My son wasn't feeling well and wanted an Acaí bowl for which I would happily get for him as it has lots of health benefits and calories he really needed. I am also boycotting most major chains so o wanted to go somewhere local. This place is about 2 miles from my house and they had really nice options with lots of different sizes. I got a chicken potato coxinha and a banana and peanut butter coconut milk smoothie. Everything was good and she prepared it right in front of me. They had in door and outdoor seating and WiFi. I was driving home when I noticed the food truck & decided to turn around & give it a try. Ive been into Açaí bowls lately so was super excited to get one. I went with the traditional açaí bowl. This was my first time having an açaí bowl with condensed milk & powdered milk, it wasn't bad at all. The food was ran by a couple, very friendly people. Not busy at all, only open Saturdays & Sundays 9:30am- 5:30pm. Will be back to try their Brazilian pastries! read more

MY FAVORITE ACAÍ BOWL!! it's a simple, no frills bowl so don't go in expecting those indulgent bowls with tons and tons of toppings and flavors. Also do get the traditional! They put condensed milk and milk powder which gives it such a great nutty flavor that I can't get enough of. I was worried that the condensed milk might make it too sweet, but not at all! She also sells small Brazilian pastries (that are usually all meat filled) and other small bites too. There's a small seating area and also space outside to sit as well. It's a small store run by one Brazilian woman, so remember to be patient and give them a try! read more

I come here about once a week with my family and we absolutely love it. This is the best acai bowl in the entire Bay Area. I have tried so many places, but nothing compares to this spot. Both the Traditional and the Americano bowl are fire. The Traditional feels like the real deal if you like that classic Brazilian taste, and the Americano is a little lighter but packed with flavor. You really cannot go wrong with either one. They also have delicious Brazilian snacks and treats, so it is easy to grab something extra when you are here. Everything is always fresh, tasty and prepared with care. The people who work here make you feel welcome too, which is a big part of why I keep coming back. If you love acai or just want something refreshing and satisfying, this is the place. I recommend it every time. read more

My daughter needed a quick snack before her next wrestling match and did not want anything heavy. We both love açaí bowls and when this popped up we had to try it. It is a one man show inside but super efficient and friendly. I ordered 2 Americano açaí bowls, and several pastries to try. We had the chicken cochina, chicken empanada, and ground beef triangle. Surprisingly the pastries were warm when we got them and were solid. The empanada and coxhina had the same filling, different dough. All were good as well as our bowls. I think if the bowls had blueberries it would've been even more fire. Very solid place, worth a stop of craving authentic açai. read more

Support local. I wish the blueberries and peanut butter was already added into the americano rather than being $1.50 add-ons ya dig. My medium bowl came out to $22 cuz i added in a bunch of shit. It ihhh what it ihhhhhhh A generous amount of peanut butter was added but i would have preferred a drizzle than it being layered on the bottom. Also i would have preferred the protein powder blended into the açaí instead of just layered on top of it. I didn't see or taste any of the dragonfruit though.. was it blended in? Or am i trippin i will be back açaí was fresh and great quality not no shit from sambazon packets. read more

I happened to be passing this cute little place because I needed to make a u-turn at the main intersection, and decided to pull over an give it a try. I remembered someone told me about it before and saidnits very good. I had the green smoothie and a cheese bun. The proprietor was very friendly an efficient. Food truck turned store front? Ellen and I were looking for a snack to tide us over until dinner and since we were in the Richmond area, she found Brazuca Acaí. It's a little store with a food truck in front. When you walk in there are three small tables so this is mainly more of a to go place especially if you have a party bigger than 2. Brazuca Acaí has more than acai bowls. They also sell fresh fruit juices, pastries and sandwiches. We ordered a traditional acai bowl which was a good size. The lady who made it took great care in the presentation. I had never had an acai bowl with powdered milk and condensed milk. It added a different texture to the bowl but ultimately started becoming a little too sweet for me. She had asked us if we wanted everything but we wanted to try it as they made it. They accepted credit cards as well as cash. Street parking only as they are in a residential neighborhood. Go and support this small business! read more

Excellent experience. This was my second time here and this time I brought my son. He ordered a Brazilian hotdog and when they brought it to the table it was not what we were expecting. But it was absolutely delicious and a very nice size portion. It was covered in corn, pieces of bacon, small potatoe strings. I'm a loyalist so I ordered a americano açaí bowl again and it was super good and flavorful. Loved how they coat the bottom of the bowl with granola. The staff were nice and friendly. There's tables outside for you to sit. Or if you're lucky, you can sit at the one table inside. Can't wait to go back and try more of the food items on the menu. read more

