Be careful- this place is addictive! Always hot and fresh and quick, a great price point, they deliver or take out, it's dangerous to live so close! It's a basic pizza/sub/sandwich shop but they have a lot of variety and things always seem very fresh. Sometimes the toppings are a bit sparse and the ordering not consistent, but the flavors are great and they will put extra sauces and things in with no extra charges. Bravo Pizza in Paoli has been a main stay pizza place for as long as I remember, 30 years maybe more. I know they've changed hands / management multiple times. The current team is awesome, always friendly, courteous and on time. Great pizza we always love. HOWEVER - we recently suspected some sketchy charging practices. First there's the 3% fee for credit cards. Ok whatever. But then if you ask for a detailed receipt, it's like asking for a copy of the federal budget. I paid cash last night total was $100.25. Seemed high so I asked for a receipt / they got side tracked couldn't print etc and never got it. I tallied up and realized they overcharged $5 or more. No big deal but sketchy as hell. And it really bums me out because I like them but don't like getting scammed $5-$6 every week while thinking they're my neighborhood friendly weekly pizza order. ‍ read more

Bravo pizza has a little bit of everything!! I had the buffalo chicken pizza. I had a slice, it was heated in a pizza oven and was delicious. The chicken on it was the chicken cheese steak type chicken. The buffalo sauce was excellent! Perfectly spicy and it had a lot of taste! I would order it again. The other person I was with got the Greek cucumber, tomato and herb salad, it was vinegar and oil based. He had been to Bravo many times and knew that salad was a winner. Based on everything we had I'd say everything they serve is probably a winner. Next time I'd like to try the pasta with vodka sauce or one of their homemade chicken dishes! Long time customer here. Bravo used to be my go to spot. Not sure what happened but the quality has slipped dramatically. Today I ordered a large pizza and an order of buffalo wings. When I arrived the pizza was ready but they had forgotten to make the wings. So I waited. By the time I got home, the pizza was cold. It also must of shrunk because the pie truly looked like a medium. (Shrinkage?). Also, the pizza was so dry. It barely had sauce or cheese. The Buffalo wings were also dry, barely had any sauce at all. Not sure if the place is under new management or something else, but this type of experience has been occurring more frequently at Bravo. Ordered pizza and chicken wings through door dash , the cheese was so runny we couldn't even eat it, the wings were packed wrong and so chewy to eat. I believe in supporting the local chain pizzas but this was a disaster. read more

food wasn't bad (ordered cheeseburger platter) - french fries had no seasoning like salt. just not that all the prices on their website and in store menu are over 3 years old. they raised all the prices and never updated menus in the store or on the website. i think it's intentional because they had plenty of time to do this but surprise the customer when they go to cashier to pay. It's OK pizza. Maybe the food is slightly better than two stars. Perhaps 2 1/2 is more like it. But the definition of 2 stars on Yelp is "Meh. I've experienced better." That sums this place up perfectly. As far as price goes, my stuffed buffalo chicken slice, pepperoni slice, and fountain drink at Bravo cost $9.95 with tax. For the record, I can get the same exact order at a nearby local place for $9.58. So perhaps the price point isn't too far off for the area. But, the stuffed buffalo chicken slice at the place that will not be named here out of respect is far meatier and far better than this place. I did like the regular slices of pizza and the service was very friendly. This place isn't bad. It's just not exciting. However, call it a personal pet peeve. If you're going to serve unsweetened iced tea in the fountain, you must have either fresh lemon or lemon juice to serve with it. They did not. Violation! read more

