Braum's is Braum's. Ice cream is good. Burgers are good. Prices are decent. The place was as clean as you can expect it to be. However, today I give a review based on service. Look for Angie... she went out of her way to make my 86 yearold dad and I feel welcome. She noticed I had been working outside all day and when I ordered a shoe with my meal (standard with their combos), she offered a large cup for water and told me I probably need to rehydrate. She took the time to make my dad feel special, and that means a lot. Hard to find people who care AT ALL in fast food places, but she was over and above. Y'all. I'm not even gonna lie to you. Braums used to be my favorite ice cream store to go in and have them custom make your goodies. Maybe I'm old... maybe they are getting lazy. I don't know but I swear I wish I were a secret shopper right about now. So let's see. Nice people, pretty clean, store part looks wonderful. Bathrooms clean. A few tables dirty... that's common. But it's the ice cream line y'all! Like every single time! The scoops are getting smaller and many don't square dip anymore (See Braum's! I know my lingo!) a lady ordered a diet cherry limeade and they still squirted simple syrup in it... like when did they change that rule?! (She may have wanted diet for a reason, like come on y'all!) My hubby ordered a vanilla shake, cause he's boring like that (Ha!) and they put simple syrup in it! I was oh no... honey. He didn't ask for more sugar in his shake! She said well, that's how we are supposed to do it. I said, nope. Milk and ice cream only. Please remake it. After an eye roll, she conformed to my request. But let's talk about me and one of my favorite things. The MIX! Which is what I took a picture of. When I say lazy... this is what I'm talking about. Back in the day, you would order a mix and the whole daggum cup was filled with the topping of your choice. NOW you'd be lucky if you get any location to MIX it up and get 1 out of 5 bites both that (topping) taste. If I wanted a cup of frozen yogurt with topping on top, I would have ordered it. AND it would have been cheaper. So complaint... I always want two toppings... I do NOT want extra. I want you to SPLIT the scoops of topping in two. If it is 4 scoops, I want 2 of 1 and then 2 of the other, to eliminate this extra topping charge. After a full two minutes of explaining...deer in headlights, I just said never mind. AND watched her proceed to do exactly what I explained and still charged me extra. Errrrrr. It's ok. GRACE! The top looks fortified with toppings, literally an inch down from the top, guess what I see? No really... guess. Just yogurt. No MIX up of anything. No toppings integrated in there. When a healthy eating person stops to get ice cream, they have either had a bad day, or it's a cheat day and really really need their cheat food to be done right. Seriously. Write it down. Post it on the employee bathroom stall door. Whatevs. I am just going to quit yogurt and go full fat ice cream and head to DQ for a blizzard. Those things are always blended full out... I just hate to give up yogurt because yet again Braum's has let me down. So, Braum's owners... hire me to be your secret shopper. I have lived in texas for almost 2 years and I can't believe I waited so long to get a burger from here. I was traveling back to anna from Broken Bow and stopped here for a quick bite on the way home. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was So So good! every condiment on the burger had exactly the perfect amount of everything. Exactly the way I would make it. Why have I not been before lol. I ordered a chicken dinner and a bowl of chili. I was really looking forward to the bowl of chili, and when I opened it and tasted it I was very disappointed. The beans were not done. It was cold. It grossed me out because it was so cold. I could not eat it. The chicken dinner was fine, but the fries could've been better. The fries were not very fresh and were hard. The place was not that clean. The drink station was a hot mess, but I did see a young man go over there and start cleaning it up. The service was ok. They weren't overly nice, but they weren't rude either. There was a young man behind the counter on his phone while other employees were somewhat busy. There were a couple of young ladies who were very busy. The chili just really grossed me out. It was like it had never been heated up. Absolute nasty little cow working drive thru tonight. I pull up to drive thru no one in sight... a truck pulls up in other lane places his order.... pulls on through... I am still waiting for any acknowledgement silence... another car pulls in open lane orders pulls thru... still nothing on my lane... third car pulls through other lane, places order, pulls on through.... still no acknowledgement over speaker... I tap my horn to see if maybe it doesn't work... this little heifer pops on her headset and said "did you just honk in my ear?" I said sure did since 3 cars have been through the other lane trying to see if this lane is busted.... that little See You Next Tuesday had the nerve to say "why don't you go over to that lane!".... needless to say I hope she learned a few new words tonight for her vocabulary and learns some manners! read more

I'm not sure what is going on with the establishments in Bonham but every single time we go to both Braums and or McDonald's everything is either the wrong order or it's cold food or on MANY occasions I have bitten into a RAW or extremely undercooked burger. As far as the simple things that you got used to getting in a drive through that's a thing of the past, 9 times out of 10 you WILL not get any napkins and with the crappy burgers they are selling you need a ton of them, The CHILDREN that these places have working couldn't give a rats ass about customers and service, never been rude to them but it's all I can do NOT to say something about it. It's almost habitual to get the wrong order or if I have to modify my order for example I'm allergic to pickles, but the NEVER DO WHATS ASKED . I've spoken with management about these issues and it NEVER gets resolved. It's not ok to do your customers as if they are BOTHERING the employees. Restaurants are ALWAYS dirty and smell , restrooms are ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING I won't even let my kids use those restrooms. Driving from DFW to Pat Mayse and we hit Bonham about lunch time. We were trying to decide between BK and Braum's, thank heavens we stopped at Braum's. I have never seen a Braum's this big. This one had a small market attached to it. Burger was spot on. Really like the fact that you can order a shake instead of syrupy soda and not pay a dime extra. The place was clean, including the restrooms, the service was good, and the food came out pretty quick. Thumbs up. read more

Very dirty inside and trash on the parking lot. Kitchen was dirty. All counters and tables were dirty. The staff was friendly.

My wife and I live in Dallas and we like to spend weekends in Fannin County. We found this Braum's to be a nice laid-back restaurant however it does get quite busy as there is a football stadium nearby. They were not busy when we arrived and the lady at the counter took a fancy to my wife's James Avery charm bracelet ; it was just nice hearing them talk about stuff. Our burgers were wonderful... I just wish that the fries could've been a little bit greasier so that the salt could have stuck to them better! I'm only giving them 4 stars because only 1 of the 2 ketchup dispensers was operational during our noontime meal on a Saturday. Yes.... There is no consistency with the breakfast food. We go every Friday morning, why I do not know. Today we ordered the hasbrowns and they are way over cooked and literally didn't have any egg in my burrito. Food is pretty much always good. My only suggestion is to cook those crinkle fries longer! They are never crispy. The ice cream is dynamite as are the milk shakes. I have never waited so long in a drive thru before in my life! The workers were nice, bit I'm guessing it's way understaffed. I waited over 20 minutes from start to finish. Prices are good but my time isn't worth the savings over going to a faster drive thru. read more

Stopped in for a double cheeseburger as a pit stop for a long drive; a perfect burger just the same as I remembered from 20+ years ago. This place had clean bathrooms, nice fresh market and helpful staff. Plenty of seats for enjoying your meal before enjoying Bonham or getting back on the road. read more

The service was very very slow. A friend and I waited in line for 35 mins for 1 medium shake. We then went to the other line to order a large fry and again waited by the counter for another 20 mins for the order. read more
