Nice curb appeal every time I walk near place vendôme. Mostly tourists dine here and that should be a clue. I had the avocado toast with smoked salmon and poached egg for starters. The egg needed some salt. For the main entree, I had the scallops in crème with spinach. Not bad. All paired with Sancerre wine. Service ranged from poor to fair. Two servers were constantly out of the service area for their smoke breaks. Affected service.

Cheese burger medium cooked and salmon with steamed veggies....yumzy!!

LC is one place I'd never miss when I'm in Paris. Why? Because it's the only burger I'd eat in the world. I'm not a red meat eater, but I would only fly to LC to eat theirs!! If you like in n out, try LC's, you too will take that next flight to Paris for the hamburger here!! This place is always packed, be sure to come during off hours ONLY or you'll be sorry for that ugly dreaded wait. Another reason I'm always here besides their excellent burger, it's right in the heart of the best Paris shopping district surrounded by the best of the best shops....lol!! I love LC and LC loves me back...always!!

The family came here for dinner on our first night in Paris. It was within walking distance from our hotel and recommended by our concierge. Our server was great! We loved his friendliness and sense of humor. He made great recommendations and really made our whole experience better. The snails, fish and desserts were all outstanding. The prices are on the high side which accounts for the loss of a star.

Awesome place that has a great atmosphere with an outdoor area to overlook the folks walking by, a first level bar, and upstairs restaurant. We actually ate here twice--once for breakfast and once for dinner. Everyone working here is super nice and attentive. Very welcoming and friendly, almost a family feel. When we ate breakfast at the bar, you can tell some locals would start the day there with a quick coffee and croissant. Baskets of croissants and other pastries lined the bar. We had the best of both worlds for savory and sweet. I opted for the eggs with cheese and ham. My wife got the best looking (I didn't eat it though) brioche French toast that I've ever seen. For dinner, we had the truffle risotto and the pasta with ham and truffle. Both were good and not overly rich especially given both had cheese and truffle. It was a nice way to spend our last dinner in Paris. The food is moderately priced. Definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the Vendôme area!

This tok over 45 minutes to be served. Horrible client service .

Found this place walking by. It took 45 minutes of a wait (EXCESSIVE) for avocado & crab. No one , NO ONE comes by to see if there's anything you need . It waitress that that the kitchen have problems but if that was the issue then it should've been disclosed to us as clients. It doesn't take 45 minutes to surf avocado and crab to a table

Avoid!!!!! The food is okay at best, but the service is TERRIBLE, particularly for Americans.

AVOID!!!! The food is mediocre at best, but the service reaches new levels of terrible. Avoid particularly if you are American.

As someone who travels to France regularly I can tell you that this man and this restaurant should be avoided at all costs - they are the definition of evil. We settled into the bar for a quick drink during the afternoon, I quickly ordered a bourbon and my wife was curious about a type of Champagne she had not seen before, and asked for a taste. The server quickly (and quite rudely) said no . . . I assumed there was a language barrier so I asked him in French. The answer was the same, hard no. I then asked for the manager, who came over and repeated this same ignorant answer. We shared my bourbon and left leaving no tip. I asked the man if he was the owner, jokingly, and he shook his head no, I then said - "obviously!" At the casual bistro or brasserie level all the way up to the extreme high-end Michelin starred restaurants, the French are always incredibly warm and kind. In fact, service is something they excel in! This man, his colleague, and the owner should be ashamed.

One of the best meals we had in Paris! Delicious food, and wonderful service. Absolutely go here if you're in the area... if not, make sure to get to the area.

Authentic onion soup, escargot and cappuccino at this cozy spot in the Vendome area. Cheese was a bit too light on the soup but overall perfect cute and high end place for a shopping break.

Excellent cafe in the middle of ultra high end shopping district. A little pricey but worth the location and servers/managers were friendly and very accommodating. Try the escargot and L'Oignon soup for a delicious late lunch at the bar in between purchases at Chanel and Gucci!

The richness of the flavor and the texture which is not reminiscent of the traditional roasted duck or foie gras, but rather a much more like a luxurious and indulgent version. We enjoyed our dinner on the outside of the restaurant after about a 20-30 minute wait. The bone marrow had the best flavor I've experienced for the dish. However, it is definitely overshadowed by the rich flavor of the foie gras. This experience was unforgettable, with our view of Parisian streets on a brisk, April night. We even came back on our last night, but didn't realize the hours on Google maps was for the deli. The restaurant closes earlier, before 9:00 PM. This meal got us thinking about Paris in a positive light, and we hope to be able to come back to eat the amazing dishes again!

As a Chinese, I understood more than 50% of the conservations (Chinese). Which doesn't mean anything about the food. Just observation. Onion soup - 2 stars. First, the cheese failed to emit the baked, melted gruyere cheese, there is no aroma at all. I don't think they used gruyere cheese. May be mozzarella cheese. The worst part was the bread in the soup. It tasted stale which ruin the flavor of the soup. I had to finish without the bread. Escargot - Another disappointment. What made escargots special was the garlic butter and herb. Here, there were the herbs, no garlic, and French is famous with their butter but I taste oil but not buttery. Other places I actually get excited dipping the bread into the garlic butter but not here. Pan seared Foie gras - The quality of Foie Gras was definitely there. It's not as well seared as I hope but they managed to cook it through without overcooking it. The size of Foie Gras is kind of scary, it's like a small piece of rib eye steak. With just the onion soup and Foie Gras, I could barely swallow anything. Generous portion.

There are two tables essentially in the kitchen (a true "Chef's Table" arrangement) and maybe 6 tables in the adjoining room. We were welcomed warmly. Deborah was the hostess and server. Chef Hugo is visible in the kitchen, working very hard to make everything just perfect. They brought bread immediately (my husband loved the sliced baguette--it was perfect and chewy as it should be, but not hard). We ordered a bottle of wine, a Macon Villages, which was perfect. I had the cucumber salad appetizer, which was so fresh. My husband ordered the ravioli appetizer--tiny little rectangles in a scrumptious sauce--a work of art. I ordered the fish and shrimp plate. The sauce was amazing and it was a huge portion of tender white fish. My husband had the lamb with frites. It was nicely seasoned & perfectly done. For dessert, my husband enjoyed a chocolate treat and I had refreshing raspberry sorbet. Deborah was so friendly and solicitous throughout the meal. I have never felt so well taken care of. (I have seen some comments from people who are unhappy that they can't just walk in. They don't appear to understand that there is only one seating. People arrive when they do and they linger. Empty tables seen from the street do not mean the place is not fully booked. Make a reservation well ahead of time. It is worth it!)

We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.
