Quick and easy service along with a warm smile The long: Wow, I have no idea what was crawling up the other reviewer's butt when she wrote her review - I don't even want to know. It is a good thing I stumbled upon here one day (sans yelp review) when I really needed some flowers for a surprise visit to my old teacher in Brea. Ms. Mary Jo promptly helped me and after seeing that I was absolutely clueless as to what I wanted and she wasted no time by asking the right questions from the start: "What is your price range?" - 35 dollars "What is the occasion?" - A thank you bouquet for an old teacher of mine "What colors would you like?" - Umm... pretty ones. She got to work right away and created this beautiful arrangement with vibrant colors, which she placed in a beautiful glass vase. To top it all off, she lovingly placed the the whole thing in a box that was designed to hold the vase still in a moving car. The entire time she did not give a hint of irritation at my ignorance of flower arrangements nor did she act "RUD" as the other reviewer put it. Imagine my surprise when I saw that Brea Florist had only 1 star from 1 review but then again, being a yelper doesn't automatically make one an expert critic - does it? Folks, this is a great example of why we should take yelp reviews with a grain of salt. I've taken to sometimes challenging seemingly baseless reviews and getting pleasantly surprised, which happens more often than not. Ordered a bouquet last minute for an anniversary celebration and they were able to make a nice bouquet within an hour. Was a little pricey, but that may be because of the rush. Last week we had a very last minute order request on New Years Eve for a condolences arrangement to be sent. There was a misunderstanding on the type of arrangement to be sent and when we called them after New Years to let them know what happened they stepped up and made/sent another arrangement with the correct flowers at no extra cost to us. I contacted brea florist 1 week before my wedding for centerpieces and floral as I had a vendor fall through at the last minute, yes, very stressful, but Mary Jo was so kind and helped me out so much by taking this on so last minute and it could not have been an easy job to take on.
