We had the best time at Slimeatory! We came to celebrate my daughter's birthday, and it ended up being such a fun and memorable experience. August 1 2026 I don't mind paying $30 for slime if my daughter is getting an experience along with it. That's what places like this are supposed to be about. But instead, the kids they hire behind the counter acted like helping us was the biggest inconvenience in the world. If you're charging premium prices, then act like a premium business. Smile, interact with the kids, make them excited. My daughter was more excited than the employee working there. If you're going to treat customers like it's Burger King, then charge Burger King prices. Don't charge luxury prices for an experience that feels like nobody wants to be there. The slime was fine, but customer service is part of what you're paying for, and that part completely missed the mark. The concept is cute but the establishment itself needs some help. I took about five minutes for my daughter to create her slime the store associate that helped us was friendly but I felt a little bit rushed because it seemed like she was the only one working and there was somebody waiting behind us to also make their slime. She put all of her items on the cart for us to mix it ourselves, and we headed over to the table for mixing. We sat down and my daughter started mixing and I noticed immediately it started staining her skin. Another mom I saw sitting with her daughter said that there was no bathrooms in there and that we could try to get it off with this half used bottle of hand sanitizer, which she was attempting, but that if I needed my slime or sticky to use this other bottle that was also on the table it would've been nice if there were a little bit more guidance on what we were doing and also a fair warning that this was gonna stain our skin despite us washing it at home about 30 times I originally considered this for my daughter's birthday party, but again after looking at some of the reviews and seeing how they double booked people which actually originally happened to us back in October and I booked in the lack of a clean space to wash our hands. There's no way I would book a party here and spend a couple hundred dollars. The fact that if we wanted to wash our hands, we had to walk down to the other end of the mall and go to a food court seems crazy. As other reviews have mentioned there really is no explanation about how this stuff on the table works I'm giving it two stars because the experience itself was fun for my daughter, but will I be back probably not read more

My son really loves slime, so Slimeatory was basically slime paradise for him. He was so excited to see all the diff textures of premium slimes, scents, charms, and merch. They offer pre-made slimes you can buy, or you can visit the DIY slime bar for a fun experience! My little guy chose the cloud slime because it's fluffy, and he picked green and teal for the colors, as his favorite is aquamarine. He also decided on cookies scent, which was adorable. I personally loved the apple scent, but of course, it's all about him. Lol You get to select 5 toppings like glitter, charms, foam beads, and sprinkles, and then you get to name your slime. You choose your slime (didn't realize there's various types of consistencies until coming here), and I guess your various toppings. The girls helping were friendly enough and patient with a bunch of loud kids. Unsure with the value since we were party guests, but my kid enjoyed it enough that he wants to go back and make slime again. It's cute. It's messy. It's for kids. It's fun. Instead, the staff had almost no personality or engagement, which is surprising for a place designed for children. My 3-year-old tried talking to the employees and they barely acknowledged him or even smiled. When I mentioned that it was our first time, the response I got was simply "okay." No explanation of how anything worked or what to do next. We were just handed the slime materials with zero instructions. No one told us the slime dye would stain hands, and now both my child's hands and mine are bright blue. A quick warning would have been appreciated, especially since I have a corporate job tomorrow and this looks very unprofessional. They also never explained the slime activator sitting on the tables. When I asked an employee what it was for, she smirked and said it's to make the slime less sticky. That would have been helpful to know before my son got slime all over his clothes. There's also a ball pit area where kids were sweating and playing with no shoes on, which didn't feel sanitary at all. Overall, for the price I expected a fun, guided activity for kids. Speaking of children, this slime is NOT non-toxic. So, bear that in mind with little ones who might put it in their mouth, or even with mixing and may put their hands in their mouth or, eyes. I booked my daughter's birthday party at Slimeatory in the Brea Mall a few weeks in advance and sent out invitations. A week later, the manager called saying they double booked and needed to move the time. Fine--we adjusted. Then 20 minutes later, she called again saying they double booked again and needed to change it a second time. At that point, I canceled the reservation. Since then, I've spent the last three weeks emailing and leaving voicemails for corporate with zero response. No follow-up, no accountability. Really disappointing experience. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more
