Bravo Taco 1250 Garden St., Titusville, FL 32780 3.5 Stars Cruising up to Titusville in the Big Boy Mobile made me remember why I actually do like living here, regardless of the foodie scene, or lack thereof. I do love the ocean. Today, my random name generator directed me to Bravo Taco in Titusville. They have an interesting story that I will get into after the food. A-aron (iykyk) was the counter help for my excursion into this offering of Tex-Mex on the Space Coast. A-aron was engaging, professional and invaluable with his menu knowledge. The New Streak stands at 2! Can we break the current record of 12 consecutive fantastic servers? Only time will tell. Now, back to the job at hand. I asked The Ardent One for one of their Shredded Beef Burritos and one of their new specials, the Bravo Double Crunch Supreme. While waiting for my order, I snapped a few photos of the interior. It was clean, bright and cheery. I really like the outside of the building. The colors are bright, vibrant and inviting. It wasn't long before my order was up, and I retreated to a table and got to work. First up on the Big Boy's reputable palate was the Shredded Beef Burrito. This extensive offering was wrapped in a 13" flour tortilla and packed with shredded beef, rice, beans, lettuce, tomato, onion, cheddar jack, corn, jalapenos and sour cream. The meat was well seasoned and quite enjoyable. All the other ingredients, except for the corn, seemed fresh and were extremely tasty, with just enough jalapenos to give it a nice kick. Next, I turned my attention to the Bravo Double Crunch Supreme. This was touted as a new special added to their menu. I guess management went to Taco Bell and liked their Crunch Wrap? This fun sandwich was packed with beef, beans, Bravo red sauce, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, jalapenos and sour cream. The ingredients are sandwiched between two tostadas, wrapped in a 13" flour tortilla and then grilled. This was far superior to the Taco Bell crud that seems to be at the top of the Mexican food chain in these here parts. Why, I will never know, as it sucks and has nothing in common with Mexican food other than the names of the dishes and some of the ingredients. While driving up here, I passed Shiloh's, which may be the worst north end food joint, and they were packed. Bravo Taco is owned by the same group that owns Third Culture Kitchen and Vine & Olive. These are both 4-star eateries that, if placed anywhere except the Space Coast, would show 5-star skills to people who could appreciate it. However, here? Meh, again, people think Taco Bell is the top of the mountain when it comes to Mexican food. The Big Boy says, "This is the best Tex-Mex in Titusville. I've seen lots of good reviews and had to check this place out for myself. Located right near downtown Titusville, the bright green building will immediately catch your eye. I loved the outside patio that was dog friendly. The inside is really nicely decorated too. They have two kiosk so you can place your own order. I found this machine very easy to navigate. If you are old school they have a cashier too. Let me start by saying the portions are HUGE. I ordered the Bravo Tacos which is 2 crispy tacos wrapped with a queso filled flour tortilla. My husband got a Mexican Pizza and we got a kids meal for our son. The tacos came with chips. We ordered a side of guac to go with it. My husband loved his Mexican pizza. For our son's kids meal he got chicken quesadillas. They give the option to upgrade chips to tots which is so nice. The meal also comes with a drink and icecream!! All for $6.99. That's a great price for kids. They also have a huge hot sauce bar so don't sleep on that. They also have a great vegan menu. My vegan friend joined us and got a Vegan Taco Salad with Paow stek. I tried a bite and found it very delicious. Prices are very fair and the staff is so friendly. For drinks they have lots of options. My husband loved his craft beer from Crooked Can so much he ordered 3. I got a frozen classic Margarita. I noticed on certain days they do bogo Margs so we will have to come back. They also have frozen Jarretos. For dessert I had to get a homemade Chocco Taco!!! Even though I was stuffed I couldn't resist and I'm glad I didn't. I got white chocolate dipped in fruity peoples. I'm a little torn. My husband wanted to try this place so we stopped in and ordered to-go at the kiosk. It lets you choose which toppings you want on your food. I got the Bravo Tacos (hard shell wrapped in cheese-filled soft shell), but you can get seafood on it, just steak, beef, or chicken. I got chicken. It didn't have a lot of chicken for the size of the taco IMO. It doesn't come in just one, so I had to get the meal that has 2 tacos and a side of chips. It was a lot of food for me, but I made my hubby eat my other taco. He had a beef burrito which was pretty huge, too. They don't have to-go cups for the sauce bar, which sucks because one of the sauces spilled all over my taco and made it soggy. I didn't get the chance to go inside because I was in the car with the dog, but my hubby said it was clean. He said the staff was nice, too. read more

