Overall a great stop if you're in the mood for a large sandwich! I was passing through SLC and came…read moreacross a recommendation for this place, and it definitely did not disappoint. They do full-service sit-down and to-go orders and have a wide selection of hot and cold sandwiches, bagels, dessert, other New York/Jewish style deli foods, and beer! Sloppy Joe - 5/5 - A large (1/2 lb) double decker sandwich with pastrami and corned beef. There are 3 layers of bread. The meats are tender and flavorful and blend nicely together with the thousand island dressing and slaw between the layers. It also comes with a side, I picked the potato salad which was good too. Not too much mayo but it was still nice and creamy. I just wish I got a little more potato salad to match the portion size of the sandwich! Potato Latke Pancakes - 4.5/5 - They were nice, hot, and crispy. You get 2 pancakes which have a nice thickness to them too. The flavor was good, I just think you should get more sour cream and apple sauce. It comes with a small cup of each, but its not quite enough for the 2 pancakes and its 50c each to get extra! Matzo Ball Soup - 3/5 - The matzo ball and soup broth both had a good flavor. The proportions were just off however, a huge matzo ball but not enough broth. And the broth didn't have enough of chicken meat and veggies (carrot/celery). I basically had 1/2 the matzo ball left over at the end Attempted Murder Imperial Stout Beer - 5/5 - Its a vanilla cinnamon stout. The flavor is subtle but in a good way! Its not sweet, but has a smooth bitterness and mouthfeel with a slight fragrance of the vanilla cinnamon. If you like stout, def give this a try. Its a strong one too, 10.5% ABV! The restaurant was clean, service was good, and there is a good amount of seating and its decorated nicely inside. Def give this place a try!

A true New York Jewish deli sandwich in Utah. The sandwich was stacked high, packed with flavor,…read moreand exactly what you want when you walk into a place like this. The pickles were fine...nothing special. The fries were cut super thin and fried a bit too much so many of them tasted more like chips than actual fries. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was pleasant. I'd definitely return

I review places with my OAT method:…read more O= Overall experience - I stopped by here on a whim after eating lunch at the Foundry Grill because my friend was craving a drink. It was convenient that it was right next to the other place. A= Appearance - It's a small coffee shop/deli/market. T= Taste - My friend ordered the dirty chai and enjoyed it. I got a double chocolate chip cookie and it was not very good. I did wait a few hours to eat it (not sure if that's on me) but it was pretty crunchy by the time I tried it. I thought microwaving it would soften it and make it better, but that did not help. I also bought Greek green olives from the market for one of my family holiday parties. I was eager to try these and unfortunately these were also a flop.

My favorite things to munch on are the mountain bun (heated up), the whoopie pies, a taproot soda, a steamer, or a sucker! You can't beat the ambiance here if you love an elevated cabin feel. Anytime I'm on a trail near Sundance I'll use it as an excuse to pop in and have a snack.

PSA: come here to cure your lunch hunger!…read more With massive sandwiches churning out of this deli / market duo, it is the perfect spot to swing by during the work day. Head to the back deli upon walking in and you will be asked for your order at the counter. I recommend your first order be a half sandwich - don't be macho like me and think you can handle a whole because you'll be wrestling with it all afternoon and possibly skip dinner. While you wait for the sando, browse the Asian themed market for a unique find, such as a flavor of Lays you've never tried (or seen!) or even a hot sauce from the many they carry. Orders can be taken to go, or eaten outside on one of their many tables. I'll definitely be back soon, they are open for business no doubt about that!

This was #1 on my list thus far. We ordered the Big John Sandwich (half portion) think of this like the ultimate club on a roll. I would add onions next time. Deluxe Sandwich - Ham Turkey and Avocado. Full size. If you're hungry, this is the spot to be. They offered prepacked salads, housemade and international fun flavors of drinks and chips. Coming back from Japan we were craving good ol american deli and this hits the craving! Every box checked. Fast friendly no frills service. They had outdoor sitting as well. Check em out!
