I ended up driving out here to check out the outdoor market which I came across on Instagram (which had some cool finds as well). But going inside had so many fun vendor stalls! Whether you are into home decor, vintage collections, or other tchotchkes, this should be a place you add to your list to check out. While I came here today with my 3 year old, this is definitely a spot I can (and will) come back to explore solo with an iced coffee in hand so I can take my sweet time to really take in all the nooks and crannies of this market. Plus, they have a little cafe inside if you find yourself working up a thirst or appetite from indulging in some retail therapy. While there were several things I would have liked to purchase I narrowed it down to a cute framed painting of a ghost reading a book, but I'm sure my next visit I'll manage to purchase quite a few items.

It shed fibers everywhere, and the fibers pulled out after routine vacuuming. I returned the rug within the stated return window and had my original receipt. After inspecting it, the store manager acknowledged that the rug appeared to be defective, yet I was still told that the store could not issue a refund. To make matters worse, this rug was extremely large and very heavy. I had to drag it into the store myself, and I was caught in the rain while bringing it inside. Instead of showing understanding, the manager complained that the rug was wet while I too was standing there dripping and explained it was raining outside. That interaction made an already frustrating experience even more disappointing. A customer who returns a defective product with a valid receipt, within the published return window, should not have to struggle physically to bring the item back only to be denied a refund after the defect is acknowledged. Standing behind defective merchandise is a basic part of good customer service. This experience has seriously damaged my confidence in shopping here. I hope the company reevaluates its policy and gives store managers the authority to resolve situations involving defective products fairly.

Theres even a cafe in the back that I hear tell the food is the bomb!! When I went in, the owner of the booth next to the Painted Bloom helped me find it. Her name is Gayle and her booth is the Southern Nest. She was VERY sweet to me. Unfortunately I did not have time to visit her booth today, but I plan to. The owner of the Painted Bloom, Debbie, is the sweetest human one can encounter and with such a giving spirit. I think everyone who meets her probably loves her. Now, as for these candles, oh but HUN, everything is LUX. The packaging, smell, burn quality, annnnndddd I'm finna have a cute lil wood dough bowl at the end of a very long burning day!
