lady at front desk was RUDE. everytime we tired to order she would turn away from us and just completely ignore us! but was helping other people that came in after us! another guy had to come over 3 times to help us even though he was busy doing drive thru! she was also rude to an elder lady all over some pennie's! So the Bonham Dairy Queen opened for breakfast recently and after seeing pictures other people posted, I had to stop by and try it for myself I ordered the Big Country breakfast that comes with "3" egg's however you like them cooked, sausage patties or bacon, hash browns, toast or biscuit and gravy. The eggs were just like I like them. The sausage was good, and I can't walk away from crispy bacon and it too did not disappoint. The price if the breakfast... that I couldn't finish was $8.32 with a drink. Are you going to find French toast with flavored syrup or avocado toast, no but a definite plus for breakfast in my book. My rating of a 4 is only because it's not homemade gravy, but it's still good especially when you add sausage to it. read more

Went to drive through and watched while they handed a car 3 cars ahead of us their drinks and blizzards. Instead of sending car to pickup area to wait for food the entire line had to wait 10 minutes. When we finally got to window we were told, oh sorry the chocolate machine is being cleaned.... they should have told you! So not only did they not tell us that the only thing we ordered was not available, they made us wait to find out. There were a minimum of 6 people I counted standing around doing nothing, why didn't they at least send front car to pick up area? Bad enough we had to wait because they were too lazy to walk food out but they were too incompetent to tell us before we waited in line. And I must ask why do they have the ice cream machine shut down at 7 Pm when they are open till 10 Pm! BAD BUSINESS!!! read more

My wife and I were in town for the weekend to escape the hustle and bustle of the metroplex. The area of Dallas where we live does not have a DQ; so when we stumble across one on our travels, we are almost sure to try it out. We chose to use the drive thru and I must say the person taking our order displayed a lot of patience wading through my endless questions about toppings and such. My wife's 3 chili and cheese Hot Dogs and fries were exactly what she needed and my 2 Belt Busters and fries and order of Texas-T Brand tacos were quite satisfying. How quickly it declined :( used to be one of the better ones. This past visit made sure we won't be back. Ordered the special that was on tv , they don't have it nor honor it. Couldn't get out of line and cashier said the "people in front of you are just waiting on ice cream if you don't want to order". Fine except they are in the line and it is a single line. So we went ahead and ordered same thing the special was SUPPOSED TO BE BUT at a much higher price. THEN WE WAITED. AND WAITED. the people "just there for ice cream" just sat and waited on their order that never came. Finally they clearly got angry and drove off. We pull up and the girl comes to the window holding ice cream and says "where'd they go?!" We and the (what we presumed was management) said they finally drove off bc of the wait. The girl shook her head and LAUGHED and made a smart ass comment. Not a word was said. They thought it was funny bc the people had already paid for it. Our food was handed to us and the condiment packs were literally mixed in with the food?! Dirty packets that people have had their hands all over were mixed in with the fries AND LAYING IN THE TACO MEAT AND LETTUCE. WTAF? Seriously , this is how you treat people that pay your wages? Shame on you. We threw the food out once we saw it and went next door. $20 of food trashed bc we saw how little it mattered by watching their reaction up close to the people outrage in front of us. My mum and I stopped here for a quick lunch, but it was anything but. It took 35 minutes for our orders to come out. You would think at that speed, they would get the order right, but you would be surprised. My mum ordered a BLT but was served a hamburger on Texas toast with one measly piece of bacon. I ordered a hamburger without onions, and they messed that up as well. Additionally, service was very slow, with ice creams melting on the counter before they were given to those that ordered them. On another note, for some reason they don't have napkins out, and it was impossible to find a filled ketchup bottle. Finally, a DQ that has butterscotch-dipped cones! My husband has been looking for this treasure for 5 years and we stumbled upon it while camping at a nearby park so it was a pure joy to find this. Unfortunately, it wasn't on their menu so when we drove through, we ordered 2 other items: banana shake (delicious) and a chocolate parfait (very tasty). It wasn't until we saw the marquee that we saw they had this "new item," nectar from above. Yes, we went back in and ordered the dipped cone; worth it. Okay I got two blizzards, one medium Reese and one large Oreo. They have us pull forward to get our things run out to us, which is fine, I don't mind waiting. We finally get the blizzards and they are both so overfilled that the ice cream is above the cup line. There are no lids and no napkins given to us. Employee can't turn them upside down because they're so runny and liquidy. We get them into our car and they're immediately spilling all over, ice cream going all over the seats, all over the floor, all over the center console. I needed about 10 napkins that I had in my car to keep mine contained into the cup. And my husband actually had to get out (to keep from spilling more of the blizzard onto the floor) and we had to put it into a grocery bag that way we could drive home. To top it all off we ended up with two Reese blizzards instead of what we ordered. I went to the Dairy Queen in Bonham Texas on Hwy 121. When I got inside, I was served by this black lady in purple shoes. She was always smiling and greeting customers as if each one was a personal friend. She even opened the door for an elderly couple that were in a wheelchair. They offered her a tip and she refused to take it. This is something that is rarely seen nowadays. On one of the Dairy Queen shirts there was a quote about the customers being "a big dilly." This is the worst Dairy Queen I have ever been to. I've been here several times and they have NEVER got my order correct. My order is a #2 with cheese and mustard only on the burger, that's it. In its place I have gotten a regular #1 with everything, a bacon cheeseburger, and today they have literally put everything they have on the menu on my burger. Well, I didn't think you could mess up a hungry buster. I went to the Bonham Dairy Queen to get me some lunch, what a mistake. I was told that they make their burgers fresh, which is good. So I was thinking my lunch was going to be great, not even close. The fries wasn't ready so I was asked to park up front and someone will bring my order to me. Okay, not a problem I park up front and wait. Well my food arrived..burger was over cooked, everything was hot the pickles,tomatoes and the cheese had melted so bad it was stuck to the paper. Once I set and looked at me receipt I noticed the cashier did not ring up my order correctly so I had to get it corrected but they still brought the wrong food also they charged me extra for sauce that they never brought even after I requested it again. This is my first time to write any kind of review. My daughter and I waited a week before going to our new Dairy Queen in hopes that it was better than rumored. Sad to say we should have waited another few weeks. Several customers left after waiting over 40 minutes for their orders, some got refunds due to orders being wrong or cold when they finally got them, two people had been there 20 minutes waiting on ice cream cones.
