I really don't like sweets. I will have incredibly random cravings for it, but I'm not the guy demanding dessert. Was out doing errands, and a craving hit me. I wanted a Strawberry shake, McDonalds had a line wrapping around nearly nice. Figured I'd live when I saw Andy's. I've heard a lot of praise about this place, so I figured "hey why not, theres no line". I know why there is no line now. I showed up and ordered the Strawberry Oreo Shake. By the time I got to the window the shake was ready. Like literally, I gave my card to pay and was handed my shake before I got my card back. I was shocked. It's just that fast. The shake was fantastic. I don't have a "sweet" palate, so I can't really tell you why they are special. For the first time in over a decade, the spouse asked if I wanted a shake and my response was "Is it from Andy's?" Otherwise I wouldn't do it. Take that for what you will. The menu has a lot of options and unless you're really feeling indulgent, I feel like a size small is just right. This is coming from someone who doesn't have much of a big sweet tooth. So I say! Ha My eyes immediately started searching for peanut butter because we have an affair going on. I also felt in the mood for a hot fudge sundae. AJ's Almond Dinger was the best of both worlds. It was a combo of custard, almonds, peanut butter, heath bar, and hot fudge. Can you say decadent?! The wait was a little on the long side, but there were 2 people manning with walk-up and drive thru service coming in hot. Keep in mind they're also mixing each delight. They have benches where you can sit, wait or enjoy after purchasing under a shaded awning. If you know someone who needs a job, they're hiring for $10 an hour. There was as much mix-in as there was chocolate yogurt... the way I like it. The large isn't that large, but it's so rich, not sure I could handle the sugar rush if it were larger! But nearly $8!?! It was really good, but I can get (about) a 1/2 gallon of Moose Tracks Chocolate Extreme at the grocery store for under $5 and get 3 servings. My brother and I came by here for a quick dessert. It's quite easy to locate and the drive-thru was easy to find and navigate through. Their menu is quite extensive for a small dessert place, which is awesome because there's lots of variety. We both got the regular sized Original Straw-Ana (two of that size came out to around $11) since we think too much alike. The most notable feature is they load it with fruit, which is awesome because lots of places are usually conservative on giving out fruit portions. The custard itself was a creamy vanilla and well made, and the fruit paired very well with it. The portion was a bit more so average sized for the price, but overall, this place is lovely! We love Andy's frozen custard. It's just something we always gravitate to when we feel like eating dessert. There is non very close to our home but this location was very close to our hotel we were staying for the week. The kids usually get their kids sundae with their favorite topping (syrup are 50 cents, regular toppings 70 cents and premium toppings are a dollar. Our kids love to mix it up and change it up from time to time. My favorite drink is their root beer float! So refreshing and still sweet. Just the perfect "dessert drink" for a hot summer day. But actually everything is good on their menu. If you haven't been out here. A must try. Especially to all guests who stay at nearby hotels! So good, soo yummy. Also they provide the best customer service. My little one spilled his ice cream when he tried to clim on the bench with his ice cream. Accidents happen! This place is hands down amazingly great! It is a very simplistic setup going and ordering your custard or sundae or floats. They have an amazing variety of custard ice cream and so many toppings so there is something for everyone. I would go on and on on the toppings and how you can personalize your flavors, so just check out the pics after reading this review or skip to it. Some pics include my past orders from Coke floats to sundaes. I traditionally go with the Andy's banana split or Turtle chocolate banana split, but I tried the butter pecan concrete custard today and nothing short of fantastic. It reminds me of something you did in the 60s or earlier time frame where the setup is very simplistic to you order and stand around eating ice cream, but that was before my time. There are no benches except the concrete sides to sit on, but nothing beats eating Andy's custard ice cream on a Summer day. They do offer a points reward card which the Andy's order taker was nice enough to give me, so make sure you ask if you intend on visiting this place often. I really enjoying going there and getting ice cream whether going through the drive thru or going up the front counter outside and ordering. read more

This place is my new fave whenever I am in the area.. after in out burger or la Madeline. We have gone drive thru twice and could take our time looking over menu since nobody in line. We have gotten the triple chocolate with cookie dough bits and chocklate pieces. It is $4.74 for a small. Also gotten the snowmonster with strawberry and chocolate chip. The recent visit we got the kids vanilla sundae and triple chocolate again. The custard are also good in freezer next day since it is custard so does not crystallized like soft serve. I would say this is better than Freddy's frozen custard and it is close by to plenty of of restaurants. However the price is kind of pricey but get the kids sundae and change up the flavors read more

I love ice cream. So I had to try this place! It was pretty good:-) Will definitely come back since I work in the area. I had Andy's custom concrete. It comes with vanilla custard and your choice of something to add inside and they mix it all together. I chose brownie, it was a pretty good choice. The medium I would say is definitely shareable. If you haven't been through the drive through, there's no speaker to order from, you drive all the way past the menu to the window to order.
