Because of this, I was completely distrusting of roofing companies. In 2023 we found ourselves in need of roofing repair again, because of extensive hail damage. A friend I trust recommended Robert Hamilton at Roofing Done Wright. Robert came to do a free inspection, and unlike my past roofer, did not require me to sign any contracts upfront to get an inspection. I explained to Robert the horrendous experience we had had in the past and warned him of my immense distrust for roofing contractors. He completely understood, and was very patient with explaining how his company was different. In the end, Robert helped navigate and coordinate with my home insurance company, and was prompt on follow-through and updates, and unlike our last experience, the old roof was off, and the new roof was on... in one day. It was so professional. On top of this, we needed some soffit and fascia repair, as well as replacement of all siding on our exterior chimney. Robert provided us with several quotes for repair options. The work was pretty extensive, and Robert's team had it all completed in 2 days. I needed time to get contact info from builder for roofer but needed roof fixed ASAP so call a 3rd party roofer. They inspected my roof, sent me photos and videos explaining why it was not installed properly and fixed it for $1200. I was quoted $3000 to get the drywall damage fixed but figured I would do that repair on my own to the best of my ability. I contacted A&W and they refused to reimburse me since I had a 3rd party look work on the roof. I am not surprised they refused to stand by their work, they got paid to do a fast and cheap job of putting a new roof on a quickly constructed house and would lose money if they actually had to fix their mistakes. I sent them the photos and video showing their work was inadequate and they don't care. It took me more than a week just to get them to finally answer my question about the warranty of their roof, glad I didn't wait on them to come inspect and repair it knowing they did a terrible job the 1st time. I would avoid using these guys for repairs and would refuse to buy a house with a roof installed by them.
