could be a thing. If you love antique shopping and you think you'll go back to this place ask them about their memberships. OMG is the very first thing I gotta say. This was the very first antique place we hit up here in arizona. This place came very highly recommend by a local friend who use to got there a lot. Walking in just blows your mind away cause no matter what angle or aisle to looked own it just seems so endless and that it kept going and going. Every nook and cranny was filled top to bottom with so much stuff. You have to make sure you look up as well so you don't miss anything that they have there. Half of the store is in a locked case and the other half is just booths. If you wanna see something in the glass case they have little buttons in each row that you press to let the people who work there to come to you with keys. We were literally here for 3 hours and knew we still didn't see every they had. It is one of those places you could spend a whole day in just to make sure and even then you may not see it all. There's definitely all things to new things for adults and kids, I realized as I walked down some of the aisles to look in the glass case there was a lot of nostalgic things from my childhood. This is one of two locations the other location as an additional 10,000 ft.². This location has over 500 vendors inside of it. My family has been coming here for years and we love it! There's something here for everyone and you can find many hidden gems if you take the time to look around. Most items are inexpensive but then there's items that are expensive. All depends on what you are looking for. The staff is friendly and helpful and their bathrooms are clean and well maintained. My kids are pretty young and can spend a long time here looking through everything and usually leave with some really cool items/toys! read more

We discovered brass armadillo when we first moved here. It was recommended by my son's then girlfriend, now wife. It has anything and everything. It took us 7 hours the first time with a break for lunch in the middle. The staff is courteous and friendly. It's like lots of little shops in one area. Each person has their own booth or glass cabinet. We always find something that we can't live without. They have a shop in Phoenix and Goodyear. Worth a look see. read more

Walking in to the entrance of the brass armadillo I was directed to put my bags over by the checkout station which I had no problem doing considering I just went shopping and had a few bags before the employee could finish his directive another employee walked over interrupted him and told me that they don't even allow bags in the store and that I cannot shop here today I believe that it's because he perceived me as homeless and I have tattoos on my face I felt pre-judged and very unwelcomed in a store that I often like to come in and spend money and now after this situation I don't feel comfortable in the store and don't suggest anyone else to shop here either. read more

Brass Armadillo is by and large, the most gigantic antique mall I have ever been in... bar none. One of my favorite parts? It's about two miles away from the hotel at which I usually stay, right off the Cactus Rd exit from I-17. I would say you'd need two days to really take everything in, and even then, I cannot imagine a human would live long enough to see and acknowledge all that is there. I first discovered this place way back in 2010, and did not realize just how large it is. Several visits later, I realize it. I highly recommend this antique store. Even if money isn't burning a hole in your pocket and you don't buy anything, it's a nice way to kill time. read more

Rude Halloween 'event' experience for this longtime patron. Their Halloween event used to be legendary, complete with pumpkin carving, pizza, cookies and trick or treating along with a sale. It's been our family custom as antique collectors we shop here every month! Our son has been sick for 3 months with C. difficile colitis and not wanting to do anything, but he was looking forward to this event. This year they had 2 employees giving treats , one of which was a curmudgeonly lady that told our shy, sickly son " I'll give you only one treat for 'that' costume!" It ruined our sons evening ( thus ours), but every time I tried to approach her for comment, she was too busy flirting with a gentleman in private conversation. Not a good family outing experience, especially for our family who have been shopping here since their opening in '98! Rude!! read more

Love love love this place! We usually spend a couple of hours here when we come and im always the lager behind, i have to see everything and still not see it all. My ultimate favorite thing to do is look at the teapots, i love to see if i can guess the maker. Always in search of a James Sadler Teapot, can you guess why? The only thing i don't really like is the glass cases, you can't touch the items and when you ring the bell for service, they never come. I generally give up after 5 minutes of waiting then move on, for that, i bring it the stars down to 4. Fun way to spend an afternoon, we will be back! read more

Really disappointed with our visit today. We love this store and were very surprised at the number of customers not wearing masks. We voiced our concerns at checkout and were told it's because management chooses not to enforce the requirement for masks. The two (masked) employees we spoke to were also unhappy with the work environment they've been placed in by their employer and asked us to make it known to management how uncomfortable we felt during our visit. We won't be back until the store takes steps to ensure a safe shopping environment. read more

I love this antique shop. It should be tough to find your favorite ones but there are many dealers and shelves there. Even many stocks or inventories if you would find your target ones you would feel very comfortable with that. I bought Pyrex, Fire King, Fostoria there but still their dealers are adding their items continuously. Whenever I could be there, I could enjoy finding my target items and rare items. Prices should be a little high compared to Goodwill or Savers but we could find cleaner and better ones there. read more

I was scouring Trip Advisor for free or low cost activities in the Phoenix area. Neither my husband or I area knick knack people, but this was a fun place to browse. This place is HUGE. We took a quick trip down each of the aisles, but still spent about 75 minutes browsing. We did pick up a Norman Rockwell magnet for $2. There was a fun assortment of pint glasses, but they were mostly from west coast businesses. I wish we had a place like this back in New York! read more

Love this place! It's like a giant treasure hunt and you never know what you're going to find. My daughter collects crystals and rocks and we found an amazing booth that offers low prices. On another visit I found an item but some of the pieces were coming off. The cashier called the vendor to ask if they would take a discounted offer, and the vendor accepted.
