Beef taco and chicken enchilada combo

This place is fantastic! We sat at the bar and Arath was the bartender. He was very attentive and friendly, and he made an excellent margarita! My husband got the Baja burrito, and I got the taco and enchilada combo. The food was super hot, fresh, and delicious! All the staff was also very friendly (especially Arath and his brother, Oslyh), and they all worked well together as a team. We will definitely be coming back again!

All of us enjoying our food and birthday celebration.

Great food, great and great service. Highly recommend. So much fun. Celebrated a birthday, server and other staff were great.

Went with a friend on Wednesday lunch. We were greeted promptly and seated right away. It's a typical Mexican decor bright colors. We were brought a basket of chips and salsa first. Jose was our server, he was very attentive and did an excellent job. We both ordered the chimichanga lunch portion. It came with a Mexican rice and a choice of refried beans or black beans. The chimichangas are just the meat of your choice and cheese. I really appreciate the fact that there were no fillers like rice or beans in them. Overall it was a very enjoyable meal. Just good food reasonably priced.

This is a hidden gem in sleepy little Rockledge, Florida. I have driven by it so many times, and I'm glad I finally stopped by for an early dinner. It was a Friday night, so by the time we left, it was filling up. However, service was still good considering how many customers started flowing in. There were 4 of us, each ordering one of the combination dinners where you can order 1 item (taco, enchilada, chimichanga, burrito, or tamale). 2 of us got the chimichanga, one the taco, and one the enchilada. All of it was excellent. You can either get black beads or refried. I got the black beans, and they were the only thing on my plate that I wasn't thrilled with. They weren't back, just not as delicious as the rice (which was outstanding) and beef taco I ordered. I love how they put the salsa in a little decanter and give each person his/her own little bowl so there's no double dipping. The chips and salsa were delicious, and we received generous amounts of them. I plan to visit again when I'm in the area.

This is a gem in the little town of Rockledge! Friendly and welcoming, I enjoy the Mexican tacos so much!!!

The chips and salsa that we got when we sat down were very good....Nice touch having individual dishes for each diner to serve themselves. As I was told the best queso in Brevard.....well it was flavorful, even a little hint of heat, but the execution in a large flat dish (see picture) made for difficulty scooping or as I like to do...immerse and let the excess drip off then eat...I know why be so particular right? It is my queso and I will eat it as I like. Well, the dish also gave plenty of surface area for the dip to cool. So while there was little heat in the taste there was not much in the actual dip....tepid almost. We ended up not fighting it and mixed it with salsa and that was tasty. Vanessa was on it and very nice. Gave menu hints and told us her favorites....and not the most expensive items either so she either failed up-sell school or is just plain honest....I assume the latter. The timing of the food coming out was a little off with my wife's very large chicken chimichanga coming out with my fajita fixings....a full five minutes until the actual steak and chicken arrived sizzling hot. This is where we got a little disappointed and thus the three stars. Her chicken in her chimichanga was bland...the whole thing was not seasoned. The tomatillo sauce was good as was the cotija cheese on top. But the insides left her and I short for good flavor. She used the pretty good selection of hot sauces to doctor it up and all was not lost. My fajitas were well seasoned, flavorful, and hot. The flour tortillas were perfectly warmed....not dried out like you sometimes get. The fixings were fresh although the guacamole was really green like abnormally green for guac. The beans were also pretty good and I liked the fact they offered black beans instead of refried if I had wanted. I chose the refried. The sweet tea was good and I would avoid the water....it is obviously not filtered. A good meal but not better than some of the others in the county. Worth another try on Taco Tuesday where apparently the prices are great. We will be back. PRO TIP: Veterans they offer a military discount of 10%. Thank you La Marimba Cocina Mexicana

The restaurant itself looked the part and so did the food. ..The atmosphere and presentation of the food were exactly what you'd expect from an authentic Mexican restaurant....Unfortunately, the flavor just wasn't there. We ordered the ceviche..it was lazily slapped together..let's say it's "rustic" style it had about 1oz of tomatoes and a 1/4 of red onion with 3 colossal shrimp cut into chunks in it and a half of avocado for $13. We ordered two kids' enchiladas with rice and beans, a kids' quesadilla, an order of flautas, and a horchata. While everything looked great, almost every dish lacked seasoning and depth of flavor. Ironically, the most flavorful thing we had was the salsa but it came in such a tiny bowl that it was gone after literally four chips. It was about the size of just over a ketchup cup, which wasn't nearly enough for the basket of chips. The horchata was also disappointing. It tasted more like watered-down milk than the rich, cinnamon-flavored drink i was expecting. If you're looking for authentic, bold hispanic flavors, this may leave you disappointed. However, if you're looking for a more diluted, americanized mexican restaurant, this may be exactly what you're looking for. Jonathan's excellent service is the reason this review received 4 stars instead of fewer.

Clean, nice ambiance, prices were very fair too. Please ignore my taco pic as I had to hurry and it was swinging! My personal favorite was the Chicharron taco and it was fried to perfection! It was crispy without losing flavor or juiciness. Just the right amount of spice too. The tinga taco also has as very tasty and the cheese was a bonus. The sangria was flavorful and refreshing; I personally prefer sangria Blanca but this was tasty and not heavy. Just a hint of cinnamon to liven it up. I will try a sit down meal with them and soon! Jamaica and fresca were delicious and genuinely fresh, a must with this kind of food. Though we were not here for a full dinner, we were told the queso fundido was a must try and it was! They sat a charded jalapeno dead center and mixing it all together took it to the next level. The tacos were underwhelming though. I had steak, chicken tinga and chicharron, the chicken tinga blew them away flavor wise. I did like the attention to detail and bite size of the chicharron. The tortilla itself was offputting texture wise. You couldn't fold it without ripping. We are willing to try again, we will see in the future!

Been about a week since I ate here as I recently take the time to contemplate my review. After…read morethis deliberation, I am ready... The TL;DR version of all this is - the place is very good. Simply can't wait to return. The long version says the following: The location is easy to get too, and the inside of the restaurant is visually appealing. Though I do lean towards the beachy, tropical theme of things, this place does it without being kitschy or tacky. Though I expected the inside to have been wholly remodeled since the last restaurant that was a tenant here - it really had not. Instead, they updated the seating, bar, and outside to their taste - which is good, IMHO. I really liked the use of tablets for their menus. This was novel to me as I had never experienced it until I came here. The tablets worked well and even so, you got a feel for how extensive their menu truly is. Food-wise, there were no complaints around the table. I had their pork bowl which not only comes out hot and fresh, but copious - I just couldn't finish it - they piled on the food with what appeared to be wild abandon. My wife had their fajita plate which was massive. That definitely ended up going home with us. Desserts were their flan which had a flavor I had not expected, maybe not to true style, but definitely rich and delicious. No complaints here. Service was not only friendly but patient with us as we had plenty of questions for being our first time here, but it wasn't as attentive as I would have like. I think the waiter was overstretched in tables, but he still did an overall great job with us. In short, the newest Mexican restaurant in the area represents very well, and we are looking forward to our next trip back, hopefully very soon...
