Be mindful it is a small place with minimal parking. We walked inside and looked all around, my wife jumped to the books to browse (pictures of those can be seen on the Antidote Books listing). She did have lots of time to browse, because they only had one barista taking orders then also making them. This would be the only negative I would have to say of this place, I felt bad that it seemed the worker had too much to do. It resulted in quite a wait and I could see them losing some business during rushes from this. I know the space is small but having someone take orders and one making drinks could help. Despite this I still feel they deserve five stars! I got their Golden Sun Milk Iced Latte and my wife got their Iced Matcha Latte. Both were very tasty, expertly made for sure. Also we were lucky enough to get the very last chai donut, and it had a rose frosting. It tasted like gingerbread because the chai spices, wish we could have had more than one. It isn't the largest used bookstore in town but the owner clearly stocks with an eye for nice or interesting books--it feels bigger because the book selection is higher quality than usual and there is a lot to browse. The owner was very nice and chatted with us about other bookstores in the Pioneer Valley. I will definitely return!

We stopped by Everyone's Books and it's what you would expect out of an independent bookstore. It felt a tad cluttered, yet very welcoming and cozy at the same time, if that even makes sense! The books seemed very diverse, inclusive, and topical - considering current events. I almost picked out a book or two for myself, but then I was like, "hahaha, don't even kid yourself!" There were some "sale" books out on tables in the middle of the store, but as you can expect, you are paying list price for most of these books - which we should be happy to do if we want to hang onto the very few bookstores we have left! After perusing the children's book section for a little bit, I picked out two social justice/awareness books for my kiddo. The register clerk lady was pleasant and quick and we were well on our way. However, like 5 minutes later, I returned back into the store after unsuccessfully hunting down a public restroom, and the sweet register lady said she forgot to give me the store's free bookmark, so it was serendipitous that I showed back up.

We were quite excited to check out this bookstore during our vacation. We had just arrived in our…read morecar with our 13-year-old Labrador Retriever (we planned to take turns in the bookstore with the other hanging out with the dog), when our cellphones let us know that we were under a tornado warning and should take shelter immediately. We had no place to go, so my husband ran in and asked the manager/owner if, given the circumstances, we could take shelter there until the emergency was over. We thought, given the types of folks who tend to run independent bookstores, that question would be a no-brainer. To our stunned amazement, he said no. "Nice" guy. Our everlasting thanks to the employee who ran out into the parking lot and helped us find our way to the local Tractor Supply Company, where we took shelter. We give this place 1 star - zero for the bookstore and its owner and five for the employee, because at least one person in that place has a truly kind heart.
