We also went over the mileage predictions. On moving day, Joseph and Matt showed up with their truck and they busted their asses loading. I had everything pre-staged ready to go in about 40 boxes and they padded wrapped my furniture. They were done in just over an hour. Moving into my new place...just over an hour. Again, my old place although a 2300 sq/ft house had minimalist contents. The great news is Joseph's prediction on time and mileage was spot on and I had no damage to my possessions. My sales rep, Jonathan was awesome! Jonathan assisted me with a door-to-door delivery which was awesome! When I called for updates, Mike was dismissive and unprofessional. Instead of apologizing, he kept saying they were "doing the best they could" because it was a busy time of the month. The way he spoke made it feel like I was supposed to be grateful they didn't cancel on me entirely after already being hours late. I asked for some sort of compensation for wasting 3+ hours of my day, and the response was basically that they "couldn't lose money on the move." After the move, I texted Mike again about compensation and he never even responded. I only got a small $20 discount after asking the movers directly. What's even worse is that this company came recommended by a whole group of friends, and after hearing about this experience, none of us plan on using them again. Delays happen. Lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer service is the real issue here.

Their leader had an excellent eye and all of them worked Incredibly hard to safely and quickly move a large number of heavy assorted pieces in sometimes tight corridors with effectively no scuffs or marks on our walls or floors. If you need a mover in the Chicago area, they will get it done expertly! Their rates seemed incredibly reasonable and they actually worked so quickly that they charged less than their estimate as it is billed by the hour!
