Although from the outside it looks like a small boutique, inside is actually a VAST treasure trove of bras (from hot little numbers you'd wear for your honey bunch to functional shapers & nursing bras), undies & lingerie in a truly astounding array of sizes - oh, and I can't forget to mention the rocking chair & changing table too!! I am a very difficult size to buy "off the rack", so when I walked in to find a new nursing bra, I was sure that they would laugh me out of the store (as in, "HA! You expect us to have *that* size?!? Here?!? Hahahahaha!!"). I was so incredibly surprised when Anina, the fabulous owner of the store came up with not just one or two but SEVERAL options for me to try out. She worked tirelessly to ensure I had a good fit and would be happy with the product, and when I left I felt like a new woman. I really love this store. The owner, Anina, is just as helpful as you could ever want. She will spend tons of time helping you get just the right fit, and she never makes you feel rushed or pressured into buying anything. If you have never been properly fitted before (most women haven't), let Anina help you find the best bra for your body. She'll make sure you look and feel great! The prices here are good, too -- things are slightly less expensive overall compared with Town Shop and other similar stores. I was so impressed with Brazen and Anina's service that I convinced my pregnant friend to come in from Queens and get fitted for bras and learn about nursing bras. I always enjoy coming to brazen lingerie in inwood on 212th and broadway. If you need some decent lingerie with quality, here's the place to go!!!. I brought a bra over a year ago and it is still in same shap. Not to mention the affordable prices. There are no stores in the area that have the items available here. Also the salesperson will allow you to try certain things over your underwear to reassure it fits well before you buy , whereas others stores prohibit. You also get free tips on how to make your bra last longer than usual. She also has maternity bras and a variety of stockings and sheek sleepwear and lacy stocking for that special someone also a wide selection of panties as well. You will get full attention. Based on reviews I decided to stop in to find some things for my wedding night and honeymoon. Anina (the owner) did not let me lift a finger and graciously picked out some cute pieces for me, hanging them up in the fitting room and checking back to see if I needed anything. I ended up taking everything she chose for me and I loved the whole experience. Anina seemed to take one look at me and know exactly what I was looking for. She offered lots of advice on many things and made me feel like a valued customer. I took my VERY pregnant self from Queens all the way to Washington heights just to get appropriately fitted for a much needed nursing bra. I made this trip based on other mom's word of mouth! Not only was the owner, Anina, extremely helpful with the fitting, she also took the time out to give me some wonderful nursing tips using the doll she had in store :) The selection of bras was wonderful and I was able to find a cute nursing nightie as well. The shop owner Anina is really knowledgeable about all things undergarment and will shower you with all the personal attention any narcissist could desire.
