A liked this park a lot until someone tried to kick my small 13 lbs dog. Someone tried to enter with a golden retriever, who clearly is over the 20 pound limit, and my dog got excited and wanted to greet the dog, as did a lot of other dogs. I was on the grass cleaning up my dog's poo and as I was walking back I saw a man try to kick my dog. This man also has a dog that is over the size limit for the small dog park. Obviously, I called out this man for trying to kick my dog and was told by someone else that they don't really follow the small size limit (clearly posted on the fence), it's more on temperament. This man then tried to get everybody to agree that my dog was aggressively barking, but I didn't hear anyone jump on his band wagon. I have seen both the golden retriever and this other man's dog at the park before. About two weeks prior the golden retriever was involved in an incident with a French bulldog. My dog is not an aggressive dog at all. There isn't an ounce of alpha dog in him. He likes to greet the dogs when they come in the park and in this case, there were four or five other dogs also greeting this golden retriever. I don't know why it was my dog this man had a problem with. Anyone who tries to kick a dog who is in no way in any type of confrontation, fight, conflict, harming another dog can't be trusted. read more

Small, but completely fenced and friendly, with poop bags, benches, shade, and water fountains for dogs and people. It's big enough to throw a chuck-it ball from one side to the other, if you aren't a black belt chuck-it master. It is clearly marked for dogs 20 lbs or under, "no exceptions." Occasionally I see a slightly larger dog in there, but people really do respect the smaller dog limit. It is open dawn to dusk, more or less. It's definitely part of the community of the surrounding homes, so I'm sure we'll see the same people frequently, as we go daily. We had a nice dog park and were part of the community where we used to live, so I look forward to that again. My husband says he has seen a little drama, with some out of control dogs, but I think that's the exception, and most people are responsible and enjoy watching the dogs play together. read more

Regarding the Dog Park - My dog loves it here! Only a few things to keep in mind: -Its supposedly has a 20 pound limit, but people still bring big dogs. I am sure this park is great if you have puppies....and I do support places to take them wholeheartedly! This review is for the kiddie play area at the south end of the park. Caregivers need a spot for the little ones to swing/slide/and generally get outside and let-off-steam from the heavily populated surrounding area. I am glad it is here, but this kiddie park is just too small for the number of people who use it. At peak times kids have to wait some time for a spot on their desired play structure. One would think that Toll Brothers would do better for their many condo owners with small children. And then, there is the metal tree! What misguided art director thought of that??? So noisy when the Dublin wind comes up that it is hard to direct your kids, and so sharp it would cut their hands if they touched it. I have disposed of many stray pieces of this ridiculous installation. Why not a real tree...in a park...DUH! read more

This review is strictly for the dog area of the park. My 20lbs dog has alot of fun running around. The pros: - Water fountain for the dogs - Plenty of potty bags to go around - Benches for dog owners to sit on - Perennially green The cons: - A weight limit for the dogs I love dogs of all sizes and I find the weight limit rather stupid. It's a pity that big dog owners can't bring their furry friends into the dog park because a few idiots have issues with their dogs being run over. Seriously? Lighten up. It seems to be the only gated in park in the area. One would think there would be more since we don't want toddlers running off into the street, but no, this is the only one. Having twins makes going to the park super stressful since they always run in opposite directions. I like this park, but it's super small and basic. The toddler side is made for bigger toddlers (2+). No sandbox. It's tanbark not rubber service. 2 swings. My tots do well with it, but it's small. Oh and people walk dogs around the park all the time so you have to keep your kid in a stroller or pick them up (also not so much fun with twins). Given that it's gated in it gets 4 stars, otherwise it would only get 2 starts for just being okay. read more

What can I say....we love our dogs! This place is awesomely equipped with canine water fountain, waste bags, benches, and check this out.... a basket of toys! I love how this is right where I live and everyone knows everyone...well at least the names of the dogs. My Westie Bailey use to be a regular and quite the popular hunk with everyone! Regardless if others are chasing him or not.....he runs like he's training for a marathon. It's hilarious when the small dogs tease the big dogs as they walk around the perimeter of the park. This is a great small dog park. It's clean and the grass is green, not yellow. The dogs are nice and so are their owners. Sometimes people bring in their big dogs which is never a problem because they are always friendly. I bring my own bags in case they've run out. I like to come here on the weekends when there are a lot of dogs out for my dog to socialize with. read more

