I love their raspados the mangonadas you can ask with half ice or just mango nieve or half and half for mangonadas. They have an extensive paleta selection and a tons of Mexican goodies like the ones you buy at the (pulga) or flee market. The place is very clean and plenty of tables to enjoy with your love ones.

This new spot is serving up some serious eats! The menu selection is huge, ample parking in a pretty crowded plaza. There's not much to say except you just can't go wrong with a mangonada. Cravings satisfied!

New Life Cafe is located downstairs in Market Square Mall. The service was the absolute BEST! The restaurant was also clean and the environment was friendly! I had the pleasure of ordering their fried mushroom tacos and a Kay Luv's Passion & Plankton (passion fruit, mango pulp & marine phytoplankton) juice. The tacos were so flavorful! The taco contained fried mushrooms, lettuce, cilantro, green onion, tomato, a spicy sauce on top all inside of a special-made signature taco shell! The taco shell held together nicely and did not get soggy despite the taco being full of delicious vegetables! I really enjoyed my meal, so much so I cleared the plate. I was given a sample of the Mac no Cheese to try and it was creamy and flavorful. It is great that we have a healthy black-owned businesses in Richmond that not only care about feeding the bodies in the community but nourishing our souls! I would definitely recommend New Life Cafe AND Naturally Herbs and More! I will keep going back and I hope they continue to prosper and provide knowledge to the community!

I was disappointed when the earlier one closed during the pandemic, so the little happy dance I made when I received a opening day announcement in a mailing postcard. This cafe is very very close to the Richmond BART station, rather it's attached to the BART parking lot. The entrance is on the main street, sometimes the doors are open, sometimes it's closed. I figured out the times when the cafe opens, so I visit there soon after eating lunch. Coffee here has been a good experience. The flavor is not sour (my type) and it's also pretty hot (my relative loves hot coffee), so the drink satisfies both of the coffee lovers in the household. The kind staff recommends adding syrup to the lattes when ordering, but personally I like the original flavor of the coffee they brew. I haven't sat in the interior cafe due to me visiting here near closing times, but there is a lot of places to sit down and enjoy a coffee and a snack. Speaking of snacks, the cafe also sells pastries. All of them look really good to try with a cup of coffee, so I'll try some on my next visit.

The dining area is spacious and bright with large windows. You order at the counter and get a number. The food is then brought to you. The menu is international. It is therefore great for groups of people who may have diverse palates. On our visit our group of 3 ordered pork chop rice plate, burger, and breakfast burritos. The portions were very generous, and the taste was on point. My pork chop was chunky and marinated well. The prices were reasonable for the amount of food we got.

Sometimes I feel like there are too many of the high school students in here, but I guess that makes sense since it's right next-door to the school. If you time it right, and don't come right when school lets out, it's fine.

The cost is higher because they're toast your bread, but my disappointment was so deep that I immediately sought for your customer service. /the deli was dim, there was only 1 customer, 1 employee and I don't believe your store along Meeker Avenue will last long for the sandwich price and 2 thin slices of meat and heaps of lettuce. The name of this nondescript takeout operation is actually its address on Macdonald Avenue. Ironically, the most popular place to eat in this neighborhood is McDonald's. I barely found it because it looks like a vacant storefront with a For Lease sign. A red OPEN sign was the only giveaway. I happened to read that this place offers some excellent Korean-style dishes. I think the menu can be more accurately described as global. It's apparently a mother-and-son business with the kitchen run by a Korean-American chef named Daniel who doesn't share his last name. His mother works the front of the house, and people order beforehand and come in for pick up. There's a community table presumably set up for dining, but the space felt more like a dental waiting area. Through the order window, I could see Daniel way in the back beyond a passthrough. I used their QR code to review the menu and order on the spot. All the entrees appeared enticing including Grilled Short Rib and Fried Pitman Farms Chicken. I chose the $24.50 Market Grain Salad. It was beautifully presented even in a takeout box (Photo 9). There was a mix of arugula, iceberg, romaine, and Treviso radicchio at the base topped with visual jewels: Fuji apple, Sonia Rojas cara cara orange, blood orange, mandarin orange, muscat grapes, and avocado. Further toppings included spring onion., tarragon, sunflower seeds, English cucumber, heirloom carrots, and French breakfast radish. Farro, red quinoa, and French feta cheese added more layers of flavor and texture. Harissa grilled Pitman Farms chicken provided a succulent serving of protein, and a unique sesame soy lemon chili dressing finished off a masterful creation. It was an impeccable salad. The $11 Skin On Gaufrette Fries were cross-cut and impossibly tender with a tasty dipping sauce (Photo 6). A genuine winner!
