I've been living in Dallas for 18 years now and had no idea Braum's ice cream was this DELICIOUS and CHEAP!!! Yes! Cheap compared to a lot of other gourmet ice cream places with lots of flavors to choose from. I'm a mint chocolate fan and it was dream come true when I saw they had mint and peppermint to choose from!! They also have a mini market as well that carry lots of common grocery items that have affordable prices. LOVED IT!! Staff was very nice and helpful as well. This is the best Braum's in the area... it's incredibly clean the nice thing is that the grocery area is apart from the ice cream/ food area then they have a dining area. This place is far from perfect as the grocery people didn't even acknowledge us as we were grabbing a few items until we checked out. Then we decided to get some ice cream... I got two scoops in a cup (cappuccino chip and chocolate) when I worked my way to the chocolate I was abruptly surprised it was butter pecan... nasty!!! When I brought this to the attention to the manager he was more than accommodating by offering me two more scoops the right way but I insisted only really wanted a single scoop of the chocolate. Stopped in late night after work to have their pimento bacon fried chicken sandwich. I appreciate the fact that braum's Cooks everything made to order. I don't have to worry about it sitting on a warmer or under a heating lamp all day. That is definitely a concern when he gets to be relating to late night food. You have no idea how long the item has been sitting there from dinner time. I try to add vegetables to my food for health purposes. However, they were out of tomatoes. The sandwich took a little bit longer to make than I anticipated, but I was thoroughly glad that it was fresh. It was so hot that I burned myself twice while taking multiple bites. The pimento cheese complimented the fried chicken and bacon well. The bacon, is always crispy and never disappointing. If I had to add anything to make it better it would be the tomato, of course, maybe some heat in the way of spice. That could include a spicy pimento cheese or a spicy chicken breast. Will braum's throw their head into the spicy chicken sandwich wars?!! Appreciate the customer service of the staff that was working. They were very friendly and efficient. I know that everyone wants to go home, as do I. I got off work in Southlake at 10:30 and was at the restaurant at 10:40 to according to my phone. They are supposed to close at 10:45 PM, however they are already closed. Doors are locked, they won't answer the speaker in drive-through and the employees just stare at you. I don't know if it was an employee or another customer standing at the counter with their back to me. I literally wanted to pick up a container of ice cream on my way home, not staying. The food is usually pretty good for fast food, thumbs up for crinkle cut fries! As for most braums it takes a little longer for them to get stuff out to you unless your getting a cone or cup of ice cream or certain sundaes. The service was average, typical summer hires that you can tell don't want to be there but want the paycheck. My complaint is with the shakes themselves. Both my husband and myself took our first respective sips and immediately turned to look at one another in disgust. My husband described it perfectly...our shakes literally tasted like someone had mixed them with dirty hands. It was honestly foul and we immediately threw them away once we got home. Good ice cream and prompt service. However, this place needs some major cleaning. The ceiling fans were not running, and it was hot on July 30th. I looked up at the ceiling fans which were covered in dust. Fake plants were dirty too. The sign out front is extremely dated and could use some paint. I asked my wife, "I wonder if this a franchise?" I googled it, nope all stores are owned by the Braum's Family. So why are others like N FW and Haltom City clean and this one is not? I don't know, but it was day and night compared to the locations I usually frequent. What a great Braum's. The burgers are always fresh and juicy. The fries are always crisp and hot. And of course the ice cream is always cold and fresh. I've never had a bad experience here, and it beats the heck it of any other fast food burger around here with the exception of Whataburger. But Whataburger doesn't have a vast selection if ice cream and its nice to do something different every once in a while. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars for me is because it lacks a drive thru which takes up a little more time when I get it to go for lunch during work days. We were enjoying a Christmas break in Grapevine and decided to eat at this Braums. Bad choice. It was terrible. Filthy and the food was so bad that we only were able to eat a few bites of our meal. The young man that took our order was wearing a filthy apron. It needed to be washed 2 days earlier. Both ketchup containers were so nasty. The soda fountains were also disgusting..it's obviously neither had been cleaned in days, the counters in that area had dried ketchup and bits of food all over them. There was only one sort of clean table available to sit at. The other empty tables had not been cleaned and trash was on the floor. the area where you throw your food trash away was overflowing. Our burgers tasted terrible. Mine tasted like the meat had been used to wipe the floor. Gritty and way overcooked. They had probably set out all day. The only thing that tasted ok were the fries. We couldn't finish even a fourth of the meal so we gathered up the food and threw it away. A young employee attempted to clean tables and sweep the floor. The dirty floor definitely needed to be mopped. I will never eat at Braums again. This experience ruined any thoughts of enjoying another meal at Braums. The manager needs to manage and train his employees better and take care of his store. read more

I was in town visiting, so I'd never been here before. Decided to get a burger and ice cream, and was quite pleased with both. The 4 cheese burger was hot, juicy and loaded with cheese. Very tasty. This is likely the best Braum's I've ever visited. The interior was immaculately clean, which was noticeable even though the building shows signs of age. My order was processed very quickly, to the point where I almost thought that they had been clairvoyant and predicted my request for a bacon cheeseburger with large fry and drink before I even asked and paid for said lunch. I don't think this location has a drive-thru service option, and I think that really benefits the service to the patrons who choose to dine in. Kudos to the franchisee or store manager who runs this Braum's location; I am impressed and will return. read more
