Amazing customer service, amazing workmanship! Above and beyond expectations. Couldn't be happier with this company and crew. They removed tree roots, cleaned , re-sanded and sealed the pavers. They brought our beautiful pavers back to life! Thank you!

I had got pavers in my backyard 9 years ago by Brazilian pavers and they did a fantastic job. I got a letter from them last month about resealing the pavers to get the new/wet look. The price quoted was very reasonable. Emilio came to look at it before I signed paperwork. Explained how the roots of the tree in the backyard is lifting up the pavers making it uneven. Some had sunken in and they lost the color looked faded. This is expected wear and tear due to the harsh Vegas heat. On the day of the job, his 2 men arrived at the dot of time. Worked so hard, dug up and cut the root of the tree, evened the pavers, power washed, next day came and sealed them, and finally applied the coat. He didn't charge me extra for cutting the tree roots. I couldn't be more satisfied. Highly recommend this company.

Delamination due to sealing while wet.

We contracted Brazilian Pavers in April 2023 to remove our concrete patio, pool coping and replace with pavers. They were also contracted to build a 30' long pony wall. The job took approximately 3 weeks using 3-4 workers daily. For the most part, the workers did a good job. Showed up on time and worked steady. First issue - Pony Wall backfill. No attempt was made to fill behind the pony wall in order to stabilize the work. After much discussion, I had to hold final payment until the owner, Alan (more on him later), finally agreed to finish it the right way. No reputable company builds a pony wall without backfilling it. Second issue - The sealer. My suggestion is to either not waste your money on this or hire a company that specializes in paver sealing. After the pavers were installed, the area was pressure washed in preperation for the sealer. They returned the next day to apply the sealer. First, be aware that they use a water based sealer that requires several coats to be applied (per the instructions on the container). They applied the first coat using a sprayer. No attempt was made to "roll out" after spraying for an even coat (the proper way). Although the directions indicate to wait 24 hours between coats, another coat was applied immediately after the first (mistake 1). A couple of months later (June/July) we noticed that the sand used in the paver joints was washing away. We also noticed that the pavers didn't look as if they had been sealed. The sealer was basically completely absorbed and looked like no sealer was ever applied. Remember that this is supposed to create a "wet look" that lasts for a few years according to BP. Alan came out to inspect and agreed that the pavers needed to be resealed and that more sand needed to be installed between the paver joints. Since it was so hot, we both agreed to wait until the weather cooled in early fall. We're now in the middle of Oct so I contacted BP and reminded them of the warranty work that we discussed a few months back. They said they would schedule us and be in touch in a few days. A few days later our backyard camera alerted us around 6:30 7:00a that someone was in our backyard. Sure enough there was someone walking around our backyard and patio door. When I got to the door, I realized that it was Alan (the owner). He showed up unannounced and let himself into the backyard. I won't go into that conversation, but we weren't too happy about it. He showed up (no scheduled appointment was made) with someone from a pressure washing company. He then told me that the pavers only need to be cleaned using a blower instead of pressure washing them. I told that it's been months since it was cleaned and that blowing it clean wasn't the proper way to prep for sealer. He became irritated at this point. I told him that they can either do the job correctly or don't do it at all. At that point, they both turned around and left. I reached out to the office staff and told them what happened. They apologized and told me that Alan has a bad habit of showing up unannounced and very early in the morning. They went ahead and scheduled a crew to come out and pressure wash the paver to prep for the sand and sealer. It's now early November. Two guys show up to perform the work. After the sand work was completed they started to prep for the sealer by pressure washing the pavers. When that was done they used a blower to remove any standing water, but since this is November, the pavers were still wet. When I saw that they were about to start applying the sealer, I asked if they were going to let it dry overnight and seal in the morning. They said, "no, it'll be okay." Anyone that knows how to seal pavers knows that the surface must be dry before applying (it even says that on the instructions). I told them that it's not going to take and that it's not the correct way to apply it. They did it anyway (again without rolling it out to even coating). Well, here we are now a few months later and what I knew was going to happen, happened. Due to the moisture, delamination has started to occur on the top surface. By the way, delamination doesn't get better, it gets worse. I called back letting them know that exactly what I said was going to happen, happened and that I wanted the sealer stripped and resealed again. At the time of this review, they have ignored all requests to honor the warranty, and will not return calls. I have filed a complaint with the NV contractors board.

It was nice dealing with a veteran owned business that feels really personal with a hands on owner. For some stupid reason 1 side of my wall was basically missing a row of blocks. I've always HATED that my neighbor and I could stare into each other's patio doors without trying. I never wanted to offend him by asking to build the wall up but I took advantage to bring it up as they were moving out. He said yeah he hated it too so go for it. He's on the HOA board so my architectural request got approved within days and the search for a mason began. I got a bunch of responses to my Yelp project request with some saying they don't do small jobs like mine, some crazy quotes of 2k (assume that was F off pricing). Luckily Mr. Brown responded with an incredibly fair quote after I sent details and photos and I think he stopped by the next morning to drop off samples to make sure the colors matched. We got it scheduled pretty quickly and his in person quote was a little lower than the text quote, which has never happened before. It really says what a good and honest person you're dealing with. His guy came out on time, was nice and did a great job. The only issue was that I didn't think I had to mention the mortar should match the existing not match the block color. I didn't pay attention and only caught it after it was done. Mr Brown came out to take a look and his suggestion was to cover the brown mortar with grey. It's not an exact match (I knew it wouldn't be) but it's good enough and I really appreciate his quick response. Masonry work isn't something that comes up often but I will use Brown Masonry again any chance I get. Thank you so much Mr. Brown

We ultimately chose 4M Specialties. This company has been family owned and doing business in the area for over 30 years (receiving top ratings from the BBB). While 4M was not the cheapest (maybe slightly below average), Mike (Miguel) and Jorge took the most interest in understanding our needs/desires and demonstrated/communicated the greatest knowledge (from years of hands-on experience). Our experience was fantastic in terms of knowledge of the trade/skills, quality of work, and customer care as compared to the contractors my wife and I have worked with over the last 40 years. This experience began with initial project scoping and continued through materials selection (e.g., grout color), design options (accent tile placements), project execution and clean-up (by the crews), and final walk-thru (to ensure our complete satisfaction). Although phone responses were initially not as timely as we would have liked, we found that this was never an issue once the project began -- Mike provides nearly immediate response to texts whenever he is not on site. As for the work crews themselves, extremely polite and considerate. Whenever we had any questions during the process, the supervisors addressed them immediately. Each member of the various trade crews was respectful of our landscape and property, and never left for the day without a thorough cleanup of the work site (all of the 4M employees we met had been with the company for 15+ years). We highly recommend 4M Specialties and will call upon 4M again when we replace our bedroom/bath flooring with tiling!

All my questions were always answered same day and communication was never an issue. They even provided a 3D rendering of what the yard would look like! Monday morning a large team of probably 10 or 12 workers showed up right on time and had the yard completed by Friday afternoon. We were expecting a long process and couldn't believe they completed everything in 5 days. They did a lot of work - gas lines to a custom firepit, raised planters with lights, a dog run, a paver walkway to my front yard, turf with drains, paver stepping stones, and a large paver patio area. They even had an awning guy come and reassemble an awning my dad had given me, as well as hooked up lighting and a ceiling fan. Very happy with the end result! A couple of my plants started to die and Walt responded right away that they would come take a look. They have a great warranty as well.