Super cute new fast serve taco spot! You place your order at one of the kiosks, take a number and find a seat either inside or outside. Make sure to check out the sauce bar that features about 10 sauces ranging from mild to hot. I haven't ventured too hot cause I'm a chicken but they offer a good variety. On our first visit we tried the tacos of course. Each entree comes with 2 tacos, your choice of protein and chips and salsa. You can choose to upgrade the side to something else for an additional charge. For drinks they offer coke products, frozen Jaritos drinks and frozen margaritas. Sorry kids you have to be 21 or older for the margaritas. For dessert we tried the infamous Choco Taco. They are made to order and you can choose milk or white chocolate. They offer a nut topping or fruity pebbles. These are prettt big so I would recommend sharing one between 2 people. Overall everything was good. The dessert was my least favorite. Parking can be tricky as the lot it's kind of small. They do offer a rewards program to earn free stuff so make sure to sign up for that. read more

First time at bravo taco, was pleasantly surprised at the mains, crunch wrap and burrito both HUGE. At $12 plus a drink and regular side it can't be beat. A few issues however that we had was an old tasting guac we received as a side, little flavor other than lime. The chips were also extremely oily and did not taste like anything other than that oil, both items will be a pass for us in our return trip. Lastly, not really an issue and more of a "hmm" the extra lettuce, onion and tomato I requested for my wrap came on the side, which was fine but I figured when requesting them for my wrap they would be included. I have lost count of how many times we have eaten here. Great food, great service, and customizable options for vegetarians or dietary needs. Also love the hot sauce bar, and I appreciate how accurate the ratings are (as someone who enjoys a tasty mild sauce to the "extra extra hot" options - you will get what the sign says!) I want to go against the grain and say I also really appreciate that this restaurant doesn't skimp on the veggies. I disagree with the reviews saying the meat portions are small. I feel they serve normal meat portions and larger veggie portions - which is healthier! Great restaurant, we take all our guests here and they love it as well! read more

4 stars for a solid Titusville taco spot. When my wife and I were visiting family in Titusville and heard that a new taco spot was opening up over off Garden Street, we were excited to check it out. We headed over both on its opening day and a few days later to find a pretty new looking spot. While this spot is a little lacking in terms of enough parking, inside seating, and bathroom space (solo room per gender is tough for the amount of traffic), the outside area provides a new place to hang out, so my wife sat with the dog as I went inside to order. Rather than order from a register, this venue has you order from kiosk. The software is pretty straightforward to use and includes the venue's wide variety of options. However, I don't really get how this saves on things like labor as there were workers bringing out the food and picking up trays/trash. Guess it is one of those issues that may be worked out in the coming years. On our first visit, I decided to order the fish tacos, while my wife ordered the taco salad. On our second visit, I went with the shrimp tacos and my wife with the chimichanga. We also ordered a couple soft drinks (the venue was still waiting on its liquor license) and a couple desserts each time, including a chaco taco and a churro ice cream. Strangely enough on our initial visit and the second visit, the desserts came out first and pretty soon after ordering. They both tasted quite great (the chaco taco is made in house) and are worth ordering, but it was a little weird eating dessert so early before the meal. Our food came out about 15 minutes later each time and was pretty solid all around. My tacos were a good size and included some tasty tater tots. My wife's taco salad was absolutely enormous and provided several days worth of meals. Overall, Bravo Taco has provided Titusville with a good taco spot. While there are a few kinks and spacing issues that will need to be worked out over time, the venue definitely satisfies. read more

