Stick with the shakes. Priced right. Farr's ice cream. Sandwich experience is disappointing.

Throughout our visit, she remained attentive, professional, and helpful not only to us but to other customers as well. What stood out most was her ability to enforce store policies respectfully and professionally. For example, when addressing a customer who attempted to enter without a shirt, she communicated the store's policy clearly, courteously, and with kindness. She handled the situation with professionalism while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Gina demonstrated exceptional customer service, strong communication skills, and a genuine commitment to helping customers. This was one of the best experiences I have had at a gas station, and her efforts made a lasting positive impression. I highly recommend this location, and Gina deserves recognition for her excellent work.

They have quite a large patio area with additional seating that would make this really appealing in nice weather. Like any cafe they offer a range of coffee drinks as well as ice cream. But there's a full menu with sandwiches, paninis, soups, salads and some special entrees. Also to our surprise they offer beer and wine too. I tried the Korean BBQ Beef Rice Bowl that was one of their special entrees today. It was a filling entree and quite flavorful. Since it was cold outside I also enjoyed a cup of their Rough Rider coffee and our server was quick to refill my cup. Included with your meal is a choice of one of three homemade cookies. I'm also not a fan of being preached too when I go to a restaurant. There were signs everywhere for making people aware of a political party. I think a restaurant main focus should be their food and it should be at place. I should be able to go to without knowing what political beliefs the owners have. It was fun that the meal came with a little cookie.

I went to get a table while my friend ordered for us. I noticed a sign that said no modifications, but figured I'd have her ask if a plain cheeseburger would be okay instead, figuring that's more of an exclusion than a modification. I was just thrilled that they had the option of gluten free bread. The lady behind the counter said that would be fine and that it wouldn't be an issue for it to come plain. Fast forward to us getting our food, and it's an absolutely loaded burger. I don't mean to sound like a stuck up jerk, but I have food allergies that do not let me have those items on a burger!! It felt pretty shady to have the person running the counter say "yes, we can do that" to get our money when it was a flat out lie. So of course, my friend goes up to the counter (it was on her dime, after all) and asks why we were told one thing and given another. The woman running the counter says, "we don't do modifications, she can pick it off herself. We don't do special treatment." This is the same woman who told us that something so simple would be alright. Incredibly poor service, awful customer relations, and I had to throw my burger away after all of it. Not a really great experience at all.

The place has a small town feel and had several customers that are regulars that the staff knew by name. I had a small 8 inch pizza which had a thick crust that I loved because I love bread and carbs more than I should. We waited about a half hour to sit but it didn't feel long. I sat next to the cute bear they have in the waiting area/lobby. SERVICE: The servers there were quick to take our orders! The food did take awhile to come out though. But I get it as it seemed to be understaffed. I wished they had come around a bit more often to check up on us, but there was a lot going on which was definitely out of their control. It just left us waiting a long while. FOOD: The food was yummy! I got the Ranch personal pizza which has ranch dressing as the base, mozzarella, chicken, broccoli, grilled onions, bacon, and tomatoes. It was so hot, crispy, and delicious! Also got a nice side salad to get some greens in. I will be dreaming about the dessert for a long time! We got the Forbidden Apple that has vanilla ice cream rolled in brown sugar oats surrounded by sauteed cinnamon apples. Just amazing!! OVERALL: A cute local spot with lots to offer!

We thought that was very nice to pause for a moment to let your staff go and enjoy a fun activity that was right outside of the restaurant. They were back within a few minutes and they began taking orders. We didn't mind the short wait and we appreciated that the owners knew it was important to give their staff a little break. They have restrooms available for patrons, that are clean and tidy. Parking is in the back and along the street to the north, but nothing is available in the front so be aware of that. Handicap parking is in the back. They have a typical shake shack style menu and a few fun things, including Dole whip, the Disneyland style. They have a classic Bear Lake raspberry shake. You can get fish, burgers, chicken, and even corn dogs. Entrée items are sold separate from things like fries, tater tots, and onion rings. They also have sweet potato fries. We decided to each order a different side so that we could all try each other's. The fries, sweet potato fries and the onion rings are fantastic. Those are what we ordered. You can sit inside of a boat, at a traditional table with chairs, on a bench with a fun wooden hand, carved table, underneath a umbrella and a round table. There are pretty much plenty of options for receiving. They have what they call a sauce bar, which is a collection of different types of sauces for your sides. It's fun to choose a few different ones and taste them all with your sides. We had the Bear Lake Muenster burger, the cheeseburger, a corn dog, and the honey chipotle chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich and the corndog were great. The Muenster burger was pretty good, but the cheeseburger was nothing to write home about - it was undercooked and they used American cheese instead of cheddar cheese, which isn't my favorite and made it a lot more bland. It had hardly any sauce on it And there was only one tomato on. It was a very large sandwich but not a lot of flavor. The buns they use are fantastic but know that they are a softer bun so if you don't like a soft bun you may not like their sandwich, so just get it without a bun and eat it with a fork and knife Items can be made gluten-free, it didn't appear they had anything in term of vegan options other than the sides, but I'm sure they would make something custom. When they took our order, they were extremely friendly and they were very fast when it came to our food getting to us. There is a place to play games in the back that includes cornhole, a giant connect 4 game, and just enjoying the music. The music wasn't something we could hear very well, but it would've been fun to hear it because it seemed to be a good mix. Unfortunately, mostly what we heard the entire time we were there were orders being called over a loudspeaker. So if you don't want to hear the loudspeaker don't sit under the covered area. Overall, this is a fun new, hip beach joint. Great for lunch or stopping after a day on the lake.

Also, I DM'd them to get an idea of what's in the spicy beef. Here you go: Spicy beef. house roasted roast beef, Capicola, american cheese, burrata, house made giardiniera, house made hot sauce, house made aioli, house made chili spread, (that makes the sauce). chopped romaine, toasted hoagie.