I hate to write this review because we have been going to bravo for years. I have been extremely disappointed with my last probably 5 to 8 orders. It never fails that the order is wrong. Either missing an item... Like a bottle of soda or a sandwich... Or the food is cold... The rolls are hard... There's only enough steak to fill half of a sandwich tho The sandwich roll is about 10 inches long. The pizza is missing the pepperoni... You name that there's always some thing.Anytime we order extra cheese... That's exactly the same as the cheesesteaks they don't have extra cheese. Be prepared when you call to order... If you have a delivery... Be prepared pair to repeat yourself at least three times. Repeat the order three times than you have to repeat your credit card three times. It's very hard to communicate with them and all the other deliveries are nice and quick... I think the deliveries to my house from now on will not be happening. read more

I love the pizza at this place. And for the last 6 years I've used this place as my go-to. But last week I was shocked that the owner informed the manager that he wanted me to leave. And so my go-to place is now Spatola's... hands down. I work down the street and on the day in question our power (and hence, internet) went out. It was lunchtime so I headed to Bravo to get lunch and do work. The place is rarely busy and they have a booth with a power outlet. I was there for a while - granted. But I purchased over $20 worth of food! I refilled my rootbeer about 3 times. (which, if memory serves, costs the store about 10 CENTS a glass). At 3:00 the manager told me that the owner had left and was going to be back soon and if I was still there he was going to "lose it." I tried to explain... and based on what the manager said, I think the owner thought I only ordered a soda and then parked myself down for 3 hours. I get that would be annoying... if it were true. But here's the deal... Starbucks makes way more than Bravo. And is always busier. And a third of the people in there didn't even BUY something there... they are just using the internet. But the kindness comes back to them. Customer loyalty 101 people! (heck... I've actually taken OTHER store's food INTO starbucks... never was asked to leave.) The owner offers free wifi and then complains when someone is using it!? And he also offers free refills.. and then get's made when someone uses THAT? And you didn't ask me to "please only have 2 or 3 refills" ... that would have made sense. You asked me to LEAVE AN EMPTY STORE. NO ONE WAS THERE! That's stupidity. That's bad business. That's one star. Let me know if the ownership changes, then I'll be back. read more

I agree with the other reviewer, the prices here are way too high, $3.16 for a slice of pepperoni pizza. It was decent, but not worth the price. They have a number of calzones and pasta dishes, I tried a pasta dish in here long before I joined Yelp, and it was passable, but I guess either they raised their prices or I forgot how expensive it was! read more

I had been here years ago and remembered liking this. So I stopped back in today to try the pizza again. This is the 3 rd time I have been to one of the Bravo pizzas on the main line. None of them have been any good and one I ended up throwing out. This experience was no different. I ordered two slices, one margarita and one sausage/pepperoni. The pizza crust was oily and burnt on the underside. The slice of margarita was so oily and thin that it fell apart when they put it in the box. The end of the pizza split right off and they did not even fix it. This pizza also went unfinished and was thrown out. My last complaint if you do not have a pizza baked with pepperoni then you do not have a slice of pepperoni. DO NOT take a slice of plain and pepperoni on it. That Does not cook or heat up right. This is not just the worst pizza on the mainline this one of the worst I have ever had. read more

