Stopped in for lunch after a recommendation from a local to the area. They have lots of choices on the menu but have several pies that are ready. I opted for the wings and asked for them crispy. The wings came out steaming hot and perfectly crispy. They were heavily sauced. The wings are a bit larger than I liked them but the flavor was spot on. The heat was good for a medium sauce. I live in Eagle and have to go to Venice to get decent pizza. I live closer and enjoyed their pizza and sandwiches for many years, not realizing how I'd miss them if I moved away. Traveled to PA for our daughter's volleyball tournament and due to rain we decided instead of eating out for a team bonding dinner we would order pizza and hang out by the pool. Based on reviews I wanted to try Venice's pizza. We are a large team and instead of ordering everyone's food and dealing with collecting money I called and spoke to Christopher and asked if he would allow us to order as families, pay for our own meals and delivery one large order. He agreed and just asked that we allowed at least an hour for the food. ALL food for about 12 different families delivered quickly, accurately, hot and good!! Oh I didn't even remember to ask but he made sure we had plenty of plates and napkins! Thankful for the service as Christopher said he would take care of us and did! The dining facilities are nice and as expected in the front room, but what most people don't see is the larger room off to the left that can easily accommodate groups or casual dining. In town for a soccer tournament and the team needed a lunch location to fit 25 people. Venice was very accommodating, and we liked that we could each order and pay when we entered, and then the food was brought to our tables. It's always a mess when trying to separate checks for large parties, so this was a great bonus for us. I forgot to take a picture of my food because we were so hungry. I ordered the grilled honey mustard sandwich that came with fries. Large portion of fries, I couldn't even finish them. My daughter got a kids chicken tender meal which looked like an adult size platter. They have 2 different soda fountains so many options for drinks. Will also provide a small cup for free if you just want water. Our team easily found seating together on one side of the restaurant. The pizza and the Mac and cheese balls were good nothing great but the funnel fries were really good fresh! Ate the pizza first then the funnel fries and you could really taste the oil in them later. One would think, in this time when restaurants are struggling to keep their doors open, they would do all it takes to satisfy their customers. I placed an online order with Venice Pizza & Pasta in Malvern today, and received notification it would be ready for curbside pickup around 5pm. I pulled into the lot at a little after 5pm, and called to let them know I had arrived. I was transferred to voice messaging, and knew I didn't want my call to sit in an message box. A young man was delivering curbside, and when he dropped off food at the car next to mine I asked him if he would check on my order. I sat there while more orders were delivered. It was now 5:25 - way past my pickup time. I called again, and was put on hold. When the young woman came online I asked her how much longer it would be before my order was ready. She checked and told me it was ready. I told her I was unhappy, as I had been sitting outside for 20 minutes - and I had asked the person making curbside deliveries to check on my order 15 minutes earlier. Now, here's where they lost me as a customer: not once was an apology offered. Rather, I was told I should have checked in when I arrived. I told her I called and was transferred to VM. Again, no apology. Instead, she said I should have responded to the text I had received. I explained that I had not received a text, just two emails. She read back my phone number and asked if it was a cell number. When I said it was not, once again - it became MY fault. She said I should have used a cell phone number when ordering online. Even when the young man dropped off my order, no apology. Just, "Here's your food." I was not asking for anything other than the simple acknowledgement that they were sorry the delay had taken place. But, I guess that was asking too much. read more

My last visit here was definitely closer to a 4 star experience. They've raised their game, which is good since competition appears to be increasing in this general area. So I got a hold of a couple of their specialty slices. I went for a chicken parm slice, and a buffalo chicken slice. The chicken parm slice was excellent with some good thick tomato included on it. But let me write about this separately. Now maybe this is happening more often than I realize out there, and I just don't run across it as much. But the buffalo chicken slice included french fries. I'm talking french fries on the darn slice! You know, in general I really don't need french fries on my buffalo chicken pizza slice. I'd have been perfectly happy with just a buffalo chicken slice unadulterated. In fact, I hope sometime that I can actually have an unadulterated buffalo chicken slice here. i'm sure it would be really good on its own. However, if you ever get the opportunity to have a slice of some form of specialty pizza that includes french fries directly on the pizza... DO IT! A gem that my coworkers introduced me to! Venice Pizza & Pasta is one of my favorite places to grab pizza from. Their Specialty Pies are amazing, and so are the regular pies. When I go in for a slice, I always ask for dollops of Ricotta to be added on top, and it is the perfect addition to my pizza! The Holiday is one of my favorite pies. Their fries, calzones, wings, salads, pasta and sandwiches are also fantastic. The churro fires are a wonderful dessert/addition to your meal! I am obsessed with their mozzarella sticks, perfectly crispy outside and gooey on the inside with lots of cheese! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Possibly the hottest lunch spot in Malvern, and for good reason! Venice Pizza is the bomb. They have a frequent buyer card where you get $10 free after 10 purchases (of $10 or more) which is a nice perk for locals. They update their website with their weekly lunch specials, so I can drool over their food from the office. (Major bonus points!) They sell pizza by the slice, the staff is always friendly, and most importantly, they have great food! There are all sorts of specialty pizzas on display when you walk in, as well as a weekly lunch special board. Step up to the counter, pick your pizza or whatever else you'd like, and they'll write your order up. They give you a copy to take to the register where you can pay (and be sure to get your $10 card stamped!) Then just take a seat and they'll bring it right out when it's ready. They also sell their delicious, specialty pizza slices for $1 in the evening (until they sell out). Really disappointed with the food. The fettuccine Alfredo was tasteless. I had to add more seasoning just so my daughter would eat it. The hoagie was not worth 9.00. Only one layer of meat so basically you just get more bread. The meatballs were ok but the sauce was tasteless. Needs a lot more seasoning.
