We also went over the mileage predictions. On moving day, Joseph and Matt showed up with their truck and they busted their asses loading. I had everything pre-staged ready to go in about 40 boxes and they padded wrapped my furniture. They were done in just over an hour. Moving into my new place...just over an hour. Again, my old place although a 2300 sq/ft house had minimalist contents. The great news is Joseph's prediction on time and mileage was spot on and I had no damage to my possessions. One item was my late mothers antique plate - which was packed like a golden egg. They automatically sent 2 guys to move without saying anything, which doubled the cost and they did nothing to rectify. Even though we complained that they took turns moving things (one stood around while the other moved boxes, then they switched over and over throughout the day. They actually stopped and had lunch in between trips and charged us for the time while we were waiting for them to show up. The guys overcharged us by 2 hours by misstating their start and stop times by an hour each, and after complaining to their office, they reluctantly refunded 1 hour. They took apart my office desk and stripped the screws while attempting to reassemble it and left with the advice to "Buy longer screws. That should work." I am a retired and disabled former Plant Mgr, Industrial Engr, IS Mgr, etc. I am not exaggerating - this is a ripoff joint in my opinion and should be avoided at all costs.

They are personable, respectful, professional and smart about the way they move your furniture. They thoughtfully stack furniture in the truck correctly. They take care to make sure that it's protected and they couldn't be nicer about placement or rearranging furniture once moved in. They are also very thoughtful piano movers and carefully consider the care and delicate nature of moving fine acoustic pianos. Even though we only had a mattress and one small sewing table to move from the down stairs they still insisted on padding the stair banisters and spreading out runners. Got the stuff in the truck with four guys and we were ready to roll. At the apartment they even put down runners in the public areas leading to the apartment. His team were super professional and very nice. They got everything set up perfectly and the whole process took 3 hours. Best of all when the team leader called Quinn to get the final bill it was several hundred less than the quote. This guy is an honest man!
