This also coincides with their farmer's market. I came here last Thursday to catch "Pop Fiction", a cover band. I arrived at 5:40 PM, 20 minutes before the concert, so I walked around to check out the farmer's market. There are food trucks, fruits, veggies, seafood, pastries, and lots more. The concert is at the Amphitheater, which has a couple tiers of lawn area. Early birds take up the back section and set up their tents and tables. We had a few folder chairs, and brought our own food for a little picnic. "Pop Fiction" was high energy and did a good job with songs from the '70's to today. They were a little pitchy at times, but everyone was just having a good time. As the evening progressed, more people came up front to dance or sway. There's no shade on the lawn, so definitely bring sunscreen and hats. The park itself is huge, but I didn't have time to check it all out. We enjoyed the concert and picnic. We'll probably be back for another one before the summer is done.

There was excitement coming from the park and waterpark. There were tons of local vendors. I truly enjoyed all the sampling at the farmers market. One for small dogs and one for large dogs, Lola is a big girl so she gets to play in the spacious large dog park. The park has shaded bench seats for owners to sit. However, I walk the field to keep an eye on my girl. There are two water fountains for the dogs and poo bags are also provided. Unfortunately there are still dog owners who don't pick up after their pets. So watch your step. The field is covered with small bark so probably a good idea to wear closed toe shoes. Be prepared to take home a dirty but happy dog

No bags in dispensers; bring your own if you prefer to use bags - nice trees in the park - seating areas for humans - clean - lots of people walking around, riding bikes next to the park Cons: - no grass (I know this is a preference thing) - large electric tower thing (see pics) in the middle of the park (it is surrounded by a fence) - nothing to separate large dogs and small dogs. Since was here alone, I couldn't tell which side was the small dog side, so we walked around everywhere lol I am sure it'll be fun when more dogs come around. This park has a total of 6 Pickelball courts with a nice paddle rack system to keep everyone spots for the next open court. The courts are well kept, clean, and nets are nice and tight. The weekends have alot of people about 40 today at 9am, but rotating and open courts pop up in about 5 mins wait. Downside, no formal parking lot, which is a little difficult for residents as only street parking is available.

If you want to learn, there are instructors who teach there or join Tri Valley Pickleball Club for a nominal fee and attend some clinics. They are well run and friendly. Overall, it's a very peaceful, pleasant park with a good size open field to play football or frisbee. Street Parking is pretty easy. I don't take my dogs to run off leash here...... it's usually pretty busy. I just go for pickleball and love the community there.

Since there are SO MANY play areas and structures to explore and enjoy, I have never heard her say she is bored. Our daughter can exist here for hours with snacks and water at hand. Kids are ALWAYS here so it is easy to find a playmate, if needed, for the day. There are restrooms directly behind the big play area with multiple stalls. It is well maintained and usually stocked. There are lots of benches, both with and without backs, surrounding the various play areas. There are numerous hammocks surrounding the park (closest to the swing area).. Be careful not to get too relaxed and misplace your lil one(s). It gets pretty hot out here and with the absence of shaded benches, bring a blanket to sit beneath a tree or an awning and chairs if you're fancy. Parking is directly outside the park. With ample parking it is difficult to not find a spot. During summer months it gets a little harder do arrive early. A grass area separates play from parking. There are plenty of bike racks as well. If you do not feel like driving the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station is a 12 minute walk away. If we ever explored this option I would have to bring a wagon. After play I doubt our little one would want to trek the journey. There are very few food options nearby so definitely come with snacks and drinks. There are working water fountains throughout the park (not refill stations). Come, enjoy! You can make a day of play here without spending a dime.
