Usually I want queso but this had such a fresh taste and to me had an old school chunky texture you rarely find. I ate way too many of the complimentary chips and salsa. I ordered the lunch ribeye and the lunch chicken fajitas. The fajitas came out in the traditional sizzling presentation. They tasted as good as they looked with all the fixings. The steak was for later. A lot of time a thin lunch steak does not come out to a medium rare. This was spot on and the steak was juicy and tender. A really good steak! The chicken wasn't much better -- so bland it reminded us of the plain, broiled chicken we make for our dog. Sadly, that's where it ended up. The smash burger looked good -- gooey cheese and decent bun -- but again, no seasoning and no crispy edges. We didn't finish it because it just wasn't worth the calories. On the plus side, prices were reasonable. Maybe it was just an off day in the kitchen, but as a first-time experience, it was a major letdown.
