I find it a convenient spot for my cool down treat as it's on the strip right close to the foot of White Rock Pier, Canada's longest. Ask for samples first before you settle on a flavour or two. My favourite for gelato right now is still Bella Gelateria, in Vancouver. Maya's selection of gelato is limited, but 100% worth it especially when it's 35°C / 95F outside. There's plenty of restaurants nearby as well with several fish & chip spots & burger joints. Parking is a challenge along the entire strip, but if you're patient, unlike me, you'll find a spot so worry not. Keep in mind that the strip which runs along the beach, draws heavy traffic. But I let my family member have it since it was going to go to waste. The worker said they were going to charge me for the accidental cone if the other person ate. So either throw it away and they'll take it off the bill or eat it (they weren't going to order soft serve to start) and be charged. So we tossed it because my family member wasn't gonna eat all of it anyways. Either way, a weird back and forth encounter!

I make a point of buying pints from this location now rather than getting non-dairy ice creams from the grocery stores because I love the quality and service I get each time I visit. The crepe was fresh and tender, there was a healthy amount of filling, and the tuna salad was actually mostly tuna with just enough mayo to hold it together which is how I prefer it. Again, the service is just through a window - you actually order at an electronic kiosk and the only interaction with a person is when your order is ready. There are two small tables outside if you want to eat there. It is a small shop with limited seating, so not likely to be a comfie sit down experience for you given how popular the place is, but it is easy food to take to go and a very nice area for a stroll.