My family and I just met a lovely young lady who goes by the name Goggles. She's 13 years old and a street artist. She frequents this park and uses chalk to create her masterpieces. She invites other kids to draw with chalk along side her and collects donations to buy more chalk for the community. I was so impressed by this young girl. Shes talented and intelligent. She created a Mike Wazowski within about 5 minutes. If you're in the area on a weekend I highly recommend stopping by to check out Goggles work and maybe make a donation. It is a great park for little dogs. There is a weight limit of 25lbs. which is nice but there are still owners that don't watch their more agressive dogs. So... if you have tiny ones, just keep an eye out. Depending on the time of day there are as many as 15 dogs or more here at once but the park is nice and big so it doesn't feel crowded. They do have poo bags and trash cans which is nice so you don't have to bring your own. They even have a little doggy water fountain. The only downfall is that the water fountain is near the entrance and it makes a muddy mess that you have to walk through no matter the time of year. Overall, 4 stars... it would get one more if the mud mess was fixed and more owners watched after their more agressive dogs. Other than that... this place is great! read more

This is small, but there was grass throughout the whole enclosed area. There wasn't a separate section for large dogs for my 6 month old husky, but the 2 owners in the park said it was ok for me to go in with him. Their smaller dogs were scared to play with my husky, but I can't blame them. There are 3 benches on the left side of the park under trees, but it got hot because of the sun and the shade wasn't adequate enough. There was 1 watering hole for dogs and others have left tupperware bowls to fill for their dogs. I wish they had a separate section for larger dogs...unless I missed it somewhere??? I was there for an hour running around with my dog and then a new owner came in with her dog who ended up being really scared of my husky. At that point I was kicked out. :( I was waiting for my sister to pick me up since she was running errands. I ended up walking around the block. I ended up finding a water fountain and encouraged my husky to jump in. He enjoyed it so much he didn't want to climb back out when my sister came back. I wouldn't come back here again, just because there's no large dog section. read more

My dog loves Bray Commons. We walk here at least once a day and she gets her smelling thrills while walking the circular perimeter sidewalk path. If a big dog comes along, usually owners are nice enough to jump over to a dirt path to avoid dog confrontation. There's a dog park for small dogs, basketball courts, picnic area with grills and tables, a park for kids and a big green grass area. What's not to like? read more

People were Very unfriendly here. A lady even yelled at me twice because I had treats in my pocket that I was using to train my puppy on our walk over to this park, and didn't even use them in the dog park. Very small and people are territorial. read more

Our local park...and not just for the 4-legged friends! There is a huge grassy area, childrens' play area and a great path for pushing a stroller. As a bonus it's never as crowded as Emerald Glen. I come here almost every day w/ my daughter and enjoy seeing the doggies playing in the dog park. There was only one time that a dog made me feel uncomfortable (it was lunging at me through the fence and trying to jump over the fence), but I blame it's behavior on the owner! I just found a spot to sit at at the other end of the park and waited for it to leave! read more

We've been here twice now and both times have been great! The park is quite large for small dogs, which is only what's allowed. My Westie loves to play chase and, given the park's size, it's big enough for him to run about without trampling other dogs, or humans for that matter! The people here are friendly as well. I was greeted by a "regular" who was very welcoming and gave me the scoop on who's who! Overall, the park is pretty clean. I noticed a few droppings that hadn't been cleaned up - you'll find this anywhere you go. There's free potty bags at the entrance for those who have forgotten. And for tired pooches (and people!), there's water fountains as well. Only drawback is there's only a couple benches to sit at, but people come and go so they free up quickly. read more

This place is huge--it's at least 5 times bigger than our old stomping grounds at Drigon Dog Park in Union City. I took my pooch there today after lunch since the sun decided to make an appearance. It's all grass and no obstacle course, which is fine by me because based on my observation, only 0.5% of dogs who come to these parks utilize the course. There's also an airlock type entrance so the little rascals don't unexpectedly escape when another dog is entering/exiting. Unfortunately, Zeus didn't have too many friends to play with. It was like a ghost town, unlike Drigon where you could bet that there was always 2-3 other dogs from 8 am to sunset. I guess everyone who lives in the area is where they should be at this time on a Monday: at work. I'll have to check out the pooch scene one of these weekends. read more

This small dog park is located in the Dublin Ranch Villages, rumor has it that there is also a large dog area somewhere else within the park, but I've never looked for it. This park is awesome! It is a grass park, which the dogs LOVE. It is also a very large area with benches for owners, drinking fountains for people and dogs, and just an overall great layout. My puppy loves coming here. The dogs are always friendly and playful, and all of the owners are just as nice! It really has that small town feel where people actually talk to each other.. what a novel concept. While it is not convenient to home, it is very close to my parent's house, so it makes a great place to let my puppy and my mom's puppy run around and play with other dogs. I will make a special trip here even just for my dog though, as he enjoys it a lot more than the dog park down the street from my house, and he seems to get better exercise here. read more