I feel bad leaving this review but I'm hoping that having some feedback will help them improve on some things. First off, the hot sauces at the bar are all delicious and some are actually very spicy. Upon walking in, we weren't greeted and saw that we needed to put our orders in on a computer. I've seen this at other places (Sus Hi for example), not my favorite as it takes way too long that way and if you have a question there is nobody there to help. Maybe they should have someone at the counter, to greet and offer help/suggestions. In my opinion, the kiosk should be second choice, maybe for someone that's in a rush and doesn't want to wait in line. I think placing an order at the register should be first choice. While waiting for our order, I noticed the loud noise from the drink machines and refrigerators. It was not a pleasant noise. It would be nice if the music was a little louder or if they had a couple of TVs to stare at. We decided to sit outside instead. To go outside, you have to walk out the front door and take a left to the patio. We both ordered soft tacos. I preferred the steak over the ground beef. They were pretty inauthentic, which is alright I guess. I didn't think I would ever say this, but the tacos had way too much cheddar cheese, the kind you buy in a block and grate. It would've been nicer if it had queso fresco or Oaxaca cheese. The queso sauce tasted more like Velveeta, which I love, but again inauthentic. It felt like I was having the tacos my mom would have us kids make for ourselves when she wasn't in the mood for cooking. Overall, it wasn't a terrible experience, it was really clean and the food didn't taste awful but it left much to be desired. I would've enjoyed a friendly staff greeting, some music or TVs, and some more authentic ingredients. I probably won't be back unless someone tells me that it's different. read more

They barely had any meat, definitely not huge as the menu says. They would be small in a 6 year olds hand. The price was more than tijuana flats for much less food. Asked for a line for my tea. I would compare this to a lower end Tijuana flats.. the workers were nice, however the food took forever. I ordered a hard and a soft taco. There were only a couple of people ahead of me. My husband and I have tried this 4 times. Tonight, being it. We ordered the (2) taco entrees with sides. We asked for extra beef on 1 of the orders. When we got to open the meals, there were no utensils to eat with the sides, there was so much lettuce, we had to take the lettuce off of the tacos just to see the meat. There was no extra beef. The 2 times before that we went, our orders were completely wrong. No extra beef, the sides were not correct. The first time we went was right after it opened, and it was absolutely awesome. Didn't care for it. Was excited at first to try but was quickly disappointed. Over-priced for what you receive. I definitely did not care for having to use a kiosk while a worker stands there and has to help me and it ends up taking forever and I have a table of people sitting right behind me so I feel like an idiot and pressured to just order and get on with it. I don't use the kiosks that they have at McDonald's, I don't want to use them here. The food was alright. I was curious about the place and finally went in. 10 dollars for 2 tacos, I figured that if they were good, they could be worth that much. I got 2 tacos in a refrigerator-cold raw flour tortilla. Everything inside of them was stone cold including the flavorless meat inside. Being that cold it is most likely breeding bacteria. I will never be back. I complained, and they just repeated the flavorless cold order. It's like a slow Taco Bell, only twice as expensive. Portions are a joke, yellow rice--2 teaspoons in a small dressing cup for 1.50 extra. Any other place is better than this one. read more

Well done Titusville! I came here fairly close to their opening date, therefore there was a bit of a wait (as to be expected). However, the staff was friendly and let everyone entering know of the wait. I ordered 2 ground beef tacos with chips and queso, I always go with something simple when trying a place for the first time! While waiting I browsed their "Hot Sauce Bar" which was conveniently organized from mild to the hottest. While waiting on my meal they continuously checked on me and asked if there was anything they could get me while I waited (refills, etc). When my food arrived and I tried the first bite it made the wait well worth it! They even gave me a free ice cream complimentary for my wait. The only thing I noticed lacking was a trash station with a shelf for napkins, which I would recommend placing next to the sauce bar would be a perfect location and there seemed to be enough room. But do not let that take away from how great the experience was and how friendly and attentive the staff are. I will make a return soon to try the Bravo Taco as well as a homemade Chaco Taco for dessert! I am excited for this new restaurant and will happily be returning! read more