Now I left a review back on May 17 due to the way my order was made and service that I received, which was like the other time that I had been there. But as soon as I left the review the owner called asked me to REMOVE the comment and he would make it right the next time I came in. I informed him that I'm only out here about once a month for treatment. Quick service, very friendly staff and the food was fantastic. The interior is smaller than expected and is more of a take away location option, but they do have stools and a few seating options. They do also have food trucks options for a similar menu as their storefront location. Great brazilian snack food options. read more

Amazing Brazilian Delicatessen Spot. Tropical Flavor to the Max! I love this new Joint , if you want to finally try something different and better than Jamba Juice , this is the place. Authentic Acai bowls , with original flavors. And the Delicious pastries , My favorite is their version of Señorita Bread , it has coconut flakes and a slight sweet cheese inside . They also have many delicious meaty items , They have their Brazilian Names but they are like empanadas, and like beef cake . The Pan De Queso , it is a delicious bread, I take it home and enjoy it with plenty of fresh extra virgin olive oil. Now if you're a little extra hungry come by and grab a Brazilian Burger or Brazilian Hotdog , amazing food. Only after 7 I think very rich in flavor their burger are nothing you've tried before , totally customizable but the one that has Bacon , Fried eggs, a patty , cheese, mini fries and corn is of the hook! They have just so many items , every week I'm trying something completely different and delicious . I think there is a Picanha burger I have to try. The milkshakes too look delicious. Like really good hibiscus tea, or the hollow chocolate easter eggs that I learned are dereguir for gift giving in Brasil. And then of course, there's the community bulletin board, mostly in Portuguese, but also advertising English such things as Brazilian festivals, local Fado concerts and Festa Junina - a very special fun Brazilian holiday that takes place around the summer solstice. It's worth hitting the button and letting them buzz you in. no the store doesn't look like much from inside, but sometimes the best presents are in little packages. Also, the same family runs a tax and insurance business, and if you need to ship stuff to Brazil cheap, they can help with that. Oh and they sell any number of Brazil themed clothing items. Very nice people.

Matt had been talking about Brazilian steakhouse every time he saw something that reminded him remotely of Fogo de Chao, so I figured this opportunity might be of interest to him. Come to find out that the day after I make the reservation he asks if I'd be willing to go a Brazilian steakhouse for the long weekend, so I got to surprise him with the fact that I already had a reservation. I'm not the biggest fan of Fogo de Chao based on my prior experiences there. I do believe that I have been to a Show de Carnes location before and had another great experience, but also Show de Carnes's Memorial Day promotion was slightly better than Fogo's and I much preferred that their location was outside of the city even if on the other side of the bridge. I did have to call the morning of to delay our reservation slightly, but it was taken care of for us without hassle. We even got seated closer to the original reservation time when we ended up running early. There isn't much space to wait in the front lobby area especially on a packed night, but everything looks very upscale from the wine bottles on the wall to the crystals above the self-serve side buffet. As far as mandatory meats, I have a couple of personal rules when it comes to Brazilian steakhouse, including go light on the sides and only go for the beef. Picanha is my favorite, extra rare too, so I made myself a whole pincanha meat salad while probably giving the guy cutting the meat a good scare. The grilled pineapple is also a must, followed by the cheese and honey. Matt got a lot more variety but it takes a while for the guys to come around with meat that has already been sliced up some so I can get to the parts that I like. We got a papaya cream and passion fruit mousse for dessert, which we probably really didn't need but enjoyed thoroughly as we are both dessert people. As it was a busy night, it was not too easy to flag a server down. I saw picanhas skip our table left and right so I'm not sure there's an established route for them to bring the meat around. The staff did seem to work together with great teamwork, and someone always stopped by to make sure we had more water and our choice of sides. I would definitely go back and recommend it to anyone that is a protein or all you can eat fan. The regular price per person is definitely steep in my humble opinion, but if you can catch a promo it'll be a great time. Also, don't choose between still or sparkling, ask for tap. I will not be getting got again next time.

I stopped by Brazuca Açaí in Richmond and honestly, it's one of the best spots around if you're into fresh and legit açaí bowls. Everything tasted super fresh, and you can tell they don't cut corners with their ingredients. The texture of the açaí was perfect--not too icy, not too runny--and the toppings were generous. You've got to check out this açaí spot--it's so good! The açaí is smooth and flavorful, not icy or watered down, and they top it with super fresh fruit, crunchy granola, and just the right amount of honey. My husband and I were craving Açaí, so we were recommended this place and decided to try it out. We ordered the traditional Açaí bowl and we absolutely fell in love with it. They were tiny with hardly any filling. The empanadas usually have a ground meat or shredded chicken. This one had pieces of pork so it was not flavorful at all. There's table seating indoors and outdoors. The yucca con chicharron was okay too. Usually it comes with a salad like but this one came with 1 beet, 1 slice of tomato and 1 slice of cucumber with a small bag of curtido. No sauce. Tip: The server gave me a business card and recommended to call for orders to go as the waiting time was 30 minutes. I did not mind waiting. I appreciated her sharing this.
