Coming from California, we didn't expect to find such an authentic Mexican restaurant in Florida, so this place was such a surprise. You can truly taste the difference, the chips and tortillas are made fresh locally and everything tasted authentic. The service was amazing. The owner came by to say hello and check on us, which made the experience welcoming. I think when someone from Arizona visits a Mexican restaurant in Florida, their expectations are kinda low and they expect more of a Cuban fare. However, this place serves carne asada as good as mine, and their birria burrito with consume dipping sauce was very tasty and exceeded our expectations. The salsa verde was so good, we were about to order 16oz to go, for making enchiladas. However, their refried beans tasted canned, and not like Sun Vista, because you can make killer frijoles with that brand. This was more like a can of warm-and-serve Rosarita that you'd get on sale at Food City. If management wants, I'll come in with my can of Sun Vista and refry some in their kitchen, and put em up against theirs for a taste test. read more

Happened to be Taco Tuesday when I stopped in, so got 3 of the asada street tacos for a great deal. They were delicious! A tad dry, so had to ask for some salsa to go on them. The free chips/salsa that come with the meal are decent. Only con is that service was pretty slow. read more

What a beautiful restaurant!!!! We met some friends here who were visiting before their cruise. There were 7 of us and they seated us immediately. The decor in the restaurant was so vibrant and festive! Alejandra was our waitress and she was so awesome. She suggested great things and had them make me a delicious margarita! I got a more expensive tequila and I couldn't really taste it to be honest. The salsa was lacking flavor but the guacamole was so yum! Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food and we even got leftovers. The churros were delightful as there was Dulce de leche inside! I am so glad my yelpers didn't steer me wrong on this one! Cute little place right next to Cocoa beach. You can't judge it from the outside, it's cute inside. As we sat we got chips and salsa to start. We then ordered the corn elote to start off, and the margarita flight. Corn was perfect and came out on the cob, with sticks for ease of eating. The flight was delicious, but a little sweet for my taste. Presentation was fantastic though! We ordered the a burrito and tacos. Flavor was delicious! Monday Margaritas are only $5.00 for their house Margarita, and $6.00 if you want a flavored one (think mango here). The fresh guacamole, which is prepared at your table, is one of the best guacamole's I've had in a long time! I ordered their steak fajitas and they were excellent!! They came out sizzling hot. The red and green peppers, fresh onion, and perfectly cooked steak made for an absolute delicious meal!! Our server was polite, friendly, and always checking on us throughout our meal. Excellent margaritas (Happy Hour 3-6 $5). Happy hour is all week long. Salmon Fiesta was pretty good, wasn't dry but wasn't really pop in your mouth moist. A la carte tacos were on point. Mahi tacos were really good as well. Wife and daughter liked the salsa, I thought it was good but a little runny. Wife also liked the thicker queso. An unexpected stop at Mexico's Grill turned into a delicious experience. Seating is available inside and outside on their large outdoor terrace. We ate inside and were surprised how big the restaurant is! It did not look so big from the outside. I had what a feel is the BEST Chicken Tortilla Soup I've ever had! It hit the spot and was exactly was I needed on the chilly/rainy night. I also had the Chipotle Cream Chicken. I switched the rice and beans for salad. The kitchen sent out Shrimp nachos when I ordered fajita nachos with peppers onions and cheese no beans. Got regular nachos with lettuce tomatoes and sour cream and guacamole, spread pretty much all over it. I asked the server if this was their version of fajita nachos and she said no, they made a mistake. She took it back to the kitchen and they literally threw some cooked tomatoes, peppers and onions on top and brought it back to the table. It looked disgusting and did not even try to prepare what I ordered. I will never go back. The rest of the food except French fries, was just mediocre. Definitely not customer focused. read more

Came to Ron Jon Surf Shop and came across this restaurant on Yelp. Best decision to come. Restaurant is a must to visit and enjoy the food. Each plate was proportionally awesome. The ambiance is perfect and makes you comfortable. Parking is ample, and the selection of food is just what you need to have a satisfying lunch or dinner. You have to try this place. Not crowded either. Margaritas are on sale for $5. But for the small amount of alcohol in them I'd rather order a beer. The taste was good though. The inside of this place reminds me of one of my favorite Mexican restaurants in Hampton Beach, so I was very happy when we walked in. We had lunch here on a Friday afternoon. The waitress was very attentive and greeted us quickly while delivering chips and salsa. We ordered the pulled pork burrito and the street tacos. The pulled pork was really good and the asada in the street tacos. Everything came out within 5 minutes of ordering and was very fresh. I had a spicy margarita that was pretty large for like $9. It was Cinco de Mayo and we were visiting Cocoa Beach. Pulled Yelp and searched for Mexican Food. Mexico's Grill came up and it was close. My first impression was seeing several people enter the restaurant that gave me a good impression. We were seated quickly and a waiter took our drink order. And another waitress gave us some chips and Salas. Chips appeared to be homemade and the Salas tasted great. Not as spicy as I would like but for most of the people it was perfect. I would give the chips and salsa 5 stars We got two entrees Shrimp and Steak Fajitas and a tamale plate. Both entrees had their positives and their negatives. I was told the tamale had a pork filling when eaten separately was ok but within the tamale tasted great 4.5 stars. The steak and shrimp fajitas for two at first didn't seem enough but turned out perfect for us but we did have to request additional tortillas since we were given 4 small corn tortillas. The tortillas appear to be homemade and had great flavor but I do agree the tortillas were the star of the show, not exactly what you want fajitas. I would rate the fajitas 4.5 I also want to say the sides, rice and beans were yummy and the veggies all appeared fresh. 5.0 stars I just want to bring up what I heard from another customer tell the waitress. We went for taco Tuesday and it was amazing. We sat at the bar. They brought us complimentary chips and salsa. It cost $1.99 for a refill. The margaritas are made with wine. They do not have a hard liquor license. I didn't try the margarita. The street tacos are $2. They are topped with cilantro and onion. My favorite was the roasted pork. I also had the carne asada and carnitas. The refried beans for $2.50 were delicious. The small side of white queso for $2 Was amazing. The staff is friendly. I highly recommend this place. read more
