The young blonde worker tonight had the customer service of a 12 year old. Seeing that she was probably 3 years older than that, it's not shocking. I asked for an ice cream with "brownies and a lot of peanut butter." I'm pregnant and this is kinda my go to right now. She said yes ma'am and then grabbed the peanut butter squeeze bottle, which had very little left in it. She looked worried and said "actually I don't think I'm gonna get a lot out of this" and tried squeezing what was left into my ice cream. Not nearly as much as I wanted or asked for, she asked is this good? I said "no please get as much as you can" and she said "I don't think I'm going to get more than that in there. Don't worry I promise it will be real peanut buttery. We have to refill that bottle." At puts it down. I can expect it to not look like the pic but they could've tried. I overlooked it but was concerned that the ice cream used was basic vanilla. I asked the manager if the cookies & cream was used & he confirmed that it was. I got home & cut into it to see that it was basic vanilla instead. So, the manager lied & just gave me a basic cake with cookies when I wanted an 'over the top' cake. I didn't get the cookies & cream ice cream, the chocolate chips or the chips ahoy cookies. Clean, helpful employees - no issue there but I will echo another review someone else left 5 months ago. I got a cone with chocolate ice cream and as she handed it to me, it was already melting and needing napkins. As I was trying to pay, I was having to try to lick to keep up with the melting- I was then offered a cup by the employee. It melted - soupy level - in less than 2 mins. It was super disappointing and certainly defeated the point of getting a cone. It tastes fine but the consistency is not right and not what you want for ice cream. We won't be back to this location, seeing that this issue has been mentioned before and with so many other options in the area. read more

THIS IS FOR THE LOCATION IN FLOWER MOUND! I really do love their ice cream! So much that I always buy a quart. It use to cost me $11 Including all of the toppings I wanted! Which is outrageous to me to pay for some ice cream, but pros and cons aside, at least they filled my ice cream to the top of the container... like it should be. Now it costs me $15 for the same ice cream and I have to be "that customer" that says can you please add more, and it still is never filled to the top. I feel uncomfortable asking that question especially when the manager is around because the employees look scared and I feel like it's bc they get in trouble for doing what's already supposed to be done. My wife placed an order for a birthday cake two days ago. The young girl who helped her stated that she would receive a call from the manager to confirm the order. The call never came, so my wife naturally called back 1.5days later to confirm. A young lady answered the phone and relied the message to the manager, who then called and said the cake is ready for pick up. Perfect. We walked into the location to pick up the LARGE cake she ordered. The owner hands us a cake from the front freezer that said medium on the box and states that it's a large. He continued to repeat that a "medium is a large". Which did not make sense because a large is 1/4 sheet. We settle and just decide to get the cake. He starts to process our order and wanted to charge us $32.99 for the cake. All signage in the store stated that a medium cake with the exact dimensions was $28.99. The cake box even had $28.99 written on it. He then told us that it's $32.99 but if we wanted a second cake then he would "cut us a deal". 1) our order was never placed 2) he kept trying to convince that a medium was a large 3) tried to overcharge us when prices ARE CLEARLY marked ($28.99 was the even marked on the box) DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. read more

Well, the new owners - a husband and wife team - are a breath of fresh air. Combine their great and welcoming attitude with the always great Marble Slab experience and you have a winner. Update: We visited the other day and the owners apparently replaced the texting youth (at least for this visit), the service was stellar and the ice cream was still good So I am adding one star The employees are "pleasant", interested more in going to the back room than dealing with customers.I have noticed this the last 4 or 5 times I have been in. Otherwise the ice cream and treats are darn good! I am thinking after that last visit with three people falling all over themselves to get rid of the customers mid afernoon. It would be money better spent heading over to Albertsons across the parking lot, buying a half gallon of Blue Bell and throwing away the portion not consumed.
