I came here after dance practice since it was conveniently right next door and for a massage parlor I assume it's relaxing and professional but unfortunately had a really disappointing experience. I specifically asked for firm pressure, and the therapist ignored my request and continued with very light pressure. She also used a rough towel that made my back itch, which took away from the whole experience. The environment didn't feel clean either.. even the restroom looked neglected, which was concerning. On top of that, the therapist's attitude was unfriendly and uncomfortable. Her tone felt forced, she gave me dirty looks, and I definitely didn't feel respected as a customer. What made it worse is that she pressured me for a tip afterward and even tried to guilt-trip me about how "hard she worked," despite providing poor service. That's extremely unprofessional for any massage place. I don't recommend this location based on my experience. There are plenty of other spas where you can feel comfortable, respected, and actually get the service you ask for. Ps. I frequently have al 90 minute body massage Swedish style with mild to hard pressure for quite a while! Always end up feeling better and relaxed! Jenny is my favorite masseuse and knows all about needs and how to take care of them. She pays attention to areas where her skills do make a big difference to my back and shoulders issues!! Don't really like writing bad reviews BUT this was the least favorite of all the times I've been to a massage place. The lady used her elbows and forearms and did my lower back for like 30 minutes. When she did finally massage elsewhere, she used one hand. No shoulders, no neck massage. And just Rubbed oil on my arms. She rubbed oil on my legs for about 5 minutes. I live across the street from this place and had always avoided it due to the negative reviews I'd read. However, I injured my back playing hockey this morning, so I decided to give it a try and book a 90-minute massage. I've been getting massages my entire adult life for back pain and generally enjoy them. Unfortunately, this was by far the worst experience I've had, from the phone call to entering the location. Before the massage even began, I was in the process of paying when the masseuse asked me to pay the tip upfront, which I found unusual. I mentioned I'd tip 20%. The base rate for the massage was $90, which seemed reasonable. However, they added an extra $10, according to the sign, but the employee told me it was actually $15. I didn't argue about this because my back pain was severe, and I was willing to pay $125, including the tip, if it meant getting some relief. When I explained that I'd already included a $20 tip, she laughed at me and said, "This isn't a restaurant, honey; this is hard work." At that point, I asked for my card back. I was shocked by her reaction, especially since I believe a 15-20% tip is perfectly appropriate, particularly for a service that hasn't even been provided yet. read more

I've been going here for a few years now. Jenni is still the best masseuse I've had. Ive been to several luxury wellness spas, but the massages don't measure up to Jenni's techniques. I always make a 2 hour appointment with her and she focuses on the areas I need it most. It's important to communicate what your preferences are as she will spend more time treating those areas. I got in a terrible car accident and seeing her regularly was better than the results I saw from physical therapy and chiropractic care. Depending on the therapeutic needs of my body, I get a combination of deep tissue, Thai massage (walks on balk), reflexology and assisted stretching. Don't let the small, no frills setting discourage you, it really is a the best place to get a massage. I should add that I've never tried the other masseuses, I always make an appointment with Jenni as I completely trust that I will always have the best experience. read more

My husband & I both absolutely loved the deep tissue 60 min massage. They walked on our backs, stepping gracefully and with precision. They asked if it was ok to walk I absolutely recommend it! I booked an hour massage. 5 minutes in, she goes out to take care of her kids for a few minutes. Then 10 minutes in asks if she can only do 45 minutes because they are very busy. Then 20 minutes in asks if we can only do 30 minutes because again, they are "busy." I didn't see anyone else there except myself. Why allow someone to book a massage if you're too busy to do the service. I will not be back. Nothing was inviting or welcoming about this place. read more

They had me wait in the room for 35min before she even came In to start the massage. When I told her it was 12:35 (my apt was at 12) she argued and said it was 12:32. When I left I tipped 20% ($12 on $60- after making me wait 35 min and stopping half way because she forgot to take my temperature- which took another 5min out of the massage) she said "people usually tip $20 on this service". The worst massage I've ever had. The lady never introduced herself. The table was super uncomfortable and her technique was horrible. I felt like all she did was scratch my back as she has long nails. I had a huge knot on my shoulder blade that she never even touched. I only wanted my back massaged. I had to reminder her several times to only massage my back. When I walked out she pointed to the sign that said "tips are appreciated". When I hesitated she again pointed to the tip sign. Be very careful when approaching this place. It is very sketchy and the lobby looks dark and drab. Nothing is welcoming about this place. It feels almost as if you're stepping into some kind of criminal enterprise. The worst aspect about it is how they gouge customers. They will charge you a $20 tip for a one hour massage and $40 tip for a two hour massage. Although Tina provided a pretty good massage, she tried to convince me that their tipping was fair by begging and putting on a sorrowful performance. Tina will try to intimidate you and use other unsavory methods to convince you that you need to pay an exorbitant amount of money for a tip. Something important to keep in mind is that the original building was on the corner of the small shopping center where it's located in, within feet of the very small space where they now operate their mysterious, ominous business. I've seen these kinds of businesses. When they downsize by moving into a smaller space, the ambience is no longer welcoming. They seem to be desperate, depressed and even rude because they no longer rake in the profits that they were making when they had a larger and nicer building and environment. The customer is instead treated as a commodity to rake in as much illicit profit from them as they can. read more