This is my local pizza place and I thoroughly enjoy it. You know you go to a place too much when the restaurant's number is in your phone and they know your family. But, we all have that place we consider a second home. For better or for worse, we enjoy these places as they have become a stable of our existence. Bravo Pizza is that for me. I love the pizza, strombolis and pasta. Especially when I have leftovers, I find that this food is easily cooked up again. What are they thinking with their prices?? If it was best pizza on the mainline it's worth it. But the pizza isn't good enough for what you pay. In a pizza mood and wanted to try someplace different. First timers at Bravo. We walked in and the array of different pastas took our minds away from pizza immediately. Decided on the tortellini Alfredo and hubby the Eggplant Parm. The staff were pleasant. But she went to put the food into a microwave, NO NO please! We were a bit surprised...and asked her to heat it up in the oven instead. While waiting we had a very nice, fresh salad (included) and garlic bread. we were wondering where the pasta platters were and finally got up and asked.....seems they had forgotten them in the ovens and were overdone and inedible. . Not like it was busy, they just were not paying attention. The woman was apologetic and packed us take home portions and added a cookie which was nice. This used to be an excellent spot. Lately they have been messing up with the online orders through both GrubHub and Door Dash. I use these options when I cannot leave my house. The first few times I did not even try to address the issues because they were minor (missing BBQ here, forgot to add extra cheese there). Soon items were made incorrectly or not at all. They will send tartar sauce in lieu of honey mustard. I'll ask for mozzarella fries and they just send plain fries. My husband orders chicken fingers which state they come with fries, he got 3 fingers and no fries. I call and the response is "when do you want to come get it?" No apology. I have to go through GrubHub and Door Dash to get the refunds for missing items. When I have called in an order for pick-up, they still mess up. They must know they didn't do something because I will check the bag then all of a sudden they ask for the order back to add whatever is missing. It's shameful. I ordered a few easy items (cheese steaks and pizza slices) and was told it would be 25 minutes. I get there 30 minutes later and my order is not even started. An older gentleman behind the register gave me attitude when I was explaining what I ordered. They never took my name when I ordered and did not give me a number when I placed the order. I think their pizza is pretty good, I don't agree with some of the other reviews. I get the Margherita and it is spot on. the Pep is a bit greasy, but it's got pepperoni, what do you expect? Their stuffed slices if they have them are pretty good as well, the Cheesesteak and Buffalo are solid favorites. I will agree it is a bit pricey, but I've learned working in the Wayne/Paoli/Devon/Berwyn area this is the home of the 10 dollar lunch, so it's standard for the area. read more

Various selections of sliced pizza's. Unfortunately, the flavorless tomato sauce doesn't do this business any good. I have had better pizza elsewhere. They do have cafeteria style food (spaghetti, lasagna, salads etc). I will try the lasagna next time and report. The establishment does have large TV to watch while eating food. read more

You can get mediocre pizza elsewhere. I went here for lunch and had a slice of pizza, it was fine, and a side Caesar salad which came with wilted lettuce, a few croutons and balsamic dressing. When leaving, the owner stopped me and said I didn't pay for the salad and they need to charge me. Just to be clear, they put all of the food on the tray, gave me a total and then I paid. Not sure how 20 mins later they decided I didn't pay for the salad. They then went looking through the trash for my receipt to make sure that they didn't charge me for the $3 salad. After 5 mins of them insisting on finding the receipt, I gave them $3 cash and walked out while they were still digging through the garbage. They couldn't have handled this any worse. At the point that there is no receipt and the food has been eaten, cut your losses and the $3 salad should be on the house ( if in fact I didn't pay for it). I will never go back there. read more

I'm sitting in Bravo as I type this. I stopped by last week to pick up an Italian Panino for my wife, and even though they didn't have any made, the staff stopped and made me 2 (from scratch), pre-heated them for me so I could warm them the last bit at home. They were perfect. I'm sitting here eating a very large sicilian pepperoni slice that is totally hitting the spot (they even threw on some extra cheesy goodness). I've patronized the place for years and enjoyed their Pizza. But that younger foreign guy working at the Pizza counter is a nightmare. Nasty and spiteful, for no reason. This time the "everything" pizza was really light on the pepperoni and sausage-- the former sliced so thinly you could see through it and the latter in the form of pellets tinier than Grape-nuts. There were plenty of onions and pepper pieces, somewhat undercooked, and a fair amount of mushrooms of the canned variety. The sauce was a bit sparse, the cheese was plentiful and nicely melted but lacked flavor. I loved the thin crust. Love the pizza here! I wish they delivered. Eat in area is great, spacious and clean. They have a variety of other foods there that are great looking but I've never tried. I do a lot of takeout here and they are prompt and reasonable price wise. My only recommendation is I wish they cooked there pizza a bit more. It is pricey. I go there for the Cheesteaks and they are well worth it. Staff is always friendly and usually not a long wait. The kids like their deep dish pizza.
